This was the first bad meal Ive ever had there, and it just wasnt good. Even the dessert wasnt good.

Good homestyle food. Worked next door for a while and never could figure out where it was. Not well marked. Its the door that isnt Sammys or the gas station, but in that same building. Met family there for lunch. We all had the lunch special plate with meatloaf. It was tasty. The potatoes could use a pinch if salt. Liked that the peach cobbler came with it. Friendly staff. Saw at checkout that they have a drive thru. Wish they served breakfast all day. It ends at 1030am on weekdays and 1130am on weekends. Will definitely go back.

Went a few years ago and its still as good today. Hamburgers are the best to me from here but their breakfast is just as good. Staff is friendly and upbeat. Great food and great hospitality all around. Great place to take the family. Even kids.
This place is like nostalgia to me. Southern cooking with southern staff in an old time southern place. No chain restaurant can beat it.
Roaches were everywhere and didnt see them until AFTER WE ATE.When complaining to management she brushed it off by saying she just went to Home Depot for spray because exterminators didnt work!Never EVER going back!

Southern home cooking at its best! Diner felt like coming home for a visit and all your favorite foods were ready when you got up for breakfast that 1st morning. Food was simply prepared but very delicious! Portions were spot on for the price, which also was very nice. Waitress was attentive and caring even though they were extremely busy. I will eat here again and recommend you trying this place out the next time you want a good home cooked meal but cant make it home. Theyll take care of you like family!

Great tasting home cooked meals that are affordable. Great service too! Big selection and/or choices. Your choices include healthy options too which are hard to find at other places. Prices are very affordable. Would recommend to anyone.

I was with others, so went along with the dining choice. I am so glad that I did! I started going to Maple Street as a young child with my parents and even grandparents for Saturday morning breakfast. Now as an adult with a family of my own I enjoy taking my kids here. The staff is friendly and it is fun seeing familiar faces everytime you go. My kids love eating veggies there and I am never disappointed with my cheese burger and sweet tea.

Great breakfast biscuit sandwiches! They never get my order wrong at the drive-thru window. The ingredients are okay... Not always the most gourmet. However, their buttermilk biscuits are among the best biscuits served in this town.

We LOVE the Diner! We started going when we moved to Carrollton, around 3 years ago, and we try to go every Saturday now. It has become such a core part of our lives that our daughter knows the names of the lovely people who work there, and wakes up excited to go every Saturday.The food is excellent! We mostly eat breakfast, and it stacks up in quality higher than any other breakfast place. Its miles ahead of Waffle House and IHOP, and comes out significantly CHEAPER than any other breakfast place Ive found. I dont often eat the lunch, but I can say enough good things about their burgers at least; they are among the best in town.Thanks everyone at the Diner for holding such a special place in our lives!

A breakfast eatery is a morning eye opener for the haft asleep! No restaurant that Ive found has served eye opening food since Popa Petes Kitchen in this area, all have tried all have failed.He served breakfast, lunch was an after thought. Maple Street food is an after thought.

I have been going to MSD for as long as I remember. My dad has been going so long he calls it by its original name, Pollards. They have thever best biscuit you will ever have in your life. I swear by it. Anything you order will be amazing. And I think the fact that it us attached to a gas station is great. It makes it more if a hole in the wall and it makes it easier for me to keep its location a secret cause only certain people deserve to enjoy their food. Especially those biscuits.

We were passing through Carrollton and happened upon this small local place. Dont be put off by the fact that it is attached to a gas station... what it lacks in curb appeal it more than makes up for in delicious home cooking at very reasonable prices!I had a hand made sausage patty, egg and cheese on a home made biscuit sandwich, and cheesy hash browns that were PERFECT! My wife had the special mexican omelette (dont know if this is there every day, as it was on a chalkboard and not on the menu), and she loved that too. We left with empty plates, full stomachs, and big smiles to start our day. Ill definitely be going back if Im ever in the area.If you are in Carrollton and looking for breakfast, forget the cookie-cutter franchise places. Do yourself a favor and go eat breakfast prepared like your granny used to make (or like you wish she did!)
