I’m so happy I found this place! I grew up in Chicago and would go to Argyle very frequently. Now that I live out in the suburbs, it’s a bit harder to travel to the city to buy Vietnamese groceries. This place is very cute and reminds me of home. The cashier was very sweet to me. I wish I got her name but I was so excited to speak my language to someone! I’ll definitely be coming back. ^-^

This is one of the best markets Ive been to. They feature lots of food as well as great vegetables and fruits. Highly recommend this place for everyone!

The store is clean and organized, the seafood area doesnt smell, and there are plenty of in stock options in every aisle!! Everything we had was fresh and super cheap!

No frills Asian grocery. They have everything we need without having to drive to Chicago to goto Argyle. Prices are OK and the store never gets too busy.

They lived to my expectation for a store that cares for its customers in this unusual time. Been going here for many times , their meat selection is great, produce is good as well .

Been around for as long as I can remember... vietnamese staples and imported goods. When I make noodles, come here to stock up 40 minute drive for so for me.

What an authentic Asian market with plenty of selection! The store is kept very clean. I found a lot of food that regular Asian market will not have which make me really happy. The veggie is very fresh and the price is no more than regular chain market. Will definitely go visit again.

Phan Thiet is a great place if you are looking for a Oriental grocery store and they have fresh fish, pork and vegetable and the prices are responsible.And the prices are responsible.

They said they were open until 10 p.m. on Labor Day. When we got there at 5 p.m. we were shopping for about 10 minutes. We were told that they were closing and they were very rude while we were shopping trying to get our things quickly. After we paid, the clerk didnt look at us and never said thank you. We were very disappointed with this store.

I shop here regularly with my sons. We love the selection of noodles and they have anything and everything vietnamese and loation that one could want or need as far as food stuffs. Nice small selection of cosmetics and sheet masks too. The handmade rolls and sesame buns are delicious. Staff is always super friendly! I highly recommend!!

First time going to this place. Had no idea where to start looking for the needed ingredients for my pad Thai recipe. The owner was super nice and helpful. He helped me find everything I needed in a couple of mins. I think it would have taken me an hour alone and I would have purchased the wrong noodles as they have so many varieties. Great little store that seems to have everything.

A diverse range of authentic Asian ingredients from snacks to ready-to-eat food to groceries, Phan Thiet has it all! Especially for southeast Asian cuisine. Price is competitive and honestly, since moving to NYC, I wish a store like this was available to me. Store is always updating and stocking fresh and in-season ingredients. The clerk/manager, Ryan, is always super helpful, fun, and if you need some recommendations, he will give you his unbiased opinion. The store also welcomes recommendations for new items to stock.Highly recommend!

Great place to get those asian ingredients, produce or snack thats not in your local grocery store.

This place has a lot of character pretty cool inside not the most friendly people but I guess it comes with the territory LOL they have some real authentic stuff here Vietnamese

Its a decent market. Having been a patron at Tai Nam in the city, the selection here definitely cant be compared with what Tai Nam offers.A lot of the items are missing a price tag too. The prices are definitely steeper than Tai Nams prices. But their prices are better than Saigon Market thats located about 0.5 miles from Phan Thiet.If youre looking for more a general Asian spices, ingredients, etc., you may be able to find it here but dont expect to find anything more specific/rare/unique.

I love this place. Don’t expect to be greeted or followed around the store, it’s a market not Costco. I come here for vegan stuff. This place is very vegan friendly. Herbs and veggies you can’t find anywhere else. Fresh noodles! For your drunken noodles. Also a lot of vegetarian meats. I love the cha lua chay which is like a turkey roll that is great for sandwiches and soup. Mushroom seasoning powder is life changing for broths. You can find vegan fish sauce, vegan oyster sauce and stir fry sauces and every noodle you can think of. Go for the ćhe and other desserts

Great service and price

Wasnt greeted when I walked in I shopped and found 2 items, waited at the register for a few mins. Finally I walked to am isle and found someone, waved and he nodded. Waited a few more mins, then I just left. I have been there before and they have sloppy shelves and I found a green tea that was open and thats what I wanted. I asked the clerk if there were more because it was open. He said no I would have to but that one. I left that time also.

Good place to chill

Good selection of Asian grocery and non-food items. Kinda cramped but nevertheless it saves me the headache of driving all the way up to Argyle St on the Northside of Chicago.

We got some banana cakes. They were super tasty.

Its small but have most of everything that i need.

Went to the store 10 minutes before closing, I was going to buy some shrimp. Lady didnt want to sell some because she had put them away in the freezer.
