By far the most impressive Asian market in the northern metroplex. This location has it all- Asian goods and American goods, a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, and seafood, an impressive array of Asian drinks and snacks, and more! All at relatively good prices. I recently explored many of the Asian stores in the area and this location provided practically everything I was looking for. The store is massive. I feel as if almost any family could happily shop here for groceries, but it would also make for a great outing to have fun, explore the store, and pick up some new snacks to try!If youre looking for a place to get Asian ingredients, snacks, and foods, this is the place!

Great place to visit if you have never been to an Asian mart, this place is HUMONGOUS! So many snacks are here and I live for the snacks! There is also a few spots to eat inside, like a restaurant, a random French bakery, a sushi and to-go station and a poke station. The alcohol section is smaller than I would like and I did not come to an Asian mart for barefoot wine hahaha. I can not wait until I am in the position to spend $70 on grapes. Will come back to try the food!

Wow!!! This place far exceeded our expectations. Even on a Monday, this place was alive and busy. There were so many staff willing to help, they have several mall style shops, a food court, and a huge selection of Asian products. It felt like we were visiting Korea. For example, if you want fish, they have the biggest selection I have ever seen. They even have a Poke station. There prices seem very reasonable too. In terms of meats, they have many options including Wagyu beef. 5⭐

The selection and quality of items they have are phenomenal and super large location. It was fun trying things from a different country. The experience alone was interesting to see fresh seafood and the king crabs.

I work late, so I was delighted to find that this store was still open when I need it to do some late-night shopping before the weekend got started. Their prices are much better Teso Life across the street.(no shade, sorry)Ive been shopping a lot out that way lately( I live in Fort Worth) and I compared some of my receipts and wow! I really got price gouged at the other place.Fortunately, H Mart has a big variety of items AND very affordable prices!👌 I know where my return shopping trips will be...H MART!😉Edit: I have been back twice since my first post in August. The bakery has lots of really yummy pastries. My favorite ones are the garlic bun and the morning bread. You can pull it apart and share with your friends or family. They also have a delicious sandwich on toasted bread. Quality Ingredients that are FRESH!!! 😋 The only bad thing is that you may have to wait until 10am for all of the items to be out on display.

This place is a family favorite!! All of our favorite staples for Korean BBQ, and so much more! Fantastic produce selection, and very well priced. The meat selection is devine, and plenty of the seafood is so fresh, its still swimming. Incredible.condiment selection, and a snacks and treats section to swoon over. There is a fresh bakery/tea/coffee spot right inside that we always forget to try, but it looks AMAZING!

Ive been to the H-Mart in GA so while I was in town, I wanted to check out the one in Dallas/Carrollton. Its in the heart of Korean town and the parking was crowded on a Saturday morning.Upon entering the store, they offer you gloves to explore the store. The store layout was very tight, I felt almost claustrophobic. They have a lot of variety when it comes to fruits and at a great price that you couldnt find at other oriental stores nearby. They also have a lot of cooked foods and side dishes for sale. Their food was okay. We got the spam with rice, it had a lot of sesame oil.The aisles were also very tight and you almost had to turn to go through around people. They had a lot of options but its definitely smaller than the one in GA. I prefer that one instead.

Incredible grocery store with indoor spaces for smaller local shops. This was my first visit and I was overwhelmed by the selection. I’m definitely going back! Make sure to carve out time to explore everything!

Lovely, densely stocked Asian market with a wide variety of imports and domestic favorites in the Asian category. Everything from mochi to sesame buns to ramune to soy sauce can be found here, and it includes a market with FRESH (theyre alive in the tanks) fish. Also contains a small sit-down establishment on the far back right of the main entrance. Wide variety of produce, as well, including fruits and veggies you WONT find at Walmart.

Pretty cool store. I like that they were opened late. Plenty of things to look at and many interesting finds. My daughters wanted boba and Macaroons.

If you can handle the smell, there is everything you can think of in this store. Very good varieties of fresh seafood. Communication may be a bit challenging with guys at seafood stall. Store is generally clean. Location is not hard to find at all.

This is my happy place. The fruit here is always fresh so are vegetables. But my absolute favorite thing to get here is roasted sweet potatoes. Yum yum yum. I also love their snack aisle. The party mix, spicy chips and seaweed are delishhhh

It’s hit or miss but it’s easy to get a lot of stuff here if you know what you’re looking for. The staff is not exactly the best with customer service, but the location and ingredients are convenient and it doesn’t bother me. Just make sure that the fruit you pick out is fresh as well as the meats/seafood, and always check the dates on things. I love so many things here though for the most part!

The family and I went here just wanting to expand out dining and cooking experiences. We were blown away by the selection they have on the shelves. The mini food court was worth the trip by itself, but we stocked up on tons of foods we have never tried and old familiar favorites. All types of Asian cuisine was available and the fresh produce and meat market was on par with some of the HEB.

I loved it! So much stuff that I havent seen before. Great meats, fruits, veggies, and prepared foods to go.Also, a food court in a grocery store?Located next to a lot of Korean dining And shopping. An interesting area to explore In DFW for non-Texan culture.

Probably the best place for fresh produce and meat. Their selection of produce is huge, it is clean and freshly packed. They are little more expensive than the other grocery places but its worth it. They also have a huge selection of seafood and a food court. I love this place but since I live a little far out, it takes me 35 to 40 minutes, but I still make it twice a month.

Absolutely love Hmart!!! Plenty of selections and ethnic choices. Plus the food court has plenty of options for the entire family.

Wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at the amount and variety of items available! The food court was incredible, the whole place was clean and well lit, there were other shops attached to the store and then a whole plaza surrounding the store with more restaurants. It was a bit of a trek for us to visit, so it was dissapointing to get back home and realize some of the things we bought werent as fresh or good as we had hoped they would be, but we look forward to going again.

My friends and I love shopping at H-Mart! We regularly shop here because of the variety of produce and the quality seafood. We love coming to this store to try different goodies. This store is always clean and I’ve never seen an empty shelf. The employees are very polite and extremely helpful. They’ve done a fantastic job with implementing changes that follow social distancing requirements. Complimentary gloves and hand sanitizer at the entry. I also recommend visiting the food court because there are so many delicious choices! A trip to H-Mart is never disappointing.

So much variety to choose from, if your a lil indecisive like me, you’ll end up buying more things than u planned! This place is pretty awesome! And it’s surrounded by so many other shops you can spend hours here if you appreciate Korean culture and cuisine. The food court has delicious food. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was well worth it!

I love this place to get all of my Asian ingredients & produce. However, I avoid the busy hours to avoid the crowds & the mess it could have. What’s nice is that they have a reward card system, & I was able to exchange $50 worth of “bucks”. (^_^)

Can you find rare products? yes but so can you at Carrollton plaza, asian market. Everything is overpriced, specially the meat, and quality is not always the best here. I would recommend that you are very careful when ordering fish at the meat department. They will try to cheat you! You order a fish but they always grab and drop two fishes at the person who is cutting the fish. A big one and a small one. Why? They weight the big one, and charge you, but cut the small one. You en up getting the small fish bit pay for the large one. They did it to me. I am pretty sure that management is promoting this. Be Careful! I dont come here anymore.

I have been shopping at H-mart for over 5 years now. The food court is wonderful, specifically the dumpling place. The vegetables are always fresh and the best value around. The store is organized well. It can be a bit cramped when it gets busy but its definitely my favorite place to shop

The perfect place for everything I need. They have the full assortment of meats, sea food (some live / some fresh), vegetables and anything else I need for Korean cuisine eating. They also have Indian, Chinese, and Japanese aisles. They have housewares, a cosmetics store, a toy store, a French bakery, and several very delicious restaurants inside. I wish I could give this place 10 stars

Its a really big store with produce, meat, seafood, imported goods, hygiene products, etc. Huge selection and good quality. Fairly clean, though the fish area will smell, I found my favorite tea there and saw that they had a restaurant and clothes/tech stores inside too. I went on a weekend and it was popular with a lot of people. I recommend.

I love this place so much! We dont have one in San Antonio. The selection are beautiful, everything is organized and we even found some goya products., Oh the produce is amazing and a must to take home.

I shopped at H Mart in a different city all the time with no issues. On my 3rd visit to this location we purchased fresh produce. After getting home (over an hour’s drive) I noticed that one piece of produce my daughter had gotten was molded. I called the store and explained to the lady that it was molded and that I did not live nearby and it would be a few days before I could return (this means more mold growth) for a refund. She just kept saying “okay” then told me to “have fruit and receipt” for a refund. I finally made it to do the return and the man pushed the fruit back at me saying he couldn’t take it because he can’t resell it. I told him that I called beforehand, explained the situation, and that I was told to still bring it back with my receipt. I showed my phone to prove the day I had called and the man, accompanied by a lady and finally another man kept insisting they cannot resell it because it is bad (again, that’s why I was bringing it back). I got very upset and told them I was told to bring it back with a receipt for a refund. Eventually, they took the product and gave me an in store credit (maybe about 5 minutes of back and forth arguing with me). Had they given me my cash back I would have never shopped there again. Since I was given in- store credit I used it and they will never see me again. On top of telling me it was fine to bring the molded product back with my receipt (instead of just needing pictures) and then arguing with me, they resell returned produce/products! (Which was the basis of their argument - not being able to resell it because it was molded) I would not want to eat fresh fruit or produce that had been in someone else’s home for x amount of days then put back on the shelf. They don’t know how I cared for that product. I could have left it in the hot sun or any other inappropriate temperature or even injected it with something. Good to know that about them. But again, my first time returning something after following their instructions and they argue with me. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. I pay for quality products and customer service and they failed to deliver.The pictures I have added has these smaller specks of white mold that are in various places (likely due to them wrapping it in plastic trapping in moisture). Once they said they still wanted the moldy fruit back even though it would be the following week before I could return (which meant even more mold growth, I put it in a bag to keep as much mold from being exposed to us as possible). The second picture is more nasty mold all over that all could have been prevented if they would have just asked for pictures or simply done a refund or even in-store credit since the lady was aware that it would be a week before I could return and that we were talking about mold.

This place is an absolute zoo on the weekends, in the best way. Very crowded but the selection is fantastic and they are well stocked. Practically everything on the shelves is Korean, Japanese or Chinese. If you are looking for a unique shopping experience or a hard to find ingredient for your recipes, this place probably has it.

This place is so cool! Authentic and had a ton of selections for different Korean foods and such. I got a big container of home made kimchee for four bucks. Yum!!!!

I have always love H mart. It is one of the cleanest groceries chain that I know of. I always send my friends here if they are new to asian foods. Aside from that, an awesome bakery in the front and deli in the store. Also got food court to the right side with plenty to choose from!!

The actual H mart was great! I loved the selection of items and didn’t have a hard time finding the groceries I needed. However, at the back entrance of the store there was a boutique with the absolute WORST customer service. The lady at the front was RUDE and suspicious of my friend and I as we were simply scanning the display items. I do NOT recommend supporting that business. The lady had short red hair and confronted us when I picked up an item to hold for a moment. 0/10 for that boutique. The rest of the store was excellent.

One of my favorite Asian markets! It has a lot of interesting items and several tiny shops in the building, mostly Korean stuff. The food court has good food. Huge varieties of Asian restaurants around the area too. We always come back when we are in town!

Clean, neat, and an abundance of variety throughout the store. Vast amount of produce, tanks of seafood at the seafood counter, as well as., frozen food aisles with weekly specials that triple any typical grocery store. You will find anything you need from prepared foods. Food kits to make, or all the ingredients to make your favorite Asian meal. The prices are low and the quality of items is high. Dont miss this opportunity to try to get items you cant get at a local grocery.

I lived in Korea for a couple of years and I love heading out to H-Mart. I only wish they would open up a location in Fort Worth or Arlington as this is a huge drive.

A variety of products and one stop shopping

Is exactly what I want from my local H Mart. I go there about every 2 weeks and enjoy it every time I go.i dont do too much shopping there, but really enjoy going to their Cafe section and trying new foods. They recently lost a couple restaurants unfortunately but a new one has popped up, so looking forward to trying that place out soon.

Great place to shop for Asian food. It is a Korean grocer chain, however it serves as a pan-East Asian supermarket. This particular store in Carrollton Texas has a food court along the wall. Mr. Dumpling serves a dozen variety of hot dumplings.

Everyone there is pretty helpful. I wish management would improve in ordering C2 lemon green tea and O2 canned drinks. Sometimes the veggie ramen that I love is out too. Besides that everything is good

Didnt have everything but had good selection. The market is clean. If you in the area for Asian grocery, H Mart is a good start.

Store required masks. Was clean and crowded. Produce abundant and fresh looking. Found what we went for plus some (standard for us).

December 1, 2020I thought I would try a pre-made korean seafood rice porridge today to find out how good or bad it is, and its absolutely terrible with no flavor or salt or any of the seafood ingredients in the bag. It looks nothing like the picture on the front of the bag. Its just gooey rice. Same thing as eating rice with water. Its definitely not worth $8. Dont buy this brand. Its better to go to next door and spend few extra dollars where they make fresh porridge. A lot of the pre-made korean foods are terrible. I wouldnt waste my money on them. Just go to korean restaurants, even though some of them arent very good, BUT at least the dishes are better than any pre-made korean dishes you buy at the markets.Update: December 29, 2020I bought an imported kimchee from Korea to try, and it was nothing more than washed up kimchee with just the taste of sourness, thats it. It looked weird and it tasted terrible. Do not buy this brand, you will waste your money and regret it. So nasty kimchee, I had to throw it away. It was one of the worst kimchees I had ever tasted. Best places to buy kimchee in my opinion is not at a store but at a restaurant. Most korean restaurants will sell kimchee if you like them, however that doesnt mean all restaurants kimchee is good. You just have to try it and if you like them, you can buy them; much better than store packaged and store made kimchee. Check the photos.Updated:Last kimchee has a great taste. 👍👍, 2 thumbs up!! Im from Alabama and really wanted to try some Korean stuff, went to the aisles saw some really cool stuff some of which had alcohol, when I got to the register the lady wouldnt sell me anything because my ID was from Alabama, she said no out of COUNTRY IDs Im sorry but last time I checked, Alabama was a state in the United states of America, I really felt offended that she didnt even care to ask anyone else about my valid ALABAMA state license, I also had some noodles and she didnt even let me buy those, had a horrible experience dont recommend going if you are from out of state .

I really like to shop at this location. The store is always fully stocked and has everything that I ever need.

This place is interesting, probably the most diverse place in Carrollton in terms of ingredients and the people that shop and work here. If you want to see the future of this part of Carrollton, take stroll through this store. Expect different sights and smells but dont be afraid, and enjoy all the great food housed here.

This is an Asian (Korean) store. We go there to buy veggies, fruits, and fish - good choice and prices. Cant say anything else - it has plenty of stuff but it is targeting specific clients.

Awesome place!! Its always clean, has great selection of meat and produce, and the staff are friendly.But my favorite part is the food court. This place is a whole experience! So many fresh vegetables. My sister is a new vegan and was having a hard time finding a variety of mushrooms. H Mart was the place. I love fish and it is super fresh. It is worth the drive.

So many varieties of fruits and vegetables, bottled sauces, ramen and other noodles-too much to list. Prices better than my neighborhood grocery store. And I finally found some green curry paste in larger containers. Try the wide variety of ice cream treats. And stop by the bakery in front of the grocery store. Everything is so fresh, and the cream cakes are delicious.

Great Store With a big selection and low prices! They sell appliances also and have some restaraunts inside also! Its on the left side of the busy shopping center. Hmart is on the side of George Bush Tollway service road. its s very busy shopping center. Sometimes parking is hard to find

Hmart has the largest and Best kept produce department in the metroplex. The fruits and vegetables have a high turnover and are kept fresh. You will also find vegetables and some fruits that you havent seen before. Its a great place to explore and discover.

Love this store. They have a food court inside great place to sample different Asian style foods. As far as shopping goes they have everything needed to make the food the food court makes. Open up your taste buds and try it. Worth the trip. If you dont purchase any items theres lots to look at.

If I lived in this area I would shop here all the time. I love asian food and they have what looks like everything I would need to make my asian dishes. Plus there are restaurants and clothing/jewelry store inside.

Like an American Sams on steroids. That translates to getting to taste Korean food on almost every asile. So many flavors and the smells are wonderful to me. Man, I wish there was one of these in Little Rock, Arkansas!!! My only complaint is they have a massive food court but only two restroom stalls... That are NOT the cleanest. All in all, a very great place to shop.

Great food. So fresh. We buy most of our fruits and Vegetables there cause they are wonderful. Also cant get all the asian food we love any where else. Their fish is specially fresh. I served in the Navy for 20 years. Loved it and all my time in meeting so many wonderful people.

Store is getting crowded and not well kept. They restock items during busy times blocking isles making you feeling like youre on LA fwy fighting for real-estate. I feel like I want to get out as soon as I get in.

I usually came here for fishes and crabs. Those are pretty fresh and lots of varieties. They provide free ice for packaging as well.
