Got a beautiful skirt and ring here! It was fairly small but there was still enough room for social distancing and the staff was very nice. Recommend! :^)

Nice shop, decent prices. Staff is friendly although the fitting rooms arent open and I drove a distance, so be mindful if you need to try stuff on.

This place is awesome, its locally owned and operated and the staff here are rad. I walked away with several items all under 40.00 total!They have great deals and interesting finds. This store is definitely one of those places you could come to a hundred times and not see everything they have.

Easily the best thrift shop in Gainesville.

Great place to shop even for a reseller. The vintage fashion market is the hottest thing for all ages. The quality clothes of the vintage market straight crushes anything garbage made in China products. They have an amazing selection. I also found the motherload of Salvatore Ferragamo Heels for only $9.99. They also will buy your used vintage clothes too. Everytime I come to Gainesville to thrift to resell I come here.

This is a very nice place. I went here to sell a few things & will be going back to do some buying. Some really cute items & very nice staff. I also felt they were very fair with the items they bought from me.

Flashbacks is the thrift stores sophia from “girl boss: netflix original” shops and profits from; the thrift stores you only see in movies and tv shows based in cali or new york.your getting used/vintage clothing, accessories, and items for goodwill prices. im obsessed with this place and would highly recommend it for anyone! this place has real vintage items, clothing, and accessories. they also have some clothes and accessories of 21 century, but you definitely have to dig around. personally i love that only because this gives this store more originality to their customers!!!

I found some great pieces for my wardrobe here, and at great prices. This included a clean, perfect business jacket and skirt set! It was unreal. All the items I got were in great condition, and I couldnt find anything wrong with them, besides the store being dusty. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

True 80s vintage. Clean, well stocked and organized

I just found this place thrifting with some friends over the weekend and I fell in love! I could literally spend an entire day in the store and be happy. I left with two gorgeous dresses and a new favorite store! The lady working the counter was very nice and there were so many treasures! Definitely worth checking out. I will be back again and again!

Love this place! Buys gentle worn clothes from you, either cash or store credit. I recommend taking store credit as you get a little more money. For ladies, they always have cute dresses! Great place to find unique clothing and more

Really nice alternative to Goodwill, has a chill vibe. Sizing in the aisles was really mixed up in womens pants (went at a busy time, maybe? Around 4pm) but what really got me was the sheets for dressing room doors, twice someone opened it without saying anything. Options were limited for bigger sizes but they cant help that.

Super quirky and cool place. There are so many hidden treasures here, spanning beyond just clothing. Not to mention the prices are beyond reasonable. Glad I discovered this place.

A fun store with lots of strange finds. A large variety of used clothing from a variety of time periods as well as jewelry, accessories and some decorations. I even found a hoop skirt in the back. I can imagine that if you were putting together a costume this might be a good place to checkout​ for inspiration and supplies.

One of my favorite thrift stores. Huge selection of many different things. Perfect for both everyday clothing, vintage, and costumes. They even have some great furniture too.

Its thos simple. Just keep coming back on a regular basis till you find what you want. Tatum, Paul, Bryce and Debbie work their feet off to find us little goodies. There is stuff for people of all ages. Students love it and people struggling can find something too! I have lost track how long we have been shopping there. We are all aging together. Fun, fun and more fun!

Found lots of neat stuff, the girl Sara there was more interested in her phone then helping. But the rest of the staff was great I would come back here again. Super great store would not give them a bad review because of one lame employee.

I wish we had one of these down south.Whenever I visit my girlfriends in G-Ville, this is typically our first stop.Got a $250 pair of platform shoes there for $12, and a huge assortment of house decor/records over the years for next to nothing.

Great selection of retro to modern clothing. Great prices. Literally the only thrift/consignment store of its kind. A Gainesville staple for sure (open since 86). You just need to go check it out.

I went in on a Monday to try and sell some clothing and was told that they no longer conduct buybacks on Mondays. How inconvenient. For a business that is somewhat dependent on buybacks, I would assume they would want to make it easier for customers to sell, not a hassle. I will stick to Sandys and when that fails, good old Goodwill.

Cool place to find treasures ranging from vintage to modern. Love the jewelry selection and always get something from it. However, a lot of the clothes have small holes or stains, some of the stuff is def overpriced.

Every time I go I find something to buy whether it’s new clothing or something for my house. They have the coolest wall art and house decor.

Great deals and very friendly staff! An awesome array of items from shoes, clothing, knickknacks, furniture and more. There is always a deal to be found. Tonight we spent about $55. We bought an awesome flannel shirt (Northern Reflections) , long sleeve mens shirt (PD&C) , 10 retro matchbooks, 3 pair of flat shoes (Mossimo - a little worn, Chinese Laundry & Restricted that looked brand new!), Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars perfectly worn in and a what look like a barely worn Aéropostale jacket with toggles. If I were to buy all that brand new in store (Which will never happen. I am on a very tight budget!) that would have been roughly $250! As far as I am concerned, thats a freaking deal!

Unlike other second-hand shops in town, Flashbacks actually have REALLY FRIENDLY workers. They were helpful and never look down at the things you bring in. Given they dont pay a lot for the high-end clothes I brought in, but the prices on their racks were reasonable (and affordable) for a second-hand store.
