Everything went as well as it could. I made an appointment to have 1 tire replaced (roofing nail in the sidewall). They provide an Arrival Window when to show up. I arrived on time, the car went right in and the work was completed on time.They were accommodating, even though I walked in on a Friday. Additionally, each of the team members I spoke with were courteous and very professional.I can recommend this Discount Tire location emphatically with two thumbs up.Thank you for the expeditious service.

I got tired of dealing with tire rack for my continental tires that only last 1/2 the rated mileage on my rather heavy SUV. This place has the hunter elite road force balancer and they balanced my wheels with new shoes by continental for a great price.They even worked with continental to get me a great rebate using the mileage warranty.They also balanced the wheels to a ridiculously sensitive level on request. My vehicle is very prone to vibration at specific speeds this place has done the best balancing job Ive ever experienced for my vehicle.I worked with different team members there and they were all excellent to work with.

Have consistently had a good experience here over the years. The service is always friendly and helpful and the prices are decent. While I generally opt out of any kind of extended warranties, the road hazard warranty has paid for itself many times over. They have repaired and sometimes replaced tires due to screws, nails, or potholes.

I want to give a great shout out to Ben and the staff at Discount Tire. My first time using them in early August for 4 new tires for our Ford Edge was a breeze. Bought the tires and made an appointment online, brought the vehicle in and was on my way again in under an hour. Prices were competitive and the work was top notch. Shortly afterwards a Labor Day deal was announced and to my pleasant surprise Ben graciously honored the lower price, issuing me a refund. I don’t think you’d find that level of customer service at many other places. Highly recommend.

This location has polite and cordial employees, and they do flat repairs for FREE. Yes, you heard that right. No charge for flat repairs, as long as they can be repaired within the safety guidelines of the relevant national governing body. The only slight negatives of this location is they are pretty busy most of the time it seems, so making an appointment is crucial (and even then you may not be taken by that specific time). Also, masks do not seem to be required in the waiting area, and since two inconsiderate women were not wearing masks when I got there, I just waited outside. No biggy. Ive had good experiences with this company in another state, so I will be buying tires there the next time I need them. Thank you, Discount Tire in Cary on 55 and High House Road!

Was my first time having a flat since moving down here. Got there 20 min after they opened to a large line, learned that their computer system went down. The manager came out and thanked everyone for their patience and said he will make sure all is taken care of. I was given personal attention, everyone I interacted with was genuine. Quinn was extremely helpful and informed me that I was not charged for patching my flat tire. I will be going here for all future tire needs. Good and honest people.

All of my experiences have been very pleasant. I ran over a nail and was told by another shop that the tire would need to be replaced so I went to Discount Tire and they patched it up for free in about an hour. I highly recommend shopping here for tires.

Im hesitant to give 3 star Instead of 5 star because of one person mistake or error. Otherwise I had a very good experience with customer service. Last time I had appointment at 11:15 on September 3rd and I reach before time. Still I have to wait one and 1/2 hours more and not only that 3 customers came after me and despite their turn came earlier than me that was surprise.

Staff were very professional, hard working and accommodating. This was my first encounter with Discount Tire and they definitely earned my business!

It consistently takes at LEAST 2 hours to get literally anything done at this place. i don’t understand how they can be so slow but it doesn’t seem like they care about efficiency or customer satisfaction at all. i had a leaky tire (a seemingly easy fix) and had many people who came in after me leave far before me. Won’t ever be coming back.

By far , the WORST tire experience I’ve ever had. I got a nail in the sidewalk of my tire, it can’t be patched. Luckily , the tire is under warranty per discount , yet I ordered the tire over a week ago , called to check on it Monday. Guy said it’s still not there and somebody would call me back that day when they found out where the tire is coming from. Two days later and still haven’t heard anything… been a long time customer of discount , but after this experience they may be losing me and my family’s business. Very disappointed with this location!

Bought tires a year and half ago at good price, bought Discount Tires replacement plan to supplement Bridgestones manufacturer warranty.Recently had one of them blow out and they replaced it no questions asked - no haggling or arguing over fine-line details on warranty. Only cost was about $30 to add the warranty onto new tire - I believe this was optional.Dont normally buy replacement plan on tires but glad I did here and will do again in future. They were very friendly, replaced it same day, and with excellent service. Al even took time to explain everything and difference between manufacturers warranty and their own replacement plan and how their warranty lasts the life of the tires.Definitely recommend their replacement warranty and business. Ill be going here for all tire needs in the future!

Always quick with the free air pressure check. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I was looking to upgrade my rims / tires; they took the time to review all my ideas, give me suggestions, and help me come to a final decision. When we finally ordered, they kept me updated on the order progress (due to some factory delay not related to them), and were able to get everything installed in just a couple hours.

I am always happy with my service at Discount Tire at 55 and Highhouse in Cary! I found a nail in my tire coming home from work. They patched it and had it back to me within an hour!!! Now I don’t have to worry about how I am getting to work in the morning thanks to Mike and his crew!

Bought tires online with an appointment. Check-in was smooth and organized. Some of the comfy chairs from the waiting room had moved outside, spaced 10 feet apart. People were wearing masks and were polite. It felt low risk, and I was pleased. I was in and out in 45 minutes. They told me their goal is in and out in an hour with an appointment. I will go back next time I need tires.

I brought front tires it has warranty for 80.000 miles. Also l have paid extra for to get warranty. After exactly 11.000 miles l used tires are get very bad. I went to store to replace the tires and the store manager he said ‘warranty doesn’t not cover this’ l paid another $200 to get replace! Strongly not recommend this place stay away

I went to the store to have tires installed that I ordered. Got there at 8:30 Am for a walk in. They said my car would be ready by 10:30 got done at 10:45.

Doesnt matter the location, Discount should be your first stop on tires. Properly focused business, 1st priority is safety and 2nd is the customer and they are willing to work with you to make sure you can afford to make your car safe. They understand that if your car or you die because they cut corners to save you money means you are no longer repeat business.I was concerned the wait or process would be difficult with Covid measures but I was in and out within a half hour, they checked my tires and then rotated and balanced them for no charge. Found them living in MI, will find them wherever I go from there on.

Always great, friendly service; they repaired a damaged tire for free no questions asked; and I watched the technicians carefully hand torquing the lugs nuts on every car. The prices may be discount, but the service is first class.

Ive had nothing but good experiences at all of their shops Ive been to since then.My most recent experience at the Hwy 55 location in Cary was no different. They had me in and out in 35 minutes flat. The rep that helped me, Sinclair, was approachable, funny and made me feel important. Even though I now live in Sanford, it is still worth the short drive up here to get this customer service and superior pricing.Also, for what its worth, Discount Tire is one of the few automotive places my wife actually doesnt mind visiting for tire work. I took my fiancees car in for an oil change, and they told me there was a nail in the tire. Bummer, but Ive always been a Discount Tire customer and so I took her car in to get it looked at. They told me to my face there was no nail. I believed them and assumed the shop I took it to before were lying to me. But then when I got back, a simple visual inspection showed me...a nail. That apparently they just missed.Ive been taking all my cars to Discount Tire for years, but no more. They want me to give my fiancee a car with a nail in the tire and tell her its fine? Well take our business someplace else.Two stars because after I called them and told them they tried to make it right, but I had already decided I was done with Discount Tire.

Well after doing business with Discount for over 20 years, just sending my wife over there to buy tires two weeks ago this location didn’t just drop the ball they spiked it in their own end zone. I went in last Tuesday 9-8-20 to get my truck tires rotated and balanced, no problem there but that’s where it ends. I asked about trailer tires for my boat and we found the Goodyears I needed and they would get them ordered and have them in waiting on me the next Thursday 9-17-20 so I could get them mounted and head out on my trip. Well I called in Monday 9-14-20 only to find out they are back ordered and no bothered to call me and let me know. They wasted days that I could have been looking else where for tires and when asked about it all I got was well there are some on the west coast but that’s kinda far. YES the west coast is kinda far there Magellan, that’s WHY I ORDERED THEM 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!! But no one at DISCOUNT TIRE could be bothered to call me and let me know that the tires I needed for my trip would not be available. Hopefully this is just this location and not a sign the company is headed this way as well.

Ive used Discount Tire for years now, and Ive never had any issues. They are always nice, and very professional.I like that they will let you know if a tire is getting close to needing replacement, yet still not try pressuring you to buy.

This location is getting 3 stars. Every time I’ve been to this location I have had to make a return 80 mile trip for something they messed up. Story time; during the sale transaction the nice sales clerk Kristen had the sale ripped from her by another male associate. Strike 1; sale associate failed to order wheels, took 3 calls and a month and half of waiting for them to arrive. Strike 2; new wheels installed, tech tore the valve stem at install creating a slow leak. Strike 3; got valve stem replaced, tech destroyed/crushed TPMS sensor. Strike 4; TPMS sensor “fixed” not replaced, still not functional. Mailed me a new TPMS that a local shop installed on my own dime. Strike 5; first rotation, tech failed to install/lost a lug nut which also means they failed to torque the wheels. I usually do a walk around, due to the sky dumping I didn’t. This would have all been avoided if their attention to detail was higher. I have used discount for nearly 20 years and still stand by their core customer service values therefore I will be using a different Discount location further away in the future.Edit: Received a box of lug nuts from discount, took one out of box and threaded it on the wheel and behold, none of the lugs on that wheel had seen a torque wrench.

Purchased and mounted two new tires, broke one of the TPMS sensors in the process and said it wasnt their problem... Beware.

Discount Tire is always number one with me. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist the customer in every manner is always above and beyond. Discount Tire is my tire store as long as I need tires.

They provide free inflation. I once asked them to inflate my tires (which were replaced by them some time before). A man looking like an Asian asked me the normal pressure and did it for me. But the tire pressure low message didnt disappear after a long time. So I checked the pressures and found that they were all far below the normal pressure. That guy just pretended to inflate for me but none of the tires was sufficiently inflated! He didnt check the pressure at all. Can you expect them to do good work on your tires?

We buy all of our tires here. Their prices are great. My car seems to be a nail-magnet because I seem to get flat tires on a regular basis. I once drove up with a punctured tire as they were locking the doors. They saw me, unlocked the doors and fixed my tire. Thats the kind of thing that earns business.

Just came to get my tires I bought from here, rotated and the asian gentleman pretty much yelled at in the lobby me for having a plug in my other tire. Coercing me to buy a new tire. I told him it was fine and Ive been riding with it for thousands of miles...Then they didnt even rotate the tires. They just override whatever you say and put the best ones on the back. Everyones time wasted.

I purchased two tires from Discount Tires a month, we received excellent service. A few days ago I received an email asking me to come in for a pressure check. I went by to have the pressure checked but the young lady at the check-in told me the machine broke and it will be a few days to fix. I left , then call in and Kal told me I can get my tires checked. I shared with him what the young lady stated to my. Kal asked me to come in, He got me. Thank you Kal. Thats how you handle your customers. Great customer service. As for the young lady, she needs help and because of you I gave a low score. You need some one with excellent customer service.

They will even check your tires and fill them up for free no questions asked and no pressurey sales tactics. I go to this chain and specifically this location for any auto needs they are able to service. Will be back.

I visited the store to repair a nail in my tire. The agent, Matt, was very pleasant, honest and courteous and said he can pull the nail out in the parking lot to see if it leaks. If it does not leak, I can leave quickly and save the repair/wait time. It did not leak as the nail was very short and I was free to leave with no needed tire repair. Matt is a great role model for a service agent.

I had problems with them before with forgetting to put the caps back on the tires and returning my wheel lock. Recently though theyve been much better at attention to detail. Its a good experience overall.
