Typical vzw perfection. No complaints, super nice staff, had everything I wanted and he was able 5o answer every question, no problemo.Only complaints are regarding pricing of cases n random accessories but thats not a reflection of this individual location, but of vzw as a whole

So far so good on a pretty complicated order. 2 phones, 1 in stock, 1 not, porting over 2 numbers, plus a Palm companion. James was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Hopefully the rest of the transaction will go as smooth as the first part.

I have been using this location for years. I have always had amazing service and care. My phone died last week. Cori helped me through the whole process and out the door. He also answered a lot of questions that I had. Later I had a small issue that required returning to the store. Cori was busy and I was helped by another professional who assisted me beyond what was necessary. Seriously - also there are 2 employees there I have known for over 2 years which is great to have continuity in employees.Today - January 2019 I had some significant questions as my phone had been hacked. Scott was amazing!! So helpful and PATIENT~! I had some serious issues and had to leave on business the next day. Scott made sure everything was working as it should before I walked out the door. He didnt have to do this and could have said - too bad, so sad - but since I have been a customer in this store for years he went above and beyond! Thanks Scott!!!

Kerry has been soooooo helpful, pleasant and kind on multiple occasions when I have gone in for different things. And so patient when I tried my password 11 different times! He helped me figure out what memory card to get so I didnt overload my phone with baby pictures and helped me choose the perfect phone for me. Kerry is the Best!

I bought a new, very expensive phone from this store. I paid cash. I asked about the return policy and they never mentioned there was a problem with cash purchases.After two days of frustration, I decided I liked my old phone better. I returned what I had bought. I had to eat a $35 restocking fee, the $40 activation fee, and $50 for the screen protector. So I was only due $107 refund.They would not pay it to me, claiming they didnt have that amount in the store. This was at the end of the business day and I found it very unlikely that they had no cash. I offered to take a partial refund but they refused. They said they would send me a check even though I paid in cash.I explained that I did not have a checking account and that a check would be useless to me. They did not care. I tried to talk to a manager but he kept ducking my calls. Amusingly enough, every time I called, I was told he was doing a bank drop. Yet they could not pay me my $107 due to having no cash.It has been six days now and after numerous phone calls to the store, I do not have my cash nor have I received a check. I cant wait to get out of doing business with Verizon. This is not the first time they have given completely unsatisfactory customer service. All the store personnel care about is getting people on contracts.If you are looking for a cell phone provider, I would go with anyone else but Verizon.UPDATE: I did not receive my refund for 16 days. That is over two weeks to refund a cash purchase. Totally unacceptable.

Its unfortunate the sales reps get paid commission because customer service is definitely not a priority. I went in to upgrade my phone and was given a plan promotion so Verizon can keep their customers longer. The promotion seemed to be too good to be true and upon receiving my first bill, this was confirmed. I asked both sales reps several times how much my bill would be and also to confirm that I would not be getting charged extra for the tablet that was supposedly free with a plan upgrade. Turns out my bill is significantly higher than what they said and I was also getting charged a monthly fee for the tablet.

As the Verizon corporate store in Carlsbad by the mall has reinvented itself and significantly scaled down its customer service, I went to this authorized retailer in the village. They were able to solve a problem with my phone in 5 minutes, where it took the official corporate tech support one week, two replacement phones and hours and hours -- and still were not able to solve. Its really nice to have customer service once again. This is now the store I will go to when I need something.

These people will LIE to you (this store, not verizon)They sell you plans with multiple hidden fees and contracts. I have multiple examples. I they even sold me a plan for international travel that was 3x the amount. Verizon got a hold of me when I was abroad to fix the situation.My advice- Go to a corporate location. I love verizon but the manager and workers are hustlers. Ive stopped countless people from making the same mistake and redirected them to a real verizon retailer.Ive also caught them browsing social media while I have been patiently waiting with them to find solution to an issue I had. Then I started to notice is happen more and more throughout the years Ive been coming here.

This store lied to us! You are better off going to a version store.My boyfriend and I went in 3 weeks ago to do a switcher credit. I have 3 lines with Verizon, I updated my son to an iPhone 7 and added 2 more lines to the account from AT&T.We met with James and he was and said that verison would take the other carrier phones. We showed him some minor damage to one of the devices and he said it would not be a problem to turn it in for a full refund.HE LIED.Verizon would not take them back and AT&T charged my account $1,000!I went back to see if they can help me and have been waiting for the DM Darrell to call me back. He emailed me 2 weeks ago saying he is doing everything he can.... I have emailed and called with zero response. I went into the store yesterday to follow up and he has gone dark.I will write a negative review every day until I get some resolution to this.All you want is the money and to hit your quota....very upsetting that it has come to this.10/3/17this company sucks!! they still have not called me back to fix my situation. I would go to a real version store. They are only an authorized dealer which means they will tell you what you want to hear and lie to you. They are liars all they care about is making a quota!

I would recommend to all Verizon customers to ONLY go to corporate stores, not franchise stores. The other Carlsbad location is a corporate store, the employees have better training and knowledge of their products and accounts.When this store first opened, it was the only store I went to. They had great service, made great deals, and were always very knowledgeable. Flash forward 3 years, the service is so bad. Ive had two bad encounters here. The first one my dad and brother went in to get new phones. The iPhone 8 was out of stock, so they placed an order. My dad asked if the iPhone X was in stock, and they said yes so my dad and brother decided to get the X instead. The associate had to call over other associates to figure out if it was even possible to cancel the iPhone 8 order that had been placed, I dont think this should be hard since you can return the phone after you get it anyway. And the customer was trying to pay even more money. I went in with a Samsung s8 Plus I got on Amazon to set it up. The associate told me the phone wouldnt work on Verizon. When I told him I had just got the same phone for my boyfriend, who also has Verizon, and it had been set up correctly; the associate told me he knew what he was doing and it wasnt going to work. He also told me the SIM card cost $10, even though they are free at corporate stores?So I went into a corporate store, and they set up my s8 in under 3 minutes. So I guess he didnt really know what he was doing.There were several employees right outside the store taking breaks to use their vape pens by the door, and no one seemed very experience. For whatever reason, this store has gone downhill.

My 2 year old Iphone 6 died mid morning on a Friday. I immediately stopped my busy day and went to this Verizon store for assistance on how to get it to turn back on. The Sales person there, James, told me he was seeing a lot of this. He said the updates/software my phone asks me to do are incompatible with the iphone 6 and this was causing the phone to shut down.I was shocked to hear that Apple would ask me to update my phone with software that would shut it down.The only option/solution he offered was to purchase a new iphone 7.He said I had an “Upgrade” on my account thus my phone would cost $27.50 a month for 24 month which equals $660.00. I questioned this as that did not sound like an earned “Upgrade” to me. The manager, Ryan, was standing next to James and he confirmed what James was quoting me.As I needed a working phone ASAP I reluctantly purchased the phone.2 days later my son asked me if I pressed the on/off button on side of phone and the home button simultaneously. I did and Voila! my phone was working again! How could, James and Ryan, the Sales People who represent Verizon not know to do this?I found out that this store is an Authorized Retailer of Verizon and they are NOT there to help you. They are there to sell you a phone…at a full price.I returned the iphone 7 and was charged a $70 restocking fee and $50 for the screensaver that was applied.I called Verizon and was told with my “Upgrade” and Plan a new phoneshould have cost me $199. Verizon refunded me the money that the store did not and apologized for the store.

Customer service was awful, I had to go in twice to have the screen protector placed since they kept covering the front camera. Also, I am currently on the phone with verizon since they included a free tablet with my purchase which now shows zero promotion and I am paying for the tablet outright with A NEW LINE that I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR!
