I went there to get my car key copied and they were able to do it in one day. Shout out to the new black guy working there ( I forgot his name already 🤦🏻) He was very helpful and had very good customer service skills. Ace is always the place to go for keys and other stuff

This is the BEST hardware store in the area. It was a drive for me, coming from West Roseville, but it was worth the drive. The employees are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The store is jam-packed full of goodies but very organized. You can find anything and everything here. If they dont have it, you dont need it!!!

The staff is very helpful. I was building something odd, but the young man was patient with me. I told him he didnt have to help me if he didnt want to, but he said that he didnt mind. He helped me with the design of my project. Now, I have a beautiful balcony that only needs a few more touches before its a respite for my dogs and I. Theres all sorts of neat things here. I spent my trip in the gardening section, so I cant say much about the rest of the shop.

👎Just leaving Carmichael Ace, over priced cedar mulch $ 6.99.per bag. Understand this I could have gone to home depot for those bages and receive the same dam treatment. 👎 NO THANK YOU or Shopping With Us. 👎 Ill go back to Home Depot for better prices at the minimum realize I am saving.

Went here the other day and they had the right parts for some of my backyard work. The only reason I am leaving a four star review is the fact that when I asked one of the employees to guide me, he gave me some attitude. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that shouldnt necessitate a reason to be rude.

Im a maintenance worker and went in to look for a tool I needed for work. The staff was not interested at all in answering my one question or getting me the tool at all. They seemed like they didnt believe I was going to buy it. I dont know what their problem was. I just left without even looking for the other things I came to get. Very disappointed in this Ace Hardware. Wont be going back.

I went in on Saturday 4/10/21 around 2:00 pm, just to pick up a bottle of drain cleaner. While the store was very busy at that time, there was a young male employee walking around asking all of the patrons if they needed help with anything. I could not reach the top shelf to get what I needed. Normally I would have expected to go flag someone down for help, but he saw me and immediately came to assist and was very polite and wished me a good day. It was a very simple act, but very nice and noticed.

Good place to get a variety of hardware stuff. It may not have a big variety as HomeDepot yet you can get the small town excellent service.

I never have expierienced such rude employees they sold me the wrong cord and i have the reciept but not the package that went around it so they wont return it. They will get credit regardless to it having its packaging. Ace hardware you just lost a vustomer.

In comparison to big box stores, Ace Hardware for its square foot area competes in product diversity and in stock average.The store is clean, well stocked and organized. The store has the feel of a neighborhood hardware store like a small town go-to. Many of the employees are long term and are friendly familiar faces.Ace is a good bet and highly recommended.

So I had an interesting experience at my local Ace Hardware today.I was picking up a few things for a project Im working on. Unable to find one specific item, I began looking for assistance. I approached 2 employees, one was turned away from me, the other looked at me at backed off. Probably because I had my face mask pulled down below my nose. The one fellow asked if I needed help...I said I have a question. He was at least 6 ft from me and immediately asked me to put my mask over my nose. I said I wouldnt be able to breathe and...before I could finish he said...I wont help you then and started to walk away. I responded with ok and put my mask up and asked him to come back over. He walked away. Since I was in a pleasant mood I opted to continue on looking for the item myself instead of making a scene. By the way, I found the item I needed without assistance. As I walked out another customer said...nice hat. Then I realized I had my camo Make America Great hat on. Everything made sense after that. No, Ace Hardware didnt loose a multi-decade customer. I just chalked it up to TDS.

Super helpful with my project and had what I needed. I went to a propane place in Elk Grove 2 times, another hardware store and 2 camper places and none had what I needed except this Ace! I was finally able to finish my tent trailer propane issues. Thank you!

Wow A+ service here for the manager Rod and team. Purchased a new screen door online with ship from store option. First door had some damage but Rod (the manager) was quick to resolve my problem. This guy is amazing (had a new door within days), and we will be moving our purchases from the Fair Oaks Ace to the Carmichael Ace Hardware because of Rods superior customer service. Ok so this is definitely no Emighs that is a couple miles away from this location. Easy for some simple needs. I feel like the store is small and hard to move around especially when a line develops. Staff is helpful and easy to find.

Ace hardware is a great store but unfortunately at this location the customer service is horrible straight trash. Ive never felt unwanted and discriminated in my whole entire life they just profiled me due to me having tattoos and they followed me around the store on multiple occasions but this time it was too much dad made me feel so unwanted and so unwelcome this time that Im never going to step foot in a Ace hardware again. Ive always spent money in there at least $200 every time and theyve always followed me and tried to be slick about it but this time it was just so blatant and obvious that Im fed up for the record Ive never stolen anything in my life and a workers there were just so rude honestly I suggest if you decide to go into Ace hardware you should pick somewhere else and not this location

I purchased the BOGO of the 10 Milwaukee blade on 25 Dec 2020. I have yet to receive my completed order. Heres my dilemma1. Following a critical review of the Carmichael, Ca Ace hardware, I spent over an hour round trip to store with my wife who was recovering from major back surgery as driver as I had just had major ankle surgery.Steve the store manager told me (after calling me several disgusting names in front of the cashiers and customers) that he canceled my order to pay me back for writing a critical review. My wife was mortified. I was in shock. Steve said he had the product but he wasnt giving it to me.I have never been addressed in such an immature, unprofessional, narcissistic and embarrassing manner in my 65 plus years.On top of that Steve and his den of thieves have been charging product on my credit card.

A store with personality : Nick helped me find everything I needed in no time. In the 5 trips I spent over $200. It was well worth it, finding the electrical and plumbing parts at Lowes or Home Depot woda taken hours. I was in and out in 20 min. (for 1st and biggest purchase.) Other trips taking care of those complications went quick and smooth as well. They had everything I needed.The last couple of times I went to Home Depot they were out of the most basic items.Parking at Ace is much better as well.Ill be BACK!

I wanted to shop local. I wanted to support the brick and mortar stores in the Sacramento region. But if you do not enforce wearing masks in your store, as was the case today when I needed to return an item, then you quickly get crossed off my list of local companies to support. Over 50% of the shoppers at this ACE location were not wearing masks. Then one wearing it with his nose sticking out. Wont be back with this blatant disregard for pandemic precautions.

What a joke! I went to there web site to order an ice chest for pickup. You can not order an item they have in stock for pick up? I called the store to see what the problem was, they told me the warehouse must be the problem, I ask the clerk if he would see if the item was physically at the store , he said that it was , and that it was the only one left. GREAT I’ll take it. But he would not let me purchase the item, I offered 200.00$ just to hold it for me. Nope. Ask if I could pay and have it delivered nope. What kind of business is this?

I love Ace and love supporting them instead of Home Depot/Lowes. My only issue is that the employees arent very helpful when I ask about location of an item or hardware suggestions. So, know exactly what you want and find it yourself.

This ACE is a nice store! It is well lit, well organized, and well staffed :) I was able to easily navigate to the hardware aisle where the bin setup made it a breeze to find the bolts I needed. Afterward, I looked around a bit at the wall of power tools and then the even bigger selection of hand tools! My experience at the register was pleasant as well, for the gentleman that helped me was very nice and handled my transaction quickly!I recommend stopping at this ACE.

The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because I found a couple things I was not able to find at any HD or Lowes. The staff was not able to help me find what I needed and some even said they dont have time to unlock item locked on the shelf. This is a good place to find what you need If you spend the time to find it yourself not if you need help

Wide selection although prices might be a little steep for some it is a good location for most hardware needs also has non hardware items

Ace is a great place to find niche nuts, bolts, and many small decorative pieces, as well as the more typical hardware supplies. What makes them stand out is that you can always count on an employee to be readily available to help you locate what youre after, unlike the big box stores where you tend to have to track them down.

I go here fairly often. The thing that amazes me about this store is its not very big, but they ALWAYS have what I need. I have gone in on a whim looking for some obscure things I thought for sure theyd have to order, but they had them in stock. For example, an odd filter size for my moms AC unit, and a vacuum cleaner belt for my model.The very best thing about this store though is the people. I love the staff here. Someone will always greet you and help you if you want (but not pester you if you dont).

Once I got inside, I had some thing in my hands from outside, there was a guy that immediately offered to lighten my load so I could shop inside. Awesome! So I got what I needed and headed back up front with my selections. Upon arrival at the checkout stand, my items magically appeared and were added to my purchase.Fast, friendly, awesome people.Sort-of narrow isles, but somewhat well organized. Found what I needed in a mere ten minutes.

Everything was a little crowded due to store is situated on the inverted corner. The store tried to have lots of inventory, but it seemed to overcrowded the shelving spaces. But, overall, staff are very friendly and helpful!
