I bought an engine over 4K on August 19, 2021, the engine was delivered 3 days later with a huge crack. Company said it would send a technician in 2 days to investigate the problem, the technician appeared 20 days after the agreement, my mechanic and the gray & white company agreed that my own mechanic would fix the problem and they would reimburse me for my mechanics service. After my mechanic fixed the crack, the engine still didnt work. Ive been trying to fix my car for almost 2 months and I cant get anyone at the company to solve the problem. Worst experience possible.

I have searched for over a month for the turbo that they had and I had it within a couple of days. The experience was AMAZING and I will get all of my used auto parts from them from now on. Great experience and customer service was on point. Thank you.

I called and asked about a transmission, salesman said it was on shelf so I rented a truck to pick it up and when I get there I wait roughly an hour for them to find it come to find out it was no where to be found. Also didnt tell me until I got there that the transmission had damage to the guide holes. Traveled an hour and rented a truck for nothing. Highly DONT recommend.

Purchased an engine from them.The first engine had a hole in the oil pan, sent it back.The second engine that sent out was a truck engine.It wouldnt interchange with my Dodge Charger.The third engine they sent out after getting the engine started it started knocking and smoking time it was crunk up.We put zero miles on the motor and they said because the motor had a heat tab on it showing the motor reached 240 degrees, they wouldnt replace or give my $2725.00 back.They are flat out beating people.It is sad that a company like this is getting away with taking peoples money.They will not respond to BBB neither.

I was coming from Birmingham Alabama. Called them like 5 times making sure that I would be able to pick up my part at 17.20, it is 10 minutes before they closed. They said that your part is ready and you will be fine. But when I came at 17:20, they said they need at least one hour to pull this part out. Crazy, they lie all the time. That was my third junkyard with people who cannot stop lying to others!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE !!! They will lie and tell you they have a part, give you a confirmation number and you will drive an hour, be made to wait 30 minutes to be told they don’t have the part!!! And not offer any apologies. They are not a reliable place.

I drove almost an hour to get here and after ordering, sitting and waiting for 20 mins, they tell me they forgot that it had been cored out. Only thing they could say is sorry sir. Terrible business.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. My son bought an engine from them that has NEVER worked. The car sat at the shop for over a month not being able to be moved. Upon suggestion by the shop owner, we had the car towed to the dealership. The dealership told us both verbally and in writing the engine was bad. After speaking with the technician Gray and White sent out, it was confirmed the engine is bad BUT the mileage reported is 4000 over what it was when the engine was purchased. The car has not left the lot only to be towed to the dealership. The mileage claim is a complete lie. While talking to Billy, a service rep at Gray and White, he said my son called “200 times asking all types of stupid questions”. Well when you spend $1277 for something that does not work no question is stupid. So now we will seek legal action as well as contact every source available, such as news stations, as many social media groups as possible, BBB and Attorney General let it be known that this company does not stand behind its parts and DOES NOT Value their customers!! We still have find another company with good parts for the repair. Horrible experience!!

It wasnt convenient for me to be there. They are located in a small town. A little bit remote to me since I live in downtown Atlanta. But I am glad that I went there. They have a huge yard, many many cars. They were so nice to me. I was looking for Honda wheels and tires. They were the only one who told me the condition of the tires. When I arrived there, they even helped select the best tires for me. They also gave me the lug nuts for free. Not even that, when they heard that I was a student and have my wheels stolen, they even gave me a lock for free... Very touched. Money is not the only thing they pursue. They have very good hearts. The Carrollton location need a different parts selling Technique. The problem is when you call gray & white a part person answer and give you a quote number to get your part. 9 times out 10 its the wrong part or they do not have it when you get there. Or the part is bad. This happens to me 4 consecutive times. I had to drives 20 miles one way. I suggest returning to the old way of selling parts. Walk to the counter and order your part. Please keep used parts selling simple. Its make good business sense. I have been a gray & White customer for over 17 years and this the worst buying experience I have ever had at a Salvage yard..

Terrible service. Misrepresented the item I tried to by on the phone. After driving 4 hours to pick it up I found an obvious problem but didnt want to fairly discount the price for repairs. Buyer beware!!!

Dont even deserve 1 star. 1st off their customer service is bad, front counter lady has a ugly attitude and is rude. Goofs in the shop won’t even look me in the face when they talk to me like I’m some bum they wanted to leave. I would’ve thought with me buying a $8000 engine they would be somewhat courteous. Some sales guy had been texting me back to back the previous days with a whole bunch of questions day after day, after 8k was transferred, it’s like he forgot who I was and never replied since to any of my questions regarding shipping. He got what he wanted. 2nd time coming here and It’ll be my last for sure. And they better hope and pray this engine runs 😤.

STAY AWAY FROM GRAY AND WHITE! They do NOT I repeat do NOT value their customers. I bought an engine from these guys for over $1200 dollars and it has never worked.Towed it to the dealership and IT WAS PROVEN that they sold me a BAD MOTOR.NOW, they want to say that I or somebody has driven the car because it has 4,000 extra miles on it and it out of warranty which is a LOAD OF CRAP because the car has been sitting mechanics shop where I attempted to have it replaced for over 6 weeks and they have complained that the engine was knocking and leaking oil.I spent $1277 on this and I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. Just a bad motor in the car and they dont want to give me ANY MONEY BACK. Legal action is going to do the trick because theyre a JOKE OF A COMPANY. PERIOD!

This place is a complete RIP OFF!!! My brother bought an engine from them and they refused to honor the 90 day warranty. Billy, the sales rep said the car had been driven 4000 in a month according to the mileage they put in for his car. When, in fact, the car was NEVER repaired nor taken off the repair shop lot except when towed to Lexus where he was told the engine was knocking. The car hasn’t been driven but the warranty states 90 days. The car has sat for 5 weeks, immobile yet well under 90 days. Horrible place ripping off younger customers who Billy even said he asked “stupid questions”. $1277 for a nonworking part...no question is stupid

I had a wonderful experience ordering parts. The salesman Aamir was very helpful and thorough. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the exact parts we needed.

I called the Atlanta location but the parts I needed were at this one in Carrollton & they said it would take them a week to get to the Atlanta location so I drove an hour & a half just get the parts paid the $400 for parts and waited an hour. They have workers walking around talking to each other but none actually working. A hot mess. Next time I know just to go to the dealership

For those who complaint about this place go to the dealer and get a 5 star staff with free coffee and kids play room, this is a junk yard get what you need pay and leave. My transaction was fine, bought an engine paid and left... No kisses no hugs !!!

Called these guys hoping they had my part and they didnt. The representative spend 10 minutes on the phone with me trying to find the best part for the cheapest price elsewhere. Ended up buying the part I needed 15 minutes later for the cheapest price I have seen anywhere.

I called every auto part salvage in North Georgia and even Fagans in Alabama. Everyone was so rude to me except Noelle at Gray and White. She found me the exact parts I needed and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire buying process. Payment was easy with an invoice sent to my email and a PayPal type account. I will continue to use them for everything automotive I need in the future. Highly recommend them.

These guys are very arrogant and unprofessional. When I walked in, it was almost like I was disturbing them, and no one ever asked if they could help me. When I did find the part I was looking for, on my own of course, their used price was more than what I eventually bought on eBay a week later that was NEW. Used parts are supposed to be cheaper. Not here. Its a junk yard for Gods sake! Ill never go there again. They dont care though, Im sure. How could one little guy affect that huge business? But they have one less customer, I guarantee you that.

I called requesting a alloy rim for an 08 Pontiac G8 GT & was told they had several on hand & it would be $75.00. Drove 35+ miles out there only to find my order was never written down nor pulled. I waited well over 2+ hours & once it was time to pay, I was told the plain steel rim started out at $125.00 & the alloy rim I was requesting was no less than $150.00 plus a core.... What? A core WTH? Anyways I walked away laughing with my money & 20 mins later bought an entire set of alloy wheels off Craigslist for $175.00. This place is nothing short of a waste of time. Now I understand all the jokes other have made in reference to gray & white. I wont waste my time or money ever again!

Placed an order with Joe and Joe never put the order in. So when I get there I had to place an order by calling the number from there LOBBY because they dont sale over the counter.On top of this I waited 1.5 hours and still had no parts. When I asked, I was told the yard truck had to have tires put on it. What place has 10 people walking around doing nothing. One was asleep in the chair in the office.I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE STAFF ACRS AS IF THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN. THEY DO NOTHING TO HURRY THE PROCESS ALONG.

This place does not value you or your time. I needed a wheel for a 2013 Dodge Advenger I called yesterday and was told they had the wheel I needed, my wife called again today to make sure they still had the wheel, the call center transferred her to the actually shop and she spoke with Chris who told her they still had the wheel, she told them we were on our way down but we lived over 2 hours away, he said that was fine. I get off work early and drive with a cracked wheel to purchase the replacement and get there and I wait approx. 30 mins while they go get the wheel to then find out they dont have one. Remember I called twice to confirm they had the part and adviced how far I was coming from. I didnt get an apology or nothing. Dont waste your time with these guys instead go to Bells Auto which you pass on your way into this place. Bells treated me right and made up for this place poor customer service.
