This is not our first time using Southgate Glass and I assure you it wont the last neither. They were very efficient, courteous and professional every time weve used them. Although this work request wasnt a large job it wasnt easy to get to due existing landscape our 2 very large Anatolian Shepherds and a large tree adjacent to the window needing to be repaired. They were done in no time, didnt inconvenience us at all and for the exception of a couple loud warning barks at first, our 2 guardians kept an eye on them but wasnt bothered by them through job complete. Thank you Southgate Glass.

Absolutely awful experience. Installation was poorly done. Tons of scratches on Slider and broker screen door. Been waiting 8 months for repairs. Blaming the manufacturer Milgard the whole time. Should have ordered through another company.

Horrible measuring!!! Every window had a different degree. Took 6 months to get windows. Windows were all damaged after they said they werent damaged. All they do is blame everyone else. They dont take any responsibility. There main guy that comes out to measure windows literally told me to tilt the window to fix it. A big joke milgard should stop letting them use there product. ANDERSON WINDOWS!!!!

The new door and window look perfect. The door fits like a glove and closes and open very easily. The carpenter who put the door in took his time and made sure it was perfect.

We havent been able to open 10 of our 12 windows for years. Hardware would fall out the sides and we couldnt find anyone to fix them. Everyone wanted to replace the perfectly good windows. Until we finally talked to Southgate Glass. Rick came by the day we called and gave us a quote. Gabriela was great to work with regarding our schedule. And Antonio showed up on time and got right to work. All 10 windows were fixed in under an hour. I couldnt be happier with the work, the professionalism and the price. Thank you Southgate!!! I ordered an Anderson gliding patio door last summer. Brian was very helpful making sure the measurements were done correctly and helped us narrow down exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely call him again!

Theyre doing a fantastic job replacing windows in my house.

We have six west facing windows in our living room. Always, those windows have been single pane and very much a pain. The living room was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Southgate Glass replaced them with double pane, low e, Argon filled windows. Since then, we have hardly used the air conditioner. The installers were great. The people in the office were very helpful. The price was reasonable. I cant imagine why we waited so long.

I will do business with Southgate Glass again. Kevin (technician) came out to measure the special-size glass needed to order. He was very courteous. When my glass was ready to be installed technicians Kevin and Rick were on time and professional and installed my sliding glass patio door quickly. The broken glass was cleaned up on my patio and carpet. Im pleased with the work done.

Called for a quote on screens for my business. Never heard back from anyone, had to call back 3 times over the span of a week to finally find out their guy wasnt able to do the work in the time frame originally discussed. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Ordered a piece of glass for a table insert on Friday and was told it would be ready on Monday. Monday comes and goes with no word. I call on Tuesday and they say it should be in soon. Tuesday comes and goes. Wednesday comes and goes. I call again on Thursday and, after being placed on hold four times they tell me the glass will be in next Monday at the earliest. Placed on hold four times without warning (for a total of 20 minutes), each time a different person picked up, and I had to start all over with my story. While the people were pleasant on the phone I cant help but suspect that they were trying to wait me out. I will not be going back.

I went in to ask how to put a window together that I had the parts for. They told me they needed to order new parts when I didnt. I knew the parts would work as Ive since proven by assembling one back together when I returned home from southgate glass. I then asked how to put the balancers in place and they didnt want to show me stating they could assemble them for me for a fee. I asked if theyd show me how the balancers were supposed to go in and reluctantly one gut showed me. I even asked for a simple pair of pliers to assist me with a spring attachment and he said his tech was using them. Like they only have one set of pliers. So they were all about charging me for parts I didnt need and they wanted to charge me for assembly and delay my project by making wait instead of empowering me to handle my problem. So I wont go back there.

We purchased 2 new French Doors for the front courtyard of our home. We were very impressed with the professionalism of both the individuals we met in Southgates showroom (Spencer and Brian), and the installation crew. We were concerned about getting everything just right, and Brian patiently walked us through our options and explained the relative merits of each. Once we made our selection, he wrote up the order, came to our home to take measurements, and estimated the cost. He also took care of all of the permits and approvals needed to install these doors. Not content to do a single measurement, Southgate’s process requires that the individual that oversees all of their installations also come to the house to confirm the measurements, which he did.When the doors arrived, a 3-person installation crew: Ron, Paco and Carlos, worked like a well practiced team, performing the installations efficiently and with great care. Ron was diligent about assuring that everything fit properly; was perfectly plumb, level and weather-tight - no shortcuts were taken. This kind of commitment to quality and excellence is rare these days - It was comforting and impressive that Southgate Glass and its field crews care so much about doing excellent work.

This company was fantastic to work with, from the sales rep to the installers, they all did a fabulous job! They were patient with our many questions and even a last minute change. The installers were so thorough and perfectionistic. We ran into some major dry rot and they were able to repair it and still get the job done in time. My only complaint was that the windows took longer to be made than originally quoted-about a month longer. The scheduler was very understanding and got us in as quick as possible. I highly recommend Southgate glass.

We ordered 2 French doors to replace 2 existing sliders. One of the doors required reframing and we also ordered a dog door to be placed into the wall. The day of installation, when the contractors arrived we were told that only one of our doors had arrived. Had we known ahead of time, we wouldve rescheduled as we had to place our dogs in boarding and it isnt cheap. The missing door was supposed to arrive later that day and I was called several hours later that it had arrived. At 5pm that same day we were called stating that part of the door was missing. We were told there was still a chance it could come in the following day and we could proceed as scheduled. It wasnt found and we were told it may need to be reordered (another 12 week wait). Luckily, they found it but not in time to complete within the scheduled time frame. So, they had to come out the following week again to install the second door. I emailed our project manager (Jim) and the general manager (Larry) about a credit for the additional dog boarding costs. To date (3 weeks later) I never got a reply from either regarding this issue. Jim did call me and offered to credit the $110 but this wasnt done and when I asked him 1 week ago about this (we paid in full at final installation) I was told he would look into it and get back to me and also send someone out to adjust the passive panel on our bedroom French door. That was 1 week ago and I havent heard back. At this point, I want no further contact with this company. The contractors were fantastic but communication among the office personnel was awful. I heard multiple excuses during this ordeal including it was because a home show was going on....that Milgard messed up the door order....and that 98% of the time everything works out just not in our case. My advice-take your business elsewhere. You dont want to be the 2%
