This is the absolute best place to take your car for your automotive needs. Put the synthetic blend in my 2020 Honda Civic Si and it only cost $24. I was outta there in 20 minutes.

Not a good place for complex repair. They talk you into changing things you do not need, wipe the engine light off. As soon as you drive out of the lot the light comes back on. Beware of their long conversation. It is all b.s. not a good place for complex repair. Not a good place for complex repair. Spent almost a 1000$ for a simple repair here and they did not fix. But made me buy a lot of things that I did not need. I dont review a lot but avoid this place if you have engine light on and want to fix. I told him I think the fuel pump was bad. He said no and worked on other things. After 24 hours and 1000$ charge. He said maybe the fuel pump is bad. Commission based mechanic. Not going here again.

Probably one of the best Car Repair experiences I’ve ever had truly the guys are a class act super honest I dropped off my classic 1973 Mercedes with a small exhaust leak for them to look at after checking it out and giving me an estimate we made an appointment for the work to be done a couple days later I brought in the car and while working on it and the car being so old it required more work than initially expected they completed all the work kept me informed daily and kept the original estimate of what they quoted me. I can’t thank them enough. You don’t find shops like this around anymore

Took my car in for a second opinion after getting an unbelievable repair estimate from a new car dealer.As I expected, the dealers detail were wrong (I think they were trying to charge for repairs that shouldve been warranty).Candrell spent nearly an hour, have me a write up if their findings, a told me to return to the dealer to make sure they covered the work as a warranty issue.Bob and his team were extremely professional and didnt charge me for their time.Glad to have such a great business nearby!

Absolutely do not go here... they used to be named andrells car care until they were forced to shutdown and instead of doing that, they changed their name. My ex took her car there for an oil change and after that about 2 days later the motor blew up. Got her another car and told her absolutely do not go there again. I was working at autozone one day and the owner came in to buy rotors for a customer. They were 49.99 each, he asked me to print out a receipt showing they were 149.99 each. Fast forward a few months my ex took the car I bought her back to the place for an oil change and THAT motor blew a few days later also...

For a locally owned independent shop, this place was truly disappointing. I delivered the car to them as soon as they opened, and after explaining what I needed fixed, they responded like they couldnt be bothered. Still, hoping for the best, and having provided them the engine code and precise part which needed replacing, we left our car with them. Several hours later, at 11:30 I called only to be told they will get to it after lunch. Hearing nothing, I call back at 4:45pm only to be told they did not get a chance to look at the car. Oh and by way....we close at 5:00 pm.

Use with caution. I have over 18 years of automotive service experience so after an ex-coworker passed away I tried this place. I thought if I go in and sound like I know what Im talking about I wouldnt get the experience I ended up with. Took my very well maintained 01 sequoia for an oil change and wanted to take advantage of the A/C service special they were offering. I fully stated the A/C works fine and to just check freon and make sure the compressor has oil in it. They called a couple of hours later to try and inform that my system was completely empty and obviously had a major leak. Couldnt be more wrong. I took it elsewhere and received the service I expected. A/C system works fine.

This place is awesome been going for 5 years to keep up the oil change and maintenance on my car. They are thorough and there is usually wait especially if you make an appointment. Reliable auto care.

Took my car in because the AC was acting up. They informed me that the radiator Fan Assembly was shot abd the fan motor was fried. They replaced the assembly and explained the costs. My cars assembly had a computer module in it which made is more expensive. The guys are honest and got my car back to me the same day, even though it was Saturday. Definitely would take my car back again.

Let me start this off by saying I rarely write reviews. I replaced the upper and lower intake gaskets on my 2001 Silverado. When I put everything back together I was getting a timing error code (P1345). I normally do all the work on my own but I didnt have the computer to reset the timing. There wasnt very much information online and even when I went in they werent sure how exactly to do it. Told me it would cost me $90 for them to fix the issue. He also said that if he couldnt fix the issue he wouldnt charge me anything. I received a phone call from the owner (originally talked to a someone different). He said it would cost an additional $89 to fix the issue, the first $89 was for the diagnostic test. I politely explained to him what the previous employee had quoted me and he honored it no questions asked. Ive been driving my truck now for just under a week and the error code has not reappeared. I thought they were very professional and friendly. If I ever have to take my truck in again for any engine work I will take it back to Candrell. Hes been there since 1987 for a reason.

What I moved to the city it was tough to find a mechanic I felt I could trust, but I definitely trust​ Crandells. Ive been to other places and was told if I didnt do this or that my car was going to fall apart. They tell you that it needs to be done eventually but dont put pressure on you. They have the BEST DEAL on oil change ($19.95), and when you pay its $19.95+tax, not $19.95 plus $15 of service fees. Plus their is always a lot of classic hot rods getting worked on which tells me that real car people know that Crandells is the place to go. Oh, and a great waiting room as well.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at Candrell and I must post about it. We took my wifes Chevrolet Malibu there because it was having trouble starting and they said theyd call later in the day with the diagnosis. Not only did they not call, 2 days later I still hadnt heard anything so I called them. They tried to tell me about the brakes not working and several other things and said theyd fix it all for $4000. THE CAR ISNT EVEN WORTH THAT, plus I specifically told them we need the started replaced, nothing about the brakes. When I told them over the phone to just fix the starter, the man was very short with me. I decided to go get the car so we went back up there and they said it cost $250 just to look at all the problems the car had. I never authorized them to look at anything but the starter. I had no choice but to pay the $250. I took it to Firestone and they replaced the starter for a total of $350. Thats all I wanted Candrell to do.

I cant trust any other shops out there as far as I can throw them, but these guys here have a pretty honest shop. My family and I have been going here for years. Thank you for never taking too, too much of my money

If I could give them no stars I would. Overcharged for the work and it was not done right. Would not warranty the work. $400 to replaced thermostat and flush coolant. Coolant not flushed. Thermostat went bad in less than a year.

I needed to get a hub bearing assembly replaced. Candrell was $110 dollars cheaper than 2 other places that I have used in the past in town. And the part/manufacturer was exactly the same! I know this because I got the part nbr/manufacturer on the other quotes. The lady at service desk was very friendly. So instead of paying $450, I paid 340.

Went there to have a pre-buy inspection. They told me certain things we wrong. I had a second opinion and some of those things were validated from that second opinion.

Run far away from this place. Car started making noises after they fixed my rear breaks. First time they were helpful and found that one of the bolts they reused was coming off so they took care of the issue. It started again and the second time they were not as friendly. Even though it was the same issue they couldnt find the problem this time and started saying it was something else. The biggest issue I had was how I was treated by the manager named Bob. When I told him I didnt appreciate how he hung up on me earlier because we werent in agreement on what they were finding. He then raised his voice and yelled and cursed at me. Have never been treated like this from a business. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

I used to go to them when they had a different manager, but never again. The last time I went, they suggested I replaced a few things that didnt need replacing and I was just there for some routine maintenance. (I checked with another mechanic who I trust more about those things and they suggested lower costing repairs that would fix the problem theyd previously created.) On top of which, they caused more damage to my car than was there originally. I just spent 500 odd on fixing my rear brakes after they incorrectly replaced them less than a year ago. I will never go back.

My experiences with Candrell Car Care have been very good, the last being exceptional. Candrell went beyond what was expected of them, even working after posted hours of operation to get my car back to me on a Saturday, so I could have my car ready to roll Monday morning at 7:00 am! Candrells staff did quite a bit of work trying to find the right fit for my car before they were even paid and only had very few hours to get it done. THEY GOT IT DONE!!!!! Candrells staff picked me up form my home with my car fully operationable after they closed. I highly recommend Candrell. I also want to say they are very fair with their pricing and do not take advantage of female customers. Although I am not sure how to put the stars on this site, but out of 5 stars, I give them 10!

Ok so car driving differently, came home pop hood, they pull H2O in radiator-over flow empty put in anit freeze to fill reserve - top not on either oil or brake fuild can not really tell which one,so screwed top back on.,spend over 600.00 and you still need to check things out your self
