I am visiting from Pennsylvania and my contacts ripped in half, and I foolishly forgot a back up pair. I called village optometry and they got in touch with my optometrist back home to fax over my prescription. They gave me trial contacts free of charge! They are SO accommodating, intelligent, and diligent. The office is so beautiful and clean, I would never imagine why someone would go anywhere in the Carlsbad area other than here.

Incredible customer service! My 3 yr old got ahold of my glasses and made them unwearable. Only a few minutes at the office and they were back to new again. Highly recommend this office.

Doctor Osborne did a fantastic job! I had been using a pair of glasses I purchased at Costco with a prescription I received from Costco and I felt like I was going blind. Doctor Osborne gave me a thorough exam and determined the problem...... I needed tri focal’s! I couldn’t see! Doctor Osborne fitted me for a great pair of glasses at a great price and prescribed a transition lens that takes care of all my needs. I highly recommended staying away from the budget Costco prescription and having a professional handle it. I can see again! Thank you Doctor Osborne and staff! You can bet my family and I will be back!

Dr Osbourne has cared for my eyes for many years. He is always thorough and informative engendering great trust. He is never hurried and takes as much time as needed. Worst customer service i’ve experienced. No welcome or hello. Didn’t help me browse the area and show me options ask if i need help. Sat at her desk and didn’t treat me like a customer. I told her I was looking for some new glasses and she said “you can’t get them today it’ll take time” and took pictures and copies of my medical records and then sat back down didn’t help me find glasses but wanted my medical information? I asked for help she said “this side is male and this side is female” pointing at the opposite sides and looked back away from me. I know you don’t get glasses right away especially since i have a stronger prescription just tried to support a local small busines

His office staff is delightful and helpful, and the selection of glasses and the assistance given in choosing them is excellent. This office makes you feel valued, informed and happy about the visit. By the time I left they felt like family. The rest of my family also visited him for their eye exams upon my recommendation and they thought this office overall was fantastic too! This was my first eye exam and from the moment I walked in it was an exceptional experience, everyone was so helpful and friendly and made me feel welcomed. I definitely recommend coming here.

We tried super, super hard to become patients. The Carlsbad office was very helpful, however, advised us their new Vista office would take our insurance and therefore would have to be our go to office. That was fine. I called and spoke to someone helpful who took all my information, my insurance. The need was for my student teenage son away at school. We live in WA and needed an optician to fill a prescription for his contacts locally so it could be micromanaged by a local OD. After multiple phone calls, conversations, we were finally told that the doctor would need to see him and give him a exam before they would help us. We didnt need an exam. We had JUST had it done in detail, which is why we needed to fulfill the prescription and then make sure he can go back to secure the right fit and prescription. Was truly disappointed in the quick dismissive and mercenary attitude. I needed help for my 16 year old son, far from home, trying to manage what I could to help him locally. They didnt care. I ended up having to go to Costco for help. Truly a shame, i always like to support local business first.

I have been going here for over two and half years. Absolutely love the staff and Dr’s. I even ran late for my last appointment (I mixed up my appointment times) and they still took me well after my appointment time. That is unheard of these days. Love the lady behind the glasses counter too. She is so friendly and always finds me the cutest frames. I can’t recommend this office more.

Great hours. Nice location. The staff was very friendly. Took me in on time. Had a very thorough exam with Dr. Osborne. He actually took the time to talk to me and explain what I needed and why I needed it.

Awful place, waited for hours and Dr Osbourne diluted my eyes and INFECTED them, they got all puffy and were hurting for so long, I could not see properly. All they did was apologize and did not offer me any compensation. I had to get special drops from my own doctor to help me get rid of this infection in my eyes. I could never recommend this awful place to anyone!
