Leu gave me the best kite boarding lesson I have ever taken! He was really good with identifying what I was doing wrong and teaching me how to correct it! I highly recommend them!

Convenient location.The owner, Juan Carlos, and my instructor, Leu, were AWESOME!Ive had classes before with great teachers, but I always had trouble hearing them. With 15 Knots, the instructor was able to give me immediate feedback while I was riding because we had a water proof walkie talkies!!My stance was off before and my knee would start hurting after only 1 hour, but with Leu I rode 2 hours and didnt feel any pain! I could have kept going for another 1-2 hours.

Went out to the ocean with Leu on a jet ski. After 3 hours I made that very special leap the one that makes you feel that you got it. That special moment is the one you remember and that is the instructor you will remember. Thank you for the excellent guidance and the right amount of freedom and instructions. Can not wait to be back !!!Its not fancy but hey if you want to learn kitesurfing this is a perfect place.Recommended !

My experience with 15 Knots was incredible. I had been wanting to get into Kiteboarding for some time now. Since I was on vacation in PR, what better time? My instructor was Dagmar and she honestly couldnt have been any greater. Not only a well educated and experienced kiteboarder, but Dagmar has such an amazing personality that made learning fun, easy, and effortless. In addition, the male instructors who were there were also great people and I quickly felt that I had made new friends doing something we all enjoyed. What an amazing experience. Kiting may look as easy as holding onto a string but with the proper training, you can truly make the kite dance in the sky and that is exactly what you will learn with 15 Knots! I only was able to be trained on control of the kite and hoped to actually start surfing but my lesson was booked for only 2 hours and I did not have time to get that far but will surely move forward with surfing next time. Thanks again Dagmar!

I have rented from a number of schools, and I have to say this was the most helpful and easiest experience of them all! Isla Verde is an ideal place to kite with a reef protected cove that has a massive amount of space so you never feel crowded. Juan and Dagmar give sage advice on the area but also technical improvement. They also have jet ski support.

Honestly: hands down best experience ever. I went from a scared newbie to standing on the board kite surfing in one day. My brother and I had 3 lessons with Leu, a rockstar instructor: super knowledgeable, talented, and chill. His “no fear” mentality (and words) made us feel comfortable and he was super technical with his explanations. Recommend to ANYONE and EVERYONE considering lessons with 15 Knots!! Oh, and definitely take the jet ski based lesson. We progressed leaps and bounds faster!!!

Leu was a fantastic instructor. Patient and extremely skilled, I watched him drive a jetski with one hand and fly a kite with the other and that’s when I knew that this was a pretty remarkable lesson.For beginners, I highly recommend booking a 4 hour accelerated lesson with jetski support. Even with a partner (effectively 2 hours in the water for each of us), we learned a ton and were able to get up on the board for a bit at the end of the lesson.If you are worried about low-wind conditions, don’t worry, you will be contacted the morning of the lesson if winds aren’t good, and Leu was willing to postpone the lesson for two hours until the wind picked up. He even offered a refund if the wind conditions remained bad. Fortunately, the conditions improved as soon as we hit the water!

Juan Carlos and Dagmar are extremely nice and knowledgeable, and are great instructors. Highly recommended.

Freddy was so good. He made learning kiteboarding easy.

Unforgettable experience, a work group that loves what it does, very professional and feels that they give their maximum to see you progress at the end of the day. Very funny and I recommend it to anyone looking to learn this sport or just have a good time of pure adrenaline. Thanks to the entire team of 15 Knots Kiteboarding.
