First review I have ever written. I was in Carlsbad this week for a conference, and my phone broke. It needed to be plugged in for it to work. Luckily, this store was just over a mile away from where I was staying, so I walked over there during a lunch break. After waiting for an hour and a half to even begin to be helped (as he was helping the people in front of me SWITCH BACK TO AT&T BECAUSE HE COULDNT FIGURE OUT AN ISSUE WITH THEIR PHONES), the employee finally looked up my information to begin searching for options. Within two minutes, I was told that my only option was to purchase a $1,200 phone. I asked about return policies, to which the employee responded with, Im not even going to sell you this phone if youre asking about return policies. It is bad for my business.Look, I am not naïve to the impact that returns have on a business, but I have been a Verizon customer for 20+ years. I simply needed a solution of some sort, and this store had no interest assisting in any way. I was even more than willing to pay the $100 restocking fee as that would have at least gotten me through the rest of the week. Whoever owns this store is not only representing Verizon, but it is representing itself as well, as it is an independent retailer. I hope that my experience with this store is simply an outlier from ownerships standards.

I was there this morning and this Miguel guy is a Theft . Don’t believe when he tells you that your phone needs major repairs. He diagnosed my phone and said everything need it to be replace that it was better to just buy a new phone . But i didn’t believe him so kept going and went straight to apple store and they diagnosed the phone and said no issues were found and that all I need was a new SIM card they gave me a new one and sure enough my phone work. I still don’t understand why Verizon hires Thefts . I will make a big complaint because he made me waste my time and my energy..

I have been waiting for six months for my trade-in credits. This store is an indirect store so there does not appear to a direct line of communication. According to Verizon Corporate, the store has yet to process the credit.

Super helpful, cant thank them enough! I was at my wits end with some phone issues, and was honestly about to give up. I decided to give it one last shot and come in, and Miguel there went absolutely above and beyond. He was so kind and patient - and not only completely solved my problem, but also made sure I was able to get my contacts back as well! So happy, thank you again :)

First and foremost, I need to express how AMAZING and knowledgeable Miguel is. Every time I have stopped in with an issue, I leave with it resolved.Not only is Miguel wonderful his staff is on point as well. I will drive from Escondido to Carlsbad just to have them work on my phone. It is definitely well worth the price of the gas.I have never been disappointed with any service or suggestion that these guys have given me. You are in wonderful hands here.

Absolutely DO NOT go to this store. I experienced the MOST horrendous customer service of my life here. The sales clerk Miguel upgraded two phone lines on my account WITHOUT account owner approval. When I went in to after the fact to sort out what happened he posed as the Store Manager and made up a bogus story saying he accepted a temporary drivers license print out as a valid ID to upgrade two phone lines on my account. He told me I authorized those two people to make changes on the account by allowing them on my Family Plan. His extreme lack of customer service and machoistic male ego were astonishing - when I wanted to leave and go speak to the two people who upgraded their phones for their side he threatened to commandeer my account further by calling corporate, claim I refused to mark the upgraded phones as lost/stolen and I would be stuck with the two new contracts.Please save your time, energy and peace of mind - go to an actual Verizon store, that follows company guidelines and will protect your account from fraud.

Since COVID I feel like I haven’t done anything but work and sit on the couch. Sure occasionally I’d go online shopping but when it comes to a phone I wanted to ask questions and have that in person interaction. I googled several Verizon stores around me and the reviews weren’t great. However, this location was everything I wanted! Friendly, caring and straight to the point. I felt like I had known John before walking in. He didn’t seem like I was bothering him which I had gotten in other stores in the past. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to upgrade or just have a few questions. Thank you again John!

The best experience I’ve had at a Verizon store to this day, the employees were very informative and did their job quickly and in good fashion. They told me everything that would happen during and after upgrading my phone so there were no surprise charges on my bill. I could also tell that they were not trying to force me into anything but instead sold me what best fit my needs, not just whatever was most expensive. It was an overall great experience and I will definitely be returning there in the future.

Probably the most enjoyable experience Ive ever had a phone store. Getting a new phone can be a headache and customer service is usually less than satisfactory, not to mention pushy and sales-y. Miguel was upfront, efficient and easy to chat with. Their staff were equally as friendly and willing to help when needed. Thanks Miguel for the great customer service! It goes a LONG WAY!

Excellent service!! Miguel is extremely knowledgeable, has lots of patience and he is very willing to help you when you need his help. He went above and beyond to help my mom in our last visit to the store and he had helped my mom few times in the past too. I highly recommend this store for any of your needs. Best experience ever! Today, we went to the Verizon Wireless in Carlsbad to switch our service to Verizon from T-Mobile due to their poor service. Prior going to the store, I had called and had talked to Jonathan. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When I went in, there were a couple people in line ahead of me, but he still took the time to let us know he was going to help us in a minute. He was awesome, we had an excellent experience and since I’m a new customer with Verizon, I hope everyone can treat customers like he does. I highly recommend you to talk to him and you will understand. Thank you Jonathan for helping my family with our phone service.

The clerks at this store are by far the most knowledgeable and patient people Ive dealt with at any store. Jonathan and Miguel helped me choose the phone that was best suited to my needs as well as helping me transfer all my stuff from my old phone to the new phone. They answered all of my questions (even the stupid ones) in such a way as i understood their answers. I wouldnt go to any other Verizon location.

Miguel Hernandez of this store was the most helpful and knowledgable when I switched from AT&T. He took the time to assist with a very complicated situation that took a lot of patience on his part. The store was officially closed at 6pm but Miguel stayed working with me until after 8. We had started at 5. Miguel was very diligent and calm even when I was exhausted. He just kept on going never getting frustrated or tired. I give 5 stars to Miguel Hernandez for his professionalism in his dedication to customer service.

Working with Johnny at the Carlsbad Verizon store made my new cell phone purchase the best experience I’ve had. He was knowledgeable, took time to review my account and saved me money after reviewing my outdated plan. Every other store I had been in rushed through and never gave me any advice or guidance. *Edited after a big misunderstanding between Verizon Customer Service and Grand Wireless was cleared up. Turns out, Verizon Customer Service gave us information that was not accurate (repeatedly), and we wrongly assumed that Verizon Customer Service was the correct party. Turns out, Grand Wireless knew Verizons policy better than Verizon Customer Service did. Thanks to Miguel and Jaime at Grand Wireless for their patience.*Friendly, knowledgeable, patient staff. They take as much time as you need to help you make a purchase with which you are satisfied. We had a problem with a new phone. And on the phone, Verizon - the company, not Grand Wireless - wrongly offered for us to keep the phone as long as we needed to until we received a new phone that was back-ordered. This created days of confusion and conflict, but through all the phone calls and emails it took to get clarity on the issue, Grand Wireless staff remained committed to trying to help us and to get to the bottom of what had happened. We are disappointed in Verizon Customer Service for misleading us but we appreciate the work Grand Wireless did to try to figure everything out for us. The people who work here are very kind, and I appreciate the extra effort they put in to make sure that we were given the correct information we needed. We have purchased two new phones here and will probably purchase three more within the next year or so, confident that any information or promises we hear from this store are *accurate*. I appreciate that a lot from a company. After spending a lot more time talking with the folks at Grand Wireless than any of us expected, I am more than confident that this team truly cares about their customers and they really know their stuff.

Worst Verizon Ever-Rip Off Artists - My 88 year mother went to this Verizon Store. Firstly their customer service is horrible and they are pretty much rip off artists. The manager told her she has to pay off her flip phone, but another customer service rep started to say, She doesnt have to pay it off. and the Manager told him to Shut Up. This is after waiting for 4 hours for the Manager. My mother visited there a few days later and she waited half a day and never got served and finally out of frustration left. I would not treat my worst enemy this poorly! :-(

I would like to write a special review for a special verizon employee. He is by far the best the most intelligent, helpful , caring individual I have ever come across in the cell phone business. I drive out of my way to work with him, buy a phone from him because he is the only one I trust and respect. Please make sure that he is rewarded and acknowledged for his excellence . Im not a Verison customer but these guys were VERY helpful with a problem I was having with my cell phone (Nokia, Android). Im a tech-savvy guy but I had a problem that had me stumped. These guys had things sorted out in just a few minutes and answered all my questions. Very impressive service!

Stay away from this store! - this is not a Verizon Corporate store and you will not have the protection of a Corporate Verizon Store or have Verizon Customer Service able to assist. They are a fraudulent, unknowledgeable and unresponsive authorized reseller of Verizon products!My wife recently bought a Samsung Note 10 plus from this fraudulent store and it was a traumatic experience! She was not treated in a legal way free of deceptions and misrepresentations. This store uses predatory practices that include the store manager!In summary1. Non-existent Troubleshooting - She explained that her phone connection occasionally cut out for a few seconds. Miguel, the salesperson said it is likely due to a part that came loose. He suggested to buy a new phone and said she had 14 days to try it and see if it fixed her phone connection. So she did. He never offered that the first step would be to troubleshoot the phone or network.2. Not disclosing the terms of the deal - When buying the phone, Miguel told her she was on some contract which she verified with Verizon as not true so she didnt worry about it. Miguel never said that he would be confiscating her old phone when she came in to pick up the new phone.3. Miguel tried to steal her old phone - She went back to pick up the new phone, transfer everything, and pay taxes. After all that was done and she was ready to leave, he told her to now forfeit her old phone, a Note 8. He said that he couldnt allow her to leave with both phones, even though one was hers and the other she just paid for. She asked for Verizons number to verify that it is true that she had to give him her phone and he refused to give her Verizons customer service number. She found it herself, called them, and they confirmed he tried to steal the phone and that it was hers. Apparently, Miguel cons customers into giving them their phones and then I suspect he resells them on sites such as Craigslist or similar.4. Misrepresented financing: My wife wanted to pay in full but Miguel wouldnt let her. He said, if you want to, you can call me to pay the rest but not before 9/11 after the 14 days is up. Later she found documents he submitted to Verizon with the customer agreement but it only had his signature on it, not hers because he never disclosed the financing he established without her consent. A Verizon representative at a real Verizon corporate store indicated that Miguel likely secretly financed the phone make a greater commission.5. Miguel misrepresented her insurance situation to sell more insurance: When the receipt was printed, Miguel told her to circle that she still want to continue with insurance. She didnt have insurance! Miguel lied to about her having insurance, presumably to try to sell her insurance. She said if she has insurance she wanted her phone fixed. At that point he said she doesnt have insurance.6. Miguel breached the return policy contract by refusing to allow the phone to be returned - She returned the phone in 7 days and he refused the return as he said it was scratched. It was not scratched to the visible eye. She returned it in much better than the contract states which is like new, not new condition. She essentially didnt use it except to make a few test calls. We took it to a real Verizon corporate store to inspect and they said they would have no problem in returning the phone in the condition it was in. Miguel used this as his default excuse on returns. This store has no intention to allow a return of anything you purchase from there ever!I called the manager 5 times to resolve the problem. He is a coward and would not call me back. The execution of this entire sale end to end was simply not legal on so many levels and there are many avenues of protection that will be used to resolve this. Im guessing people either dont know they are being conned or dont have time to deal with it. It will catch up to them.Go to a CORPORATE Verizon store not an independent dealer.

It is uncommon to find such competent and friendlyService as I haveenough encountered today at the Verizon store in Carlsbad.Both Miguel Hernandez and Mathew ATTO were very focused on my account, saved me about $70.00 per month and sent me on my way with new equipment. Customer service is alive and well!

Store lies about Their promotion Jonathan told us I promise that it was buy one get one free and now there is no promotion code to be applied .The store is a scam and theyre Liars and deceitful do not go to the store choose another Verizon they are not affiliated with Verizon so when you call for help from Verizon they are not able to help you or change anything . The manager told me to come into the store and he would be able to help me when I got there he told me he would not be able to help me because I do not have anything in writing saying that it was a buy one get one free that day and too bad for me even though I was told that it was and it would be applied to my account on my next bill do not trust them😡
