Now this is a well-ran store. Everybody inside seem to be in a great mood. There was plenty of inventory. My daughter had a ball. The staff helped us in so many ways that were not required of them to be employees here. There was a young lady working here who had the same interest as my 11-year-old daughter and their conversation was impressive. I had no clue my kid knew so much about squishmelos. But anyway the only complaint I had was I spent way too much money in this store. Be careful it is so easy to do. We will be back. PS we do miss our learning Express it wasnt this awesome but it was still pretty cool. Please come back to Durham. Except this time come to the South point area.

Awesome toy store for kids who are looking for any toy imaginable. We drove 2 hours to Cary to visit this toy store specifically.

Went this evening to get a pop it and there was a HUGE selection! Cashier was super friendly and nice!

My daughter had an absolute amazing time in this store! All of the employees were super nice and helpful to my daughters many questions. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

This is a pretty cool store. Tons of sensory toys / items. They are very pricey though. They have a large selection of smashmellows and also pop its. I loved the options They had for babies also. So many cute and soft toys for Littles. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back if we get another stimulus check ... 😆

I am trying to shop local this year. Learning Express offers a good combination of online convenience and local service. I found items on my granddaughters Amazon list at learningexpressgifts.com, then picked them up, gift wrapped, from the local store for a lower price than Amazons. While I was there, I browsed the thoughtful selection of toys, crafts, stuffed animals in the store and bought several other gifts on sale.

These folks always have excellent service dog etiquette.I personally appreciate that the folks who run these stores are neurodivergent-friendly. There are a lot of products here that are good for autistic folks of all ages. While the store seems to be marketed towards younger people, they are also great with adults.Bonus: they have an amazing Squishmallow selection.

Great local toy shop that my kids LOVE to shop at! Kids can create a birthday box with items in their wish list which makes it so easy for your guests. My daughter filled hers to the brim!

Love the store, but it’s very small and quite pricey. They definitely do have things other big retailers don’t though, but it’s quite a drive. Sad the closer location closed down.

Definitely agree with the person who said the employees are shady. The “no hold” policy for squishmallows only applies sometimes. But if you’re somehow buddy buddy with the workers you’ll get to hold squishmallows. I’ve seen it happen in stores and heard it on the phone while I’ve been there, and it seems like this is quite common across the board if you read other reviews as well. Unfair, but it is funny to see how much squishmallows they have in stock now that aren’t selling, must be regretting that whole policy.

Items were wayyy too PRICY & they obviously dont enforce that employees nor customers wear mask .. Which I think is disturbing. All in all i probably wont go back and just order offline. Also, ABSOLUTELY NOOO DIVERSITY employee wise or customer wise . 🤦🏾

I sat there and listened to one of the employees doing a hold when they NEVER do holds for squishmallows. The front service people were nice though! Just shady employees.

I was harassed and bullied along with being called the crippled girl by an employee. I know others who have had similar interactions. I do not recommend coming here at all. I have attached photos of the employee

The employees here need to be retrained at the very least, or try not hiring people who are ableist and don’t know basic customer service.

This is a gem of a toy store our area is lucky to have. If you need a gift of any kind, they will have the newest and the coolest. We have started shopping slowly in prep for Christmas. We have to budget as my husband lost his job 5.5 weeks ago and still isnt hired elsewhere. Despite that, we choose to support local. Our son loves these toys, the quality, and you can get everything wrapped right on sight!

Ashley was absolutely wonderful helping me by phone to select Christmas gifts for our grandsons! She did all of the shopping for us and had the gifts ready at checkout for my husband to pick up after work. A wonderful personal shopper experience!

Such a fun place, full of educational toys, plush animals, books, and glitter GALORE. Wish I could have had several hours to look at everything in the store, but not possible with an almost-two-year-old in tow. He was mesmerized by the array of options. Way more fun than shopping on Amazon!

Ashley and Jordan are SO nice. My wife and I brought our one year old in, to check out the toys and play and they were able to suggest several age appropriate toys. He did, indeed, love them all. We ended up staying for quite a while and purchased a couple. The girls played with my son and taught him how to use the toys and treated him like a star. He had an amazing time. This is an fqntastic place to bring your kiddo even if just to kill some time. My son had a blast and we will definitely be returning. Absolutely over the top, amazing customer service. I just have to say that this is one of my favorite destinations for any/all gift-giving! The selection they have is amazing...from the Usborne books, to the latest games/puzzles to legos...I always find what Im looking for - for any age and gender! Additionally, the staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming...always trying to help you in any way they can. So, kudos to The Learning Express and thank you for making shopping for birthdays and Christmas (and everything in between) so easy!

This store is so cute!! I took my nieces here and they were so excited about every little toy. I will definitely come back here to get birthday and Christmas gifts for the little ones.

This is one of the nicest place in town to find different than the ordinary gifts. We have been to couple different learning Express in other states, but this is by far the best one. Keep up with the amazing work

Just bought a gift and card for a friends childs first birthday and this place was fantastic. So many cool toys, Ill be coming back for my next friends kids gift. Gale was super helpful with her suggestions and gift wrapping it all. The young lady at the register, didnt catch her name, was very nice and helpful. Ill be back for sure!

The Learning Express has a huge inventory of educational yet fun and unique toys. Shop for the kids or bring them along- there are plenty of toys on display and available to play with. Almost every time a friend’s child has a birthday I stop by here and grab them a toy. They also offer gift wrapping services, so if you’re a last minute shopper like me, they’ll wrap the present for you.

Best place in town for a kids birthday gift. Lots of unique options for all ages. Free wrapping and helpful staff. Love this place.

Astronaut Barbie, Spot It, Ticket to Ride... This place had everything I needed for Christmas. They even wrapped the presents for me which was a huge help.

Took our grandson there when he came for a visit. He ONLY cares about Skylanders and didn’t like going to a store without them. 5 min into the store, and he was hooked. He loved the store. We stayed over an hr, and NanaPapa spent mucho dinero.

Worst customer service Ive ever had !!!!we are in from out of town bought a fidget spinner and with in an hr it broke went back and they refused to exchange it the miserable out of shape staff was the worst ever !!! My daughter spent her money she saved for weeks just to buy a piece of junk !!!
