I was asked to leave because I didn’t have a mask but I can go next door to buy food without needing to wear a mask.

I seriously love yall. This was sold out nation wide, I gave the store a call, they miraculously only had one and they held it for me. Mark was awesome, he made me happy by seeing how happy I was getting this rare 15th anniversary collectors edition statue. He even got me a box to make sure my precious wasnt damage by rain. I cant believe I scored this, this seriously made my day and the employees are awesome.

The manager at GameStop West Dundee is always great, friendly and incredibly helpful. He is the main reason we continue to go there. His staff is well trained courteous and professional. Thank you for keeping our experience a great one every time we enter the store.

I loved this location for the longest time, employees are super friendly, great selection of games, but this last time I bought 5-6 games, 4 of them came without discs, I went in and picked the games out myself, went home and one of the games was missing, I called and they said they didn’t even have the disc so that meant I had it. I didn’t think to myself to check the other ones, bad idea, always check to make sure they put the discs in. But the fact that I don’t have the discs to multiple games I bought is unacceptable

6/29/20 Visited this place because I was around the area for game pick-ups. Store manager is great. I think his name is Mark. Friendly service from him. He ANSWERS the phone, too. Can you believe that? Lol If I am around the area again, Ill be sure to drop by and see what games they have. I, too, became a victim of Marks KINDNESS and PLEASANTNESS. Youve been warned.

I have been coming here for just about all my life, the store is always clean and well organized. Thr staff are always helpful and carry a wealth of knowledge for games to recommend everyone and anyone! The manager Mark is always there to help and looks out for all his customers.

Been calling the store periodically this afternoon, no one is answering, looks like they either dont staff enough employees or train them to ignore the phone. Either way bad look, people have money to spend and they arent going to do it when all dont answer the phone. I live like 35 minutes from this store, its inconvenient that they are ignoring phone calls. I need to know if they have a certain product in stock before i go.

I felt really uncomfortable being there because we didn’t get greeted like everyone else. we got yelled out for looking & picking up a game when we weren’t supposed to but we didn’t know there was no sign to not touch the games . i don’t like this place one bit.

This location has great staff, they were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and helping me find what I needed. The employee was very cheery and chatty, make sure you ask how theyre doing :) The store was clean and pretty well organized. Worth the visit if its a close drive.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is the best! Everyone enjoys working here and every time I walk in this door I get a smile and a good greeting. Mark and everyone that works here are amazing. This is the only Gamestop I visit because of them and even had the pleasure to work holidays by there side. Best work experience ever! Keep it up guys!

They sold my pre order of ff7 remake deluxe then got lie.To about the calls to pick up we just opened up in my state illinois as well really really poor customer service.I never spend money at gamestop ever again.If i could rate it 0 stars I would.

I came to the store to trade in some games to put toward a preorder. Mark the gentleman who helped me was very polite and professional. He was fair with me about the trades and I was very happy that the games he could take gave me enough money to get my preorder. They wanted $40.00 for Pokemon black / white. Anything you can get here, you can get cheaper on the marketplace for your respective console. However, if you need fortnite or minecraft merchandise, this is the store for you.

I was given a $100 gift card for Christmas and when I went to the store to get a amazon gift card, they refused to sell me it claiming that they cannot due to scams. When I go directly to the store and present the gift card with the available balance of $100 why can I not buy the card. I had asked one of the employees if that was ok, and he confirmed that we could purchase the amazon gift card with the gamestop gift card. As we went to check out, we were stopped by another employee saying loudly that they couldn’t sell me it. I wasted my time, gas, patience just to hear that I couldn’t get what I was told I could get.

Lets preface this review by saying I USED to be a huge GameStop customer for YEARS until they burned me one too many times with bad service horrible employees and overall ineptitude. So I no longer frequent GameStop unless Im selling something I dont care about getting top dollar for. I live like half way between this location and the one in Streamwood off 59. That location I recently visited to trade in some Games and a PS2 and was sent away seemingly because the employee didnt know how to hook up a PS2...told me to sell it on eBay 🙄🙄🤣Decided to come into this location on a Thursday morning looking to sell an old Wii I had laying around for cash. Mark was super helpful and very nice. Chatted with me some about games offered me a copy of the latest Game Informer magazine and really made me feel like he cared about my business. Even offered to take a look at the PS2 that the other store didnt want. I wish GameStop employed more employees like Mark that really do care about gaming and the industry and really wants customers to feel at home in his store. BEST GameStop experience I can ever remember having!

Mark is great! Son bought a controller elsewhere that ended up being glitchy, so we traded out in at the Crystal Lake store. 3 days later when he had a chance to try it, that 2nd controller had something loose inside. Mark help us trade it in, no hassles, made us laugh, and even gave us a coupon. Glad we stopped in here instead of our usually CL store up north a bit.

There was a big miscommunication about the pricing of the elite pro membership, but in my years i have never had a better experience in a store. They were extremely helpful to get the problem resolved. In the end they accomodated so very well when i couldnt understand something fully. I appreciate all you did spring hill gamestop, keep crushing it, and im sorry once again for the hassle.

Worst ever. .....I went to the store in Carpentersville IL, on Black Friday at 4:30 am, waited in line for a DS system for $99.00 was told they had 5 shipped to the store. When it was my turn, there were two left, I got one and so did my friend. 10 minutes later the employee comes out and tells me they only got 4 and not 5!!! Really????
