Went to this Sephora today and couldn’t enjoy the experience here. It seemed like we’ve been racially profiled by a particular employee and made our visit unwelcomed. We still ended up buying products here but never again.

Small, selection is limited and has a dirty feel.It is very unorganized and the customer service is terrible. Not one smile from the girls and no one asked if I needed help with anything, not even a hello. Luckily I already knew what I needed and what shades.The displays are dirty and in some, there are empty broken boxes. This was my second time here and I was giving my first experience the benefit of the doubt but its safe to say I will not be back.

I have to give one star because of an employee by the name Mariela making myself and my family feel uncomfortable. Besides that Samantha was very friendly and helpful, i would go to her for beauty advise again.

Not inside JCP. New store with awesomely friendly staff. Didnt have what I was looking for but they ordered it with free shipping delivered to my home.

I came in looking to exchange some foundations I bought and the cashier that helped me today was super sweet and helpful, I wish I would have got her name but she had the cutest press on purple nails! I really appreciate the great customer service as I am usually on the other end providing it, it was nice to receive it today so thank you! 🙂

Employees are rude and unprofessional at this location. Save yourself the headache and just go to the Escondido JCP Sephora. Their employees appear to be more knowledgable about products and are held to a higher standard of customer service.

I come to my second haircut and perm with Mina. So excited! She is always good at hair style design and make me pretty! I believe she is always my first choice.

I dont think Ive ever been disappointed at a Sephora. Then again I always know what Im looking for when I go in there. But the times I have asked for help or asked for a suggestion, theyve always been so helpful

Carlos and Vivi are both amazing sweethearts from out of this world. Ive been there twice in two months. Carlos, the assistant manager is THE bomb!! He always teaches/shows me how to apply whichever product it is that I want help with. And Vivi was more than happy to show me which brand & colors of eye palette she was wearing. Basically, the customer service was very friendly and well educated.

Always willing to help, they color match your foundation, you can even get a sample so you can try it for a few days and come back later to purchase. Everyone is so friendly too, the guy in there was very patient.

Way, wat too small, really cramed in JC Pennys. Like a closet.Wont go back

Terrible customer service on Sephora and in the whole JC Penny Store.I called Sephora because I wanted to know if they carried Tom Ford Eyeliner. When you call the number connect to JCPenny and option 6 is for Sephora. Nobody answered, I always go a message that the person your trying to reach is unavailable. So I call the operator at JCPenny and no answer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were busy but I called 6 times no answer. I tried the drapery dept no answer, I tried the shoe dept no answer. No wonder JCPenny is going under. Doesnt anybody in the who store wonder why they dont get phone calls? Because there phone system does not work. Well they just lost a good customer. Ill take my business else where.

First, this location stopped offering any kind of custom make-up from Nov-Dez, and now I am trying to rebuy my foundation and its out of stock. Good that can be bad luck, I get that. But than they dont even allow me to purchase the tester either....so she offered me a sample. Great, but that will give me only 1-2 uses and online orders take 7 days?! So, I asked if I could have a second sample. Only afte the supervisor said, sure the 1st lady gave me a 2nd sample, as her initial answer was: No, we only give out one sample. Its very sad what this Sephora location has come to... I am used to a way higher standards of customer service with this company! If that doesnt improve I will start rather purchasing with Ulta.

In my opinion prices are a little high. Very popular counter. Id rather be looking at the Jewerly section. 😁

I decided to get my makeup done here , and it was done by Carlos. I was pleased with the Results and plus he was very friendly/funny as a person he’s just great overall !

Choose another location. I visited this store twice to see if they had a product in stock in my shade. Both times, literally no inventory was on the shelf. The stock drawers had more of what inventory they did have (still not in my correct shade) but no one bothers to put it out. It just shows me there is a lack of attention by employees and management for a product to remain out of stock over a 60-90 period.

Friendly staff quick service

Worst store Ive ever been into. I have been here multiple times and each time there is only 1 or 2 cash registers open, and they always say their system is slow or down. You will wait in line for 20 minutes at least. Employees are not helpful at all, have no sense of urgency and are not trained in make up. The store is small, cramped and messy. They never have anything in stock. They need to go out of business. Its terrible. Stick to Ulta, theyre not great but theyre way better than this place

Everyone at the Carlsbad Sephora are very freindly. As busy as the employees are, they still manager to make my shopping experience s great. I love Sephora.

This is the worst Sephora Ive ever been to, and it should be closed down. They dont have much merchandise to begin with, but on top of it, they dont restock the merchandise they do carry. They have very few people working there, so you cant get someone to help you. I will continue to make the drive to the store in LaJolla because this store SUCKS!
