You know its sad to see what the Dept Store has turned into. I went in a Friday looking for a shirt for my son and the store looked like a ghost town- hardly anyone one there. JC Penny is one of the last Dept stores left but dont know if theyre gonna survive also. This store used to have way better selection of clothes and now is just okay- before you would buy 6-7 garments - now 1-2. Soon Everything will just be bought on-line so YOU BETTER KNOW YOUR EXACT SIZE. = O

The place could definitely use a redesign its been looking the same since I was a kid and I usually dont care about how a place looks but it just feels sad and run down, like they got a good selection of items of course but walking around it has dark pockets of the store and the tile is dirty from years of stains, just needs a revamp is all but they also got a couple helpful employees that actually take there time to help so thats a plus.

I came here just to pick up. The people that work here and who work and clothing stores act like like they dont want to work. Its not anyones fault that they aint happy with their job. Girls that work here dress up nice and feel like they are models but they just earning the minimum. Even people that work in MC Donalds are more polite and earn more. Dressing nice doesnt make you better than other people.

The Salon was a wonderful gem. I was a walk in. The young woman who did my hair did an excellent job! Next time I am in town, I will schedule myself in.

Had to buy school uniforms for my daughter and they had what we needed and the price was great! Very impressed with your store, clean and so much product.

Favorite JCPENNEY in the South Bay. Always find what we are looking for and the service provided is always great 👍.

Fantastic customer service. Cashier who helped me was named Koin. I saved 30% on my total purchase just by filling out a credit card application with JCPenney whether I qualified or not.

The experience was ok....Not bad; not great...Small selection of Levis jeans in my size (32 W), and what they did have was mainly stretch jeans.(If I wanted stretchy, Id go find leotards or yoga pants for men...but thats not my style)Store was clean & neat...floor associates stayed busy.Id return, but not likely for pants.

Clean and hand sanitizing stations well spread throughout the store. Good discounts on baby clothes. Spent less then $15

JCPenney is an establishment that has provided excellent customer service for me and has provided great discounts.

Everytime i visit sephora here everything is out. Worst part is the associates does not have a clue what they are selling they are always busy chitchatting instead of putting away displays that is not available. Its understood that its in a process of relecolation even so there is ways to make it easier for other shopper .

JCPenneys its a store to go to buy nice jewelry for his earrings bracelets and other condiments that you might need

Only 2 registers open in the whole store, jewelry wont help ring you up because the employees are too busy gossiping, workers are rude so expect below average customer service! But they had the dress I was looking for, thats the only reason for the 2 stars...

I dont know why but I went to 3 JC Pennys looking for 501 levis no stretch and all 3 only carried small sizes.. men 32 34 skinny legs.. man im not a skinny man .. and Im very disappointed with all of JC pennys.. they dont carry size 40 or up.. im 40x32 .. I feel like they are discriminating big size people.. never again will I go in there

I found some really good deals at this Penneys. I found a nice Rosetti womens backpack, regular price was $59.00. It was marked down to $23.00. went to the register and it was reduced to $9.00. what a steal!

Customer service lady was very helpful and patient while I made my purchase. She was very informative😊🥰. Only issue is I have to go back cause the watch either has no battery or its not working 🤨.

I had to do a return here and the sales guy was so nice. The refund was supposed to take 3 to 5 business days but JC Penney got it back to me the same day.

This place offers curveside pick up. Waited in car for 15 minutes just to find out we had to go in and make line for pick up. Defeats the purpose of curveside pick up. Way to go to keep us safe jc penny

I bought the two glasses for 99.00. I got an upgrade on one of pairs lenses, my total was 160 or so. That’s still a fair price for glasses. If I bought a pair of MK that would of cost me 400.00. Happy with my glasses and they work.The two ladies that wk in optical are great. Good customer service. They know how to talk to people. Helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend. Found what I wanted, since I was ordering a dress online and they told me they had plenty in stock at this store. And I needed to look for a fathers day gift any way! They did have plenty in stock and was having a really good sale and I found an extra coupon on- line so I ended up spending only $ 27 dallors for a $70 dress!!

Very clean lots of clearance items and it looks a bit empty of regular merchandise.

Came to the salon hoping to get in without an appointment for my very short hair style and Leticia was able to accommodate me. I had a picture and my hair was already washed so I was really lucky. She was knowledgable and very helpful. So glad I decided to take the chance.I showed her the pic and although its just a little shorter than I was expecting I still love it and would HIGHLY recommend her to any female looking to make the big chop!!

This Jcp always has a friendly staff. With the holiday season here, the staff has been working hard to make sure the store is neat and presentable for us customers. So far all is great.

Good Customer service toward my fiancee I wasnt feeling good that day they helped her in a timely fashion. Made her comfortable enough to continue shopping. I dont do stores were the Customer Service is poor. This is the Carson location.

Sad thing is that JCPENNEY filed Bankruptcy and is closing there doors. I remember as a child getting popcorn from the basement then walking around the store shopping. Im going to miss this store.
