It was decent. I love mom & pop style places. Theyre usually way better than chain restaurants. However, this place didnt have the best way to make pancakes. My friend ordered scrambled eggs, pancakes, ans sausage. The pancakes were too thin and looked seemingly dry. Everything else was pretty good. I had French toast, dippy eggs (over easy), home fries, sausage, and bacon.
Long wait for bland food. Our waiter was nice and friendly but their was some sort of mixup with our order and it wasn’t getting handled by the kitchen. Someone who I assume to be the shift supervisor noticed and she began to yell at her staff, asking why our table was still not being given drinks etc.
Food was really good; however it took forever!! My husband and Father were served omelettes & they had long finished eating and the two waffles had still not arrived. No one came over to explain what the delay was. Once waffles arrived, presentation was beautiful.
The breakfast is the best breakfast in the area. food is delicious and fresh, reasonably priced. I had the Belgian waffle with gelato with fried eggs on my side and it was amazing
I’ve been coming here for breakfast for the past few days during my stay here in Puerto Rico. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. I’ve had the waffles, pancakes, veggie omelet, and eggs in a basket and everything was delicious. Mouth is watering as it thinking about the waffles while writing my review 🤤
My food, coffee, and service was fabulous! Everything was absolutely lovely. Very glad I came
Dont get me wrong, the food was great. I had the Mallorca French toast and a coffee. The service was extremely slow. I honestly think they forgot about me though. The lady who took my order at the counter walked by several times in the 45 minute span that I waited for my food. It didnt come out until I asked about my order.Food = 5 starsService = 2 stars
Horrible customer service! Extra long wait, different waiters attending table, none on the same page and extremely expensive 2 coffees, one triplets $29 and it did not even do justice to justify the price... I DO NOT RECOMMEND... Employees are all serious and with attitude..Dont even deserve the tip.... never again
Food was really good. The stars are lower because of the wait time for the food to get to your table. Almost 40 minutes for pancakes
People were very nice. Prices were good.Enjoyed my breakfast. I would return.
When I lived here until 2018, this place was fantastic (even through Hurricane Maria)! Sadly, it is not so now. The menu is limited (understandably so because of COVID) but the service was slow and the food was average. We had to ask for the status of our order repeatedly and it was delivered lukewarm after various inquiries. I will not be returning. 😔😔
Had a Cuban Meadianoche sandwich, very good and authentic, but they specialize in Italian gelato. Being Italian, I can vouch for the quality. Plus, I left my credit card and they saved it until I returned the next day.
Great food. My family loved it.
Waitress was rude. Took our water and soda order and told us that the food would be 35 minute wait. We told her we wont be able to wait and we were going pass and got up to leave. She chased us out the door and told us we had to pay thw bill and yelled out that we were skipping out on the bill and would call the cops. (Wso embarrading~we didnt opem any of the drinks) She yelled out for the manager whom apologized for the inconvenience and qished us a nice day. Beware of rhe service. I wouldnt go back if you paid me to.
Waitstaff exceptional friendly. Breakfast lunch dinner pastries and frozen yogurt. Every breakfast came with a fruit cup nice touch
Disappointing. Actual hours dont match hours posted on front door or on website. Tried to stop several times for gelato during our 10-day visit to PR, but they were never open. We got there once when they were still open (~9pm), and was told, from behind their locked door, they were closed.
Food was good but theyre severely understaffed. Took over an hour for my breakfast order.
Cubanos are on poooiiint, great service, try the passion fruit mojito!!
Good is as you would expect but well cooked and a decent menu. Service was excellent and very knowledgeable.
We were on vacation in San Juan and searched for a place to eat breakfast. We accidentally came across Piu Bello and it was great! The staff was friendly, the food was great. Definitely visiting this place again before we leave.
The tiramisu gelato is great!
Place was good, food was just okay. Reasonably priced.
Great service and food.
The service was atrocious. 3 servers standing right in front of me and never acknowledged my presence much less take my order or offer to seat me.
Tasty breakfast, more healthy than other cafe
This was the first place we ate at and our waitress Siri was really nice and provided us with some nice places to visit. Our host(forgot name) was nice as well, he made some really good drinks. We had passionfruit Mojito and Pina Colada.
Service was decent, the place was clean and attractive. However, I was disappointed with my Açaí Bowl. It didn’t have bananas as described on the menu. I asked for and paid for large but got a small portion in a large bowl. The cantaloupe was crunchy.
Best waffle I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of waffles. The gelati is delicious but have you ever had bad gelati? Food came out faster than most restaurants on the island. You can park on one of the residential streets north of Avenida Isla Verde and walk over.
Really slow service here. We waited nearly an hour just for a simple ham and cheese sandwich. Like really?
Great customer service and great food
I had been in the Bayamon branch 3 times, they have the worst service ever. Employees are rarely there, and when there they seem more eager to evade and ignore the customer, than to help and sell.
Old style diner but good atmosphere and delicious food simple affordable
Food is ok but the last few times I have been there, the waiting time has been more than 1 hour.
Great food awful customer service told me they are full capacity and while standing they let two groups of people then I told them about it and the said that they are sorry it was a mistake
This was a really good place for breakfast in the area. It crushed the hotels for taste and execution although price is similar to the hotels. They are quick here, your not waiting an hour like everywhere else. The staff is also attentive. Ate here 2/3 days. Would go back.
We have eaten here a couple of times in this trip, mostly breakfast and a late-night gelato. The service and breakfast food is very good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and reminds me of an old streetcar diner. I would definitely recommend its a less expensive option to the pricy resort restaurants in the area
Loved it...breakfast
Good food. Friendly staff. Very slow today.
A good place to eat. Was there today for breakfast but was disappointed that no protocol was follow according to the executive order. No temperature taken at door no hand sanitizer and did not see any social distancing. While I was there this young kid came in twice with no face mask and no shirt. Not one employee said anything to him.The food was good as usual but I don’t think I will be back until this pandemic is over.
Great place very good food.
Great cup of coffee. Well be back tomorrow
They have breakfast all day, and some nice sandwiches, too. Their curly fries are to die for. They put cream cheese in some of their omelettes, which is really cool.
Excellent food and service.
Amazing every time. Our favorite for breakfast and brunch 🥯🍳
Best coffee ever amazing service
Good food and service!!!
It was ok didnt really enjoy the food when I was there to visit. But they were all kind. My food was cold too especially the eggs!!! Luckily they werent raw.
Good place for breakfast but also serves lunch and dinner + of course the ice creams.Almost opposite Hampton hotel. They have a ramp that is so steep I doubt that it conforms to any official regulationsbut might be more useful for deliveries than wheelchairs, as their sign points out quite clearly.
Nice, friendly place for breakfast. Has a diner atmosphere and a patio if you want to eat outside. Our server even adjusted the air conditioning so it wouldnt blow right on us. Would definitely go back.
Staff was very friendly but I wouldnt go back.
The place was ok. Service was slow. My meal the skirt steak omelette was fine. My wifes meal the beef steak and eggs was not. The steak was not freshly cooked. It was reheated and very tough. We made the waitress aware but nothing was done.🤷🏾♂️ We dont like sending food back so we toughed it out.
Amazing food! Probably the best in Puerto Rico. Delicious everything. The gelato is amazing and for breakfast this is the perfect place to go!
Was great
Great friendly staff! I cant say enough. We enjoyed the service and good food here so much we eat here 3 days out of 5. My children are leaving Spanish and the staff all work with them. I will be back.
Great service and food.
They sold me a 🍕 pizza and it was terrible nasty and not cooked right..i give them0000 stars the pizza was not even cooked right at alllll...
Good food , waiter had No clue!!!!! Ordered tuna melt, got tuna wrap, ordered 3 different brands of beer that they had to offer & ALL were sold out!! My wife ordered tuna melt as well And a spinach tuna wrap is what she got...very disappointed had lots to choose from and waisted Money and time here 😪
Food was good. Excellent service. Prices are a little high for the type of menu items.
Food was delicious! But, we saw a roach near our table, and we wonder if there are any more roaches in our hotel as well.
Great food great prices and dopey great servers. They spike English and the area was super clean and you had clear sight from wherever you sat in the restaurant. Did I mentioned their Gelato was to die for
It was my first time in PR, I stayed close to this restaurant and I came two times for breakfast. Nice atmosphere and services. I would recommend this place and I would come back here again for my next visit to Isla Verde. I gave them 4 stars because they took some time to bring in the food. But def if you near by check this place out!.
Our number one breakfast stop all vacation long and the service was wonderful.
The breakfast was perfect and reasonably priced. Also they have a great selection of Gelato that they offered free tastings...to get you hooked.
The place was okay and service was not all that great. Went in for dinner and drinks the server didn’t know almost anything on the menu the food was good though just not a fan of the service
Very good flavors. Beautiful pastries. Nice atmosphere and friendly service
The food and service here were absolutely amazing! It was the perfect start to our beach day!
Dont eat here. You will sit for 20min before you are even acknowledged...Then another 15min just to get drinks .Another 30min to get your food.Chicken strips were burnt...Bacon on BLT was burnt bacon bits...Place is Horrible & Dirty....DONT waist your time or money here....!!!!!
Food is scrumptious. The servers are excellent. Reasonable prices. Theyll even let you sample some gelato flavors.
Very nice little place, cheap prices for good food and filling portions. Casual atmosphere and great servers. The only complaint is that the door to the kitchen squeaks loudly every time someone walks through it!
Great breakfast. Delicious! Excellent coffee and great service.
Good Gelato but great brunch every morning at very reasonable prices. Very nice staff. Everything you would expect in a hearty American style breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc)
Perfect sunny little diner with good brunch food, cozy casual atmosphere and friendly service. I would definitely feel comfortable bringing kids and/or guests here.
This place is older and we had ants on the table. Its pricey for just a diner, so we decided on just coffee. It was over $6 for two regular coffees. $7 with tip. Too much for a place like this👎🏼. Edith cafe is right next door and its better priced and cleaner.
Nice place to have good breakfast! Good mimosa! Friendly staff.
Good gelato for being close to the beach in a tourist area. We also ordered crepes and corn sticks with were both delicious. Kind of pricey, but its a bit of a novelty. Waiter was great with the service.
Very cozy and friendly atmosphere with great service and food.
Good place! My wife loved the crepe and fruit dish and I got the Cuban. It wasnt as good or large as mi casita but still liked it.
No flavor on the eggs, they messed up our order the first time. We waited like 40 min for some eggs and pancakes was not busy. First and last time.
My friend and I traveled Puerto Rico for the first time. Down the street from the hotel we booked was this Piu Bello Gelato restaurant. The picture of the food looked good, so we walked. At first we stood in a line and after being in it for 5 mins we asked a waitress if we needed to sit or pay first. She said to sit and someone would be with us. We sat for a good 15-18 minutes and not once did anyone approach us, not even to say hi. After sitting we decided to just walk out and take our business elsewhere. Luckily we found a great place called Los Platos and the took care of us with a warm smile, great food and service.
Delicious flavors! So creamy!
It needs some TLC.Gellatos are OK.Its great for breakfast though.
