This is a very large and complete garden center! They have a lot of people working there so it is easy to get help. Greenhouse Garden Center has an extensive selection of trees, annuals, and perennials. This is a great place to go!

I really LOVE going here for statuary to decorate my yard. They have a large variety of really awesome statuary and fountains, as well as a ton of different topiary and plants. I do so love most of the statuary and wish I had more yard! At the moment I only need one small piece finish one of my areas! I find the pricing very reasonable. Will be back for the small piece I need for the front, then I can start on the backyard!!!! And all the associates are fantastic !!🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Only disliked part of the service. The variety of the garden center is great, but maybe children arent allowed? Or maybe its because I was wearing shorts? Couldnt figure out the kind of Help the lady in the garden kept offering me. The cashier commented that she wasn looking forward to that: kids being kids, aka restless in a quiet place.(she gets a pass because she explained she is pregnant)....the associates in the garden loading soil and trees into our trailer were great. I was excited about a local mom-and-pop-shop that offered all the wonderful supplies to a garden but the weird attitudes of SOME of the team members helping me was off putting. Taking my money somewhere else.

I drove down from Reno today, looking to support local businesses. The plants look healthy and well cared for. I found the staff engaging and helpful. It was a pretty hot day and I had asked if it was dog friendly as most nurseries in Reno are, and they told me yes. My dog got pretty hot walking around with me. I asked the not so friendly cashier if they had water for the dogs and she said No. She could have offered to help. I left quickly to find him water. Please put out water for the dogs.

They have a nice selection but are not coordinated with processing and management. I purchased a tree that was labeled as a 25 gallon. When the tree was due to be installed the workers told me it was a 50 gallon and charged me $400 extra to plant because of its size. In speaking with the supervisor of the nursery, she apologized and said that someone could pick up the base that the tree came in so I could get $50 refund. Only today did I find that they would not give me the refund saying that they didn’t charge me correctly either! This is highly unprofessional and I don’t believe they are trying to help the customer in any way

Beautiful, wonderful place to be with the best quality of plant material and best selection of plant material, staturary, yard art, indoor decore, fertilizer, soils, pesticide. you can find in northern Nevada.

I always leave here so relaxed and happy. Everyone who works here is so knowledgeable and friendly. Their plants are always the healthiest in town. I highly recommend Greenhouse Garden!!

Everyone was so very nice and helpful. I bought 2 roses and a hollyhock. They put them in my car for me because I am handicap. Great experience.

Pull up in a truck with your trees you ordered and out of the 20 people watering not one could help the driver. You said take em back...pull off...skirt. Dust in your face by the 18 wheeler.

Fabulous Art Vendors there this weekend.

Called for a Lemon Lime Philodendren. Pepper answered and put me on hold for 15 minutes. Around that time some other lady answers and asks why Im holding. She says Your not who Im looking for and abruptly puts me back on hold. I finally hung up, called back and received Pepper again. I explain that I have been on hold for over 15 minutes and thought I might have accidentally been forgotten. I explain again what I was looking for. Pepper sighs, like Im super inconvenient and says I guess I will go out and look Uhm..... What were you doing for 20 minutes when you put me on hold? Never ever again. Pepper, please get some customer service skills.

Very cool garden center tons of beautiful statues and yard ornaments. We got some peet moss and a couple other things. I likes the Koi pond. Coming from the portland oregon area there are a lot of koi ponds up there so that was cool.

The center is beautiful with some of the most delightful decorations. My husband and I picked out some items and brought them up to the front register where we met quite possibly, the rudest cashier we have ever met in a retail setting. She acted like we had the plague (yes we were wearing masks) she was rude, spoke to me in a very rude manner and was just overall nasty. We couldnt wait to get out of there and will not be returning. Consumers have choices and especially in todays world where most retailers are going above and beyond to keep their customers happy and coming back into their stores.

I love this store and wish I could come in more often, but I cant usually make it due to the hours of operation. 9-5 is for professional services. Retail is supposed to be open at least 8-6 so that people who work 9-5 can come shop in your store without having to wait until the one weekend day youre open... You should really consider extending your hours so that you dont exclude those of us who have to work 9-5 on weekdays. I bet if you try it for a few weeks, youll see that you get a big rush between 5 & 6, and bring in more revenue. Less of your customers would be shopping at Lowes or Home Depot for the sake of convenience if you just give us the opportunity to buy from you instead.

Best place to go for all things garden. Staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. Able to grab 2 yards of bulk soil, the owner even helped us tarp the pickup. While we were there, we also got beautiful and healthy tomato plants, squash, and grapes, as well as mulch. Drove 70 minutes to get here. It is without a doubt the best garden center in the entire area.

Beautiful Christmas decorations. Was looking for a Siamese cat decoration and found a cat decorated tree. They do such a good job every year!

It was nice of their driver to pull out in front of my semi earlier. Myself and a silver car that was traveling south on Carson Street both had to slow down to avoid hitting him. Overweight driver wearing a red and black hat. Next time try stopping at the stop sign. I will never do business with this company.

Got a call at 8:30am that they were coming out to plant the tree I purchased. I asked if he could give me a window and the gentlemen said hed call me back. At around 12pm I called back to ask when I could expect them, they said theyd check and call me back, guess what? No call. At 3:45 I called and asked are they coming I rescheduled everything today for you. I got a million excuses why they couldnt give me a window of time from a rude flippant woman, its now after 5pm...they ruined my whole day. Tomorrow Ill be going in for a refund. Ill never shop there again! They dont care anything about their customers.Adding to my previous post, months before this Id gone in and ordered about 10 purple pillar hibiscus I decided after the tree fiasco I should check on this order then be done with them. I inquired with Pepper and she told me they couldnt find them anywhere. I hung up with her, went on Proven Winners plant website and bought 12 plants no problem. I noticed today when I was at Old Stonehouse nursery they had a bunch of them as well. Whats with the staff at this place?

I live in Reno butt drive down to Carson to go here. I needed to replace a tree but couldnt find what I wanted at Moana or other Reno spots. Went here and found the perfect tree. Its a variety not carried by the other places I went. Their tree prices are lower than Reno and their selection is better.They have tons of displays of fountains and garden art. More than the spots in Reno. Definitely worth the drive...

Very rude staff! Instead of nicely asking us to please give her more space she acts like we’ve had COVID and shakes her finger at the sign and tells us to back up.She rang up one of our trees twice, when we brought it to her attention she snapped at us and said we said we had two. We said we had two trees not two of the same. The tags didn’t even look the same.Every time we found something to buy we had to hunt someone down.We were buying over $500.00 worth of trees and soil, and planning to purchase at least a couple thousand more in trees and plants. I guess that’s not enough for then to care.

I woke up this morning (Saturday) to find the pump on the koi pond not working and the circuit breaker tripped. We have about 60 koi and I was concerned about their welfare with a sudden lack of oxygen. I immediately called the green house garden center when they opened at 9am. I figured that I would spend a week or two trying to find ways of incorporating oxygen until I could get this fixed. But NO they sent me Robert who arrived just a little after 10am. Robert was extremely knowledgeable and professional and had my pump replaced at around noon. Kudos to Robert and the greenhouse garden center!!!

Love this place. People actually come up to you to see if they can help, so rare these days! Theyve always given me great advice and helped me handle my aphid problem.

Beautiful, garden center, great statues for purchase, water fountains and a very nice selection of plants. Great help from the people working there. Loved it. And my mom bought a beautiful butterfly bush with lovely purple flowers and will come back each year once planted.

Everyone that I spoke with was cheerful and helpful... They made exchange on a plant that I purchased they did not have to with the situation but they did. Very grateful for that! I would definitely give the people 5 stars! I think the plants are fairly priced but I think decorations are a bit pricey... I did purchased a bench that they had which had a little bit of damage to it and they took a percentage off which was very nice. I do wish they had more registers make check out a little faster I have difficulties standing in place for that long... there are a few nurseries closer to me that I could go to but I love how they have the yard set up with the fountains going and decorated aisles... so calming...!

They have So much stuff... Our purchases include a tree, lady bugs, praying mantises, bulk soil, water stick, insect repellent, root grower helper, plus other odds and e ends. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Per them: if youre having an issue with your plant, take a picture of it instead of trying to describe it... Which makes sense to me... Diagnosing a plant issue while a non plant person tries to use words is very difficult. Happy planting yall!

Pretty store. Nice selection. Knowledgable staff. However, they dont stand behind their products. We purchased four berry plants there a few days ago. Two flourished. Two died. They took back the dead plants with a 50% refund. In processing the refund, the manager was unfriendly, accepted no responsibility for having placed the plants in pots that were too small, and made us feel guilty like we killed the plants. Beautiful store but wont shop there again.

I love going to Greenhouse Garden Center. It is set up so nicely and just goes on and on! Their displays are done so nice and not just at the front door. They have displays of flowers throughout the center. The staff is so friendly and helpful too. A great place to spend some time!Lori McDonald

I am a big fan of this Greenhouse. I buy succulent cactuses, during the beginning of the year the greenhouse has metal art suns, moons decorations, glazed planter pots.Great selection overall. Gives a military discount on products.

My family and I have been shopping here since the late 90s. Their people were botanists. The owner, Dave is good people. Any time weve had a problem, they rectified it. Weve bought roses, trees, fruit plants-- strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries, grapes, fruit trees, bug chemicals, and liquid fertilizer from them. Ill agree theyre a little pricey, but well worth it.

Ive only been living here 22 months. The employees are wonderful & very knowledgeable. Their great advise keeps my yard, shrubs & flowers looking beautiful. Their plants for purchase are the best around.

We just had our backyard landscaped by the Greenhouse Garden Center and if you are thinking of having anyone else do your job, take a moment to read this review and then quickly call Greenhouse and hire them. They were the best!! Lisa was there from the beginning to the end of the job and could not have been more helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable about design and plants and without her input, I know we would have made major mistakes. Pancho, who laid our patio pavers and built our retaining wall is a true artist. Ellen, who was our contact for scheduling was great and all the helpers on the job were fantastic. Everyday, when they left the worksite, the entire area around our house was left spotless. I cannot say enough great things about Greenhouse. They may be a little more expensive than the other landscapers but, in my opinion, they are worth every penny.

Greenhouse Garden Center is a well oiled machine. Whenever we visit Carson, we stop here. Its full spectrum plants, garden supply, knick-knacks and phenomenal garden sculptures and accent pieces. The people seem friendly and they know their universe. They are not at a loss for anything within their gates. They are running a business. This is not a discount garden center. My chief regret is that so far we havent found a money tree to buy much stuff here. If we did, we would. We mostly come here for a nice walk, browsing and for creative nudging. Its an impressive operation. I dont think many nurseries in this area come close to this place.
