Over priced for absolutely nothing! Paid $1300 for a tune up on my car to have a way bigger problem. Two months later. Was told it could be a different problem even though it was doing the same thing prior to getting the service. The problem was so bad that Best One told me they should of seen this and looked further into the correcting the issue. I do not recommend this place for that reason. A quick fix resulted in me paying more money to get fixed! Stay away!

Do not use midas they lie to people to get business. I took my car there for a brake job. They told me I needed brakes and rotors which was correct. They also told me I needed a caliper and it wasnt safe to drive. I took it to the dealership and they told me it wasnt leaking and there was nothing wrong with it. Couple days later I took my car to Firestone to get the brakes done and i didnt say a word to them about the caliper. When they did an inspection they didnt even say anything I asked about it and they said nothing is wrong with it. I will never do business with midas. You should be able to take your car in and not get taken advantage of because Im a woman. Midas said it had a leak in it and needed to be replaced asap.

The gentleman at the front desk asked if I wanted to put in an air filter in my car for $15, that didnt sound too bad a price so I said yes. After it was already installed, the cost magically increased to $32 because he forgot to mention the labor charge. Might not seem like a big deal to the guy whos not paying, but to me it was $17 when I could have easily put in the air filter myself. They did a good job on my car, but this place will nickel dime you to death with all their suggested repairs. They also suggested about $2000 of repairs on my car. I actually appreciate them taking a look at it and catching some things that were wrong I didnt. But having a decent knowledge of cars, I know that these prices are exorbitant, and some of the suggested repairs were TOTALLY dishonest, there is no way I really needed new sway bar links for example. I took my car to an honest local shop and they said I didnt need new sway bar links at this point, especially since its such an older car, and they are causing no issues. When I was in high school almost 20 years ago these guys tried to charge $750 to change my brakes. Thankfully I had a dad who said, son, that place is a ripoff, Ill help you change your brakes, and it cost $70 in parts. This place hasnt changed. Ill admit, they are super nice guys that run the place, and Im sure theyre decent guys who need a job to feed their family. But the company is super greedy. Do yourself a favor and ask around about a mom and pop shop instead of going to these guys. They were sued in California for the bait and switch of charging for cheap services and then upselling by $1700 in repairs, sounds familiar! If you decided to take the bait, just nibble the bait and dont get reeled in. Follow up: I see there is a request to make comments on your website. I went to your office in person and shared my concerns and wasnt offered a solution, just an excuse. I never requested a refund. I just wanted to share my concerns and I dont think that posting on your website will change your ways of doing business..

I punctured a tire an hour into a four hour drive to the in-laws on Christmas Eve, and nowhere else in the area was both open and could fit me in. These guys squeezed me in at the drop of a hat, called my warranty provider to negotiate getting the patch paid for, and one of the guys showed me his cool drone that he was flying around the parking lot. It was probably the best auto shop experience I’ve ever had.

I called ahead of time and told them I wanted my brakes bled. I didn’t realize the master cylinder had no fluid in the reservoir and ran air into the system. I took it in and an hour later found out they decided to start tearing into my brake system and do a full check and then start recommending this and that needs replaced. Ended up leaving brakes not bled and With a couple thousand dollar estimate for work that I didn’t even ask to be inspected.

I went to two other shops and got two completely different brake analysis. I came here for a third opinion and they were able to fit me into their schedule sooner than I thought possible. They were huge help and very courteous team members. They took my brakes apart and then brought me out to show me where my brakes were at. This put me at ease considering I was only able to take the two other shop’s word rather than be able to see firsthand where my brakes were at.

I’ve been coming here for years-recently moved back and this was the first place I decided to come when my car gave me trouble. Their service is amazing, and they always go out of their way to make sure my car is running perfectly! I killed my battery and they charged it at no cost (heard it was common practice but still VERY APPRECIATED by someone who knows how much regular shops rip you off). They even came and got me from work-less than 2 miles but still-I didn’t have to pay someone. I’m just very happy with this place and will not go elsewhere for work to be performed on my car.

I took my car in to this location for an oil change and to have an inspection because my breaks were making a terrible grinding and roaring sound. I dropped it off around 8:30 that morning and didn’t receive a call back until nearly 1PM. I was presented a long list of problems.....a lodged break caliper that can of course only be repaired in pairs, new breaks, flush out of some fluid and replace it with another, etc....nearly $2000 later! My car is 3 YEARS OLD! And I really only drive it to and from my job that is barely 15 minutes from my home. I could not afford such repairs so I then asked that they just go ahead and do the oil change that day and that I would come pick up my car, so they said ok and would call me when it was finished. Hours go by, at this point it is nearly 5:30PM with no call and this location closes at 6 so I decide to call, to which they say “your car HAS BEEN ready for pick up.” So I get a ride there to retrieve my car and was presented with a long, guilt trip of a speech in attempt to scare me into thinking if I don’t get these repairs done ASAP that my car would basically just fall apart while driving it. He then tells me there is no fee for the inspection to which I question the oil change because I didn’t pay for it in advance. He asks, “what oil change?” I said the entire reason I brought my car in is to have the oil change. I thought maybe this wasn’t the employee I have been speaking with throughout the day, but it was, and he responds “well, that oil change just didn’t get done, we must have misunderstood.” So they had my car for nearly 9 hours and nothing got accomplished. I then deferred to taking my car in elsewhere to which they informed me all I needed were some repairs on the breaks that are relatively simple and not a fraction of the price. And that in no way does a 3 year old car need that extensive of repairs unless I did some reckless driving, to which I haven’t. So, either this particular Midas location has incompetent employees or they are looking to take advantage of people. I will certainly never return to them again, and I advice you seek elsewhere for car repairs!

Unfortunately, had a terrible experience. In short, Midas didnt fix our original issue and refused us basic customer service. Our Honda Accord wont start at all, towed it to this Midas who diagnosed it as a bad starter. So I paid them hundreds to replace it. Came to pick it up and it was on and running but they gave me a strange warning: We may have left your dome light on so your battery might need charging. It turned off on me right before I got home. So I sat in freezing temperatures with the key turned to charge the battery. Still nothing.Called Midas, Steve answered, who told me right away that hes not doing any work for free. Steve denied any responsibility because you drove it off the lot and it was working.Mind you this conversation is about 25 minutes after I drove the car from Midas. So technically yes, I did have the time to ruin my car in the few minutes that I had it before it didnt start again. OR the original problem wasnt solved. You mean to tell me, after I paid you for NOT fixing the original problem, you refuse me basic customer service? Im not sure why they dont know how to treat customers and lack basic business ethics, but hey, I have a new starter I guess.

Had my truck towed to Midas knowing I needed a wheel bearing. The part I needed was $144.99 at Napa, which is where they get their parts. They charged me $400 for the part(a 2.5 x mark up) and $200 for the labor, which only took them an hour to complete. Then they tried to tell me my truck needed $2,000 more worth of work and pressed me hard to have them do it. My mechanic at home would have charged me $225 for everything. But these guys charged me $620, most likely because they were having a bad sales day and had to make up for it. I was in a pickle and had to have my truck fixed. I will never use this particular store again. And the manager everyone complains about, Steve... Yea, hes a loud mouth who is going to rub someone too hard one of these days and end up asleep on the floor.

Sales guy is very nice and works very hard. Manager is extremely sarcastic. No less than 6 trips in just over 2 months for the same diagnostic code. Have to give them credit for continuing to try to get it fixed, but at my final trip when I finally asked for them to honor their 90 day warranty and refund my expenses the managers response was not going to happen. It may really take 6 or 7 visits to fix a car, but I dont have the patience to go to the shop every week nor do I any longer have confidence in their ability to remedy nor honor their warranty. Google wont let me update or reply to my last post, so here is an update:The following is my last email to Midas Corporate, who claim in their last email that my issue was actually the alternator all along, which turned out to be nothing but another misdiagnosis of my car. They also admitted that this Midas WAS AWARE that my battery light was on BEFORE I drove the car off the lot, 25 minutes before the car died on me, and Midas copped out from helping me or even offering me a discount, claiming it was fine when you drove it off.My last email:Thank you for the response,Yesterday, another mechanic replaced my old alternator with a new one from autozone, and the alternator, as it turns out, is not the issue, as the battery still will not charge. And Honda Accord (2003-2007) starters almost never go bad.Unfortunately, although the explanation was thorough, you have not provided me any new insight or options as to a) fixing my car or b) getting my money back after the car was misdiagnosed......That towing is repeatedly brought up as some sort of softening of the fact that my car still isnt starting, and that I paid $500 based off a misdiagnosis to Midas, is strange.Midas said to me over the phone that they werent sure I was being honest with them when I claimed my car stopped on me. And after my car stopped on me less than half an hour after driving it off, while, to your own admission, Midas was aware of a similar issue because of the battery light turning on after fixing the original issue, and had the audacity to claim that I may have done something to the car in that time after driving it off their lot. What kind of message do you think that sends to customers?Again thank you for the explanation, but the bottom line is I paid $500 for absolutely nothing, and Midas refuses to help. I will do my absolute best to let everyone in my area know to take their business elsewhere. Below is my original post. Midas still refuses to help in any way or offer any sort of way.Unfortunately, had a terrible experience.Honda Accord wont start at all, towed it to this Midas who diagnosed it as a bad starter. So I paid them hundreds to replace it. Where do I begin..? The manager on staff was condescending and patronizing from the minute we walked in. My father and I had went in there for an issue with my car (nosiey when driving) and we told the manager exactly what was going on, and what we suspected it might be. The manager decides not to even RUN test on the car at all! He stated the muffler was the issue that the car was being noisey on the road. Well we pay for repairs as citizens do and go along our way to only find out that IT WAS NOT FIXED whatsoever. We went back to talk to the manager only to be patronized once again and he even sat there and laughed at us as we expressed our disdain with the repairs made considering the actual problem were the hub bearings. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and HIGHLY reccomend you look elsewhere when it comes to car repairs. SPEND MONEY ELSEWHERE

After that i drove my car and the sound still there. I went back to midas and told them the problem didnt solve yet. But they told me that was a rotor problem and that wouldnt cause a safety issue. The worst Midas auto garage. My car always goes to Midas. But, one time when I was on 3 month tour and needed some work to be done I took it to this midas at 570 S. Rangeline road, Carmel. Did not get any proper service. There was no body before me in morning, still I was told to wait for 5 hours just to find the reason of the check engine light. (which usually takes 4 minutes). Loose car bumper needed just a small fix. For which I was denied by mentioning that its a body work and Midas can not fix it. Next time when I went the place for oil change, I was told to wait 5 hours. (Outrageous) I took car to a near by Jiffy lube and get that done. When I came back from Carmel, I took the car to local Midas and they fixed car bumper with denying for a bit. I never faced such worse attitude from the Midas worker. and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Had a appointment at 11:30 this morning for my brakes at this joke of a business get there 20 mins early the manager I take it said they were running little behind which I told them that was fine and I was just dropping it off and was going to get lunch then come back. 40 plus minutes later I get back and my car is not in the parking lot or in the bay. I walked in and ask them where is my car and the manager goes I dont know he probably stole it. Seriously how unprofessional can you be to say something like that. When he notices Im not amused he said the mechanic took it for a test drive 15 mins later my car comes back. Once the mechanic gets back with my car he turns it off (my car is a Mazda rx8 which it has a rotary engine so you have to rev to 3000 rpms for around 10 seconds then turn off) then he trys to turn my car on again and its not starting and he keeps trying so I had to yell at the manager to tell him to stop before it floods my engine and we have a whole bigger probably on our hands. Once the mechanic get the car in the air he starts to take my tires off and the first one he drops on the ground then looks over to see if I just seen that. After all the tires are off the guy stops then inspects the cars brakes and rotors..over an hour later of not doing anything to the car the manager says Ill get your quote for the repairs 20 minutes later he hands me a paper for over 950 dollars for new brakes rotors and labor which the labor was going to be 156 dollars so where were they getting nearly 800 dollars for parts. Needless to say I told them you guys are a joke and get my car off the lift Ill go else where which by making a couple of calls I got all the parts I need for 275 dollars this place is a complete rip off dont waste your time they will try and screw you over plus they tell horrible jokes
