Had a nail in my Bridgestone run flat tire well within limits of the dot and they said they couldn’t repair it and wanted to instead charge me 260 for a new one. … went to Mr Tire on Davis dr, they repaired it easily for $29… NTB are overpriced and apparently incompetent at least at that location…. Unfortunately I still went ahead and bought a new one for $50 cheaper online including tax and shipping based on them telling me it was not repairable … live and learn. Hopefully my review helps someone else before they get scammed by them.

To say they went above and beyond to take care of me is the understatement of the century. Like, my faith in humanity is restored. It’s taken me a few days to write this and I still don’t know how to express my gratitude for them. It’s obvious that I don’t know anything about cars and people have used that to get an insane amount of money and not even do the work, but they showed me that there are people who care and want to help. Im always coming back and I’ve already recommended them to my friends and family because they proved that they are genuine and that’s 99% of what I look for in a mechanic. They explained and showed me what needed to be done and why, and everyone there was friendly and informative. Thank you again guys!

I had to have some tires put on rims for me. I brought the tires in and the rims. They did a great job. Very nice guys helpful and mellow, matter of fact . Cost was under 100 which I thought was great.

I had my car serviced at the dealership and had to have a spark plug replaced. Today when I turned on my car my check engine light came on again so I took it to National Tire and Battery. They took me right away with no appointment and ran a diagnostic test on my car, found that the spark plug that was replaced was faulty and tried to repair for me. The fact that they squeezed me in on a Saturday and didn’t charge me for the diagnostic test attests to the fact that they really care about their customers and want to provide excellent service. Joshua the store manager clearly explained everything and along with the technician Don they were able to fix my check engine light with very little wait time. Highly recommend you go see them for your car issues!

I was traveling through the area and had to stop in and they did a few free checks for me tire pressure check/air they also checked my fluids and battery as well !! The staff upfront and the techs was beyond polite and respectful and did an amazing job on the things I had to have done! Didn’t have a long wait was taken care of in a timely manner! Thanks NTB!!

Very disappointed with this location. Previously had good experiences, but I brought my car in for a diagnostic 2 weeks ago for an issue starting the car. Was told I needed 3 thousand dollars in repairs for the catalytic convertors and O2 sensors and was told they still werent even sure it would fix the issue. Brought to to another place for another opinion, who were able to identify it as a starter issue. Wasted time and money on a diagnostic that didnt even identify the actual problem and then could have wasted 3000 dollars on repairs that wouldnt even fix the problem.

The BEST prices around but more importantly the service and value I got was unsurpassed. Marc, Josh, Dennis and tech Andrew were phenomenal. I am very picky about my cars and they took the time and had the patience to explain what needed to happen. I had an appointment and was in and out in less than an hour. Marc took the time to price out additional tires that I will be needing in the near future. Couldn’t have asked for a better customer service experience. You won’t go wrong here!!

Did the service, but they could not seem to grasp the problem I was facing prior to having a screw in my tire. Had the incorrect address for me somehow and didnt care to try and spell my name right. Took way longer than necessary to patch the tire. Left a rag in my car.

Great staff great prices

Good oil change but tried selling me tires and an air filter replacement. Instead of just doing the oil change, they took the time and energy to quote me on tires (which I did not want, and said no thanks multiple times), as well as took out my air filter to come show it to me (which I usually change on my own, so also a no thanks). So be careful when you go here and dont get oversold on things your car may not need! Nice gentlemen, but definitely do not plan to return to this location after this experience. (Food for thought: My boyfriend went here a few weeks ago and the same person did not offer to change his air filter or any of this other salesy nonsense. It was disappointing receiving such different treatment.)

Straight shooters, honest,fair prices and fast service

Honestly, the i was very dissatisfied with my service today. I had an appointment to get my tires changed at 3pm, and didn’t get out of there until 5pm. Tires don’t take that long to change. The technician working on my car was extremely lazy and took his time. He also took about 10 breaks, 5 of them to get M&Ms. That is not acceptable at all. No apologies. And in the middle of working on my car, while there are 3 people there, and my car was the only one in the bay, another customer came complaining about his car battery, and my technician left doing work on my tires to assist the other customer. This is just unacceptable.

My better half had a flat got the spare on got it to them they checked if they could repair the tire before selling me on a new one. We needed a tire but they are good they are honest and checked the car for brought up a issue we did not know we had going on.If you live in Cary and need a reliable service they will take care of you.

Hands down the best car place I have been. These guys are so great. Every single time I have had a problem - they help and go above and beyond. Last night I had a problem with my tire and I got there right before they closed and they were still willing to help, so thank you so much Marc. I am an emergency Veterinary Nurse and everytime I walk in they recognize me. Josh and Marc always tell me how their pets are doing and I absolutley love it. Josh and Marc - you guys are the best and I hope you stay at this location forever cause you both are the main reason I keep coming back to this place. Keep doing good things. Yall rock!

So far so good, got a flat tire on the way to work. Was able to drop off car, get to work on time. Every phone call I have had with them has been polite, professional, and courteous.

Excellent customer service. I had a tire issue from Tire Discounters in Dayton OH which ntb was able to fix and Bill my warranty.

We were at this shop for some tires on my boyfriends truck. I just want to say that Branden went above and beyond. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon and even though he had a full shop, he made room for us and they finished quicker than we could have expected. Thank again to Branden for explaining everything to us and getting us back on the road quickly. We definitely will be back here with both of our cars.

They helped get new tires on my work truck and got it done extremely fast! The manager Michael was also very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me information for their fleet program and helped us get setup fast and without any issues.

Their customer service was excellent. A gentleman by the name of Mark assisted me with some quotes and was able to get me the most bang for my buck. The technicians had 4 new tires mounted, balanced, and aligned on my car in less then 90 minutes. Id recommend NTB to any one of my friends.

Very disappointed, I have been a customer since 2008. I sent my girl friend in with my van for a oil change and a tire rotation. She tried to give them the coupon that listed all that was to be done including a tire rotation, but they said they did not need it. When she brought the bill it specifically stated the tires were not rotated. I called and asked why and was told they only rotate tires when specifically asked to. I asked why did you not take the coupon that stated tire rotation. The man on the other end was rude and very gruff, he said I could come back and wait for them to see if the tires were rotate able. All tires are rotate able, these are almost new tires. I feel like they tried to take advantage of my girl friend thinking she is a woman and did not know better.

The staff here are truly one of a kind! On my way to work this morning my low tire icon came up, I call ntb tell the mechanic the situation with out question with out appointment he tells me to come in at that exact moment so he can check my tires out. I came in he was so friendly and so helpful told me to pull into the garage put air into my tires explained what could of caused this and I had peace of mind the rest of the day at work knowing Im all set and my tire problem is taken care of. I dont know the mechanics name he was in at 7 am this morning, but I want him to know how much I appreciate all he has done for me this morning, Im definitely coming back here for all my car needs. Truly 5/5 customer service. Truly you can tell how passionate he is about what he does! A huge thank you to this mechanic! I told my co workers about this my one co worker said she comes here all the time and is not surprised that I got phenomenal customer service here! Ill also refer others to you guys! A big thank you!!!!

First time I went in for new tires. came out with the wrong size valve stem in the tire so I couldnt fill tire with air, and an over torqued lug nut that snapped when I had to take it off to replace with a donut. went in to get those fixed, came out with a completely different sized lug nut on that tire and then found out the other side also had an over torqued lug nut, also snapping. I dont even want to check the other two tires; taking it to a real shop to be fixed. NTB - Never Trust this Business

I had a flat tire so I went in picked out a tire. The guy came out said I needed another tire and I said not today. Then they called me said my car was done and I paid for the tire and drove home. When I got home my tire was flat. In the commotion of telling me I needed another tire they forgot to change the first tire that I paid for. So I had to go back the next morning after pumping the tire up very unsatisfied with being late for work to redo that

Best customer service by Michael and his team. Called this morning around 7. They let me know they had a busy day that if I could get in before 8 they could have it looked it. After going over all the information with me they checked the tire. The provided me information on the damages done and showed me the damage done to the tire. He helped me get the right tires that they had in stock. Check-in, check tire, removal of old tires, and new tire put on in all under 1 hour! Would highly recommend them for any of your service needs.

I’ve came here three times and each time I have received excellent service especially from Marc, is sometimes nerve racking to come in a tire shop as a female. However they break everything down to you and never upsell when I come alone, especially Kevin he was real prompt when it came to my tires. NTB warped a Jaguar rotor replacing my tires. Its making some strange noise, but it should be safe to drive. said the over gripped young man. The 6:30 pm It shall be finished required an overnight stay. My wife flipped staying an hour longer in the morning making her late for work.Jaguar drove the car as okay a few hours earlier, NTB damaged the rotors and Precision Tune replaced the rotor. The Precision Tune mechanic showed me the two shine marks that matched the angle on the overtightened lug nuts that DAMAGED the rotor.The NTB survey received bad results. The supervisor called me to apologize. He confirmed that his shops always due work correctly with calibrated wrenches and I should not be upset. NTB poor DAMAGING WORK SHALL CONTINUE because he confirmed no changes will be made.

Warren is awesome, this is the second time Ive been to ntb, the first time was a flat repair for a friend, they knew it was an emergency and fixed it, rather than replacing the tire. I came back the second time for an oil change and inspection. These guys are always fair and awesome. They wont take advantage! Ask for Warren for sure.

Went for an oil change, which didnt go well (they overfilled a full quart, had to go back). Told me the tie rod ends were worn out. Took it to my regular mechanic who said they were fine. Go figure.

Normally they are very good. I Had an appointment and Waited 2.5 hours for an oil change tire rotation and balance. I drove off in my car only to find my steering wheel vibrating I called back and they said that they must have forgetten to balance my wheels so they asked me to bring it back and they would take care of it right away. I couldnt bring back that day, I already wasted 2.5 hours there, I did go back the next day and they said it would be about a 2 wait?? I already waited 2.5 hours and they want another 2 ??? Really?? Not good!

After being refused help by a location also in Cary, NC 40 minutes before closing time , these guys were willing to help get my daughter’s car back on the road with 2 new tires 15 minutes before closing.

Im always taken care of at the Cary, NTB. Marc Rotolo and Kevin, made my visit, auto shop friendly for a woman, who knows nothing about cars, except driving them. I would recommend anyone to visit that store, always friendly and sooo helpful. Good honest staff that explain everything to you about your cars needs. I walked into NTB pretty concerned about my vehicle because it said I needed to change my oil even though I changed it a month prior and I had only driven 2000 miles. I checked the oil myself and it looked low so I took it in and told Marc Rotolo my situation. When he checked the oil he didnt see an issue. Instead of sending me off and telling me there is no issue..like many people will do, he went ahead and changed my oil for me again at no charge. This made me feel so much better especially because Ive been traveling for work and dont need my car breaking down on me. The service was fast and they were very professional. Again, Marc Rotolo showed exceptional customer service and I will definitely be going back to see him.

Took the car their and they said I needed a tune up and would have to pay $600. They gave the car back after several days and it sounded so much worse. They basically didn’t know how to properly fix the car.

Took my car in for repairs about a week ago, when I noticed I still had some persisting issues I took it back and they corrected it free of charge. The manager Brandon was very helpful when working with me.

Went for a balance and inspection. I found out at the DMV they screwed up my VIN, so I had to rush back, get a new inspection, and rush back to the DMV. They did the second one free at least. Worse is the balance. I couldnt tell any difference between before and after, so I took it in to the NTB on 70. The guy there told me my passenger front tire had old wheel weights and was way out of balance, so they either didnt actually DO it and still charged me for it, or did it with old wheel weights and did it WRONG. Either way, not going back to this NTB.

Turned a $20 oil change into over $60! And before giving my keys back, tried to make me buy 4 new tires and 2 new sets of brakes. Looking at the invoice, they force additional labor and services on you because you are unable to refuse it.

Ive been coming to the location on Kildare for Years as Ive always had great customer service and they good care of me w great prices and good work. I went there today for my usual oil change and it had SKYROCKETED in price from my usual $55 (special ) to $65 regular price. ..todays total came to $89 with a $10 deal it was $79 when asked about the significant increase the mans reply I dont know I guess oil went up ...WTH? .so I call the CS number to complain and explained my experience and they were even perplexed w the huge increase ...end up getting back to the Kildare location mgr and she claims they are Now charging if your car uses more the 5 qts a new rule ..And offered zero resolution even said I could come get my car ..(I wasnt that rude shouting customer..was actually curtious as I could be) I then told her she had lost my business permanently as Id had beyond what I call a good experience. Extremely Poor customer service today and Ill Never return to a NTB again too bad 1 day of extremely poor service on many levels can changes years of being reliable customer...

They changed out my front wheel bearings charged me $667 now 20,000 miles later they are dead again...they said they changed out the hubs my mechanic doesnt think so...they charged $200 more than anyone else and did less than was needed and used the cheapest possible parts.......i drove it there thinking it was going to die as it was making a horrific noise..they told me it was an emergency and dangerous..,.my current mechanic says that was a lie...They also tried to convince me my front axle boot was cracked and needed replacing and to replace several other things all of which were unnecessary......basically theyre thieves and liars...highly unreccomended
