I have extremely high standards and this is the only shop I trust. The owner “Matt” is by far one of the most stand up mechanics I have ever meet. Matt and his team are extremely honest and they do high quality work with integrity. These are values that are extremely difficult to find these days with a business, let alone a car repair facility. You can usually determine how good a restaurant is based on how full their parking lot is, the same holds true with a good mechanic. Never once have I seen an empty lot during the week at Midas and typically they are parked two rows deep. Not all Midas Shops are created equal, the owner makes the difference , and the Midas in Carlisle is A+.

I had to find a new shop when the shop I had been using for 4 years lost , and couldnt find a replacement , their state inspector . I had put out a request on next door for recommendations and after receiving many , many , I decided to try Midas in Carlisle since there were several people who were happy with their service . Their location is also a plus . I am very happy with their service and prices. They are very efficient and helpful . As I was sitting in the waiting area , I could observe how other people were treated by the employees . Matt and others seem to do their best to help customers find the best approach to repair their vehicles.

Iwas referred by a family friend...The staff was very professional, they greeted me with a welcoming smile. Unfortunately, they couldnt fit me in as Id hoped, they were booked up until October 7th and I was to return to NY the next day. However, it showed that many were willing and in need of their services.

I was extremely happy with the service and prices that I received, and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for oil changes, brake changes, and inspection. The recommendations made by the chief mechanic were honest, and he did not try to trick me into getting any expensive but unnecessary work performed.

Needed 4 tires mounted and balanced asap due to a damaged sidewall tire. Even though they were busy, they made time to get me in and get the job done. Very thankful and excellent service.

Called in with what I believed was an electrical issue. Lights and electricity in car flickering on and off. Diagnostics were free. At first they thought it was the alternator and went ahead starting to replace it, but after seeing it was acting the same way, they took the part back out and put in my old one. Did not charge me for the labor as it was their mistake. Said I could come in the next afternoon and if I waited a few more hours they could do a more in-depth examination. Ended up finding the source of the electrical issues - a loose wire. Fixed it and my total was around $120. Seemed like a great deal to me considering how many hours they put into it. Even had me walk into the garage once they had fixed it and showed me right where some of the engine vibration was coming from. I really appreciated them showing me so I could better understand. At the end of the visit, I was just happy to be able to drive at night again! Very satisfied.

From what I can tell, this is the most popular car mechanic shop in all of Carlisle, and it totally deserves it! The mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly, and always seem to be wanting to help, not gouge your wallet. Prices are more than reasonable and despite being so popular, they keep wait times to a manageable level.Honestly my only complaint is that they need a bigger parking lot!

My rear brakes were complety shot and they had me in and out within the hour. Wonderful service and the owner is an honest guy.

These folks are not only efficient, but cheerful as well. Its a place where things simply work and work well. Theyve done routine maintenance and some not-to-routine repairs on my cars. If you ask them to do something that they arent equipped to handle, theyll honestly tell you they cant do it rather than do a botched job. Ive been going there for over 20 years and I just found out one of my neighbors has too.

This Midas store is trustworthy, remembers its customers by name, and provides quality auto-repairs without breaking the bank. Even in a pinch, this Carlisle location will fit customers into their busy schedule and with an always packed parking lot, this garage is obviously doing something right...(i.e. lots of returning satisfied customers and same loyal hard-working employees for many years)...Really hard to find these days...

We pulled in yesterday on our way to Florida when we found out that our AC wasn’t working. They ordered a relay switch put it in the car and we were on our way in 20 minutes! Total bill $29. Nice people very honest you can’t go wrong here.

Ive been going to Midas exclusively for the past 6 years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable people. I would trust them with any repairs my vehicle might need. I dont go there all the time, but I go at least once a year for my inspection and every year they remember who I am. I highly recommend.

Friendly service, Brian at the front desk was very professional and remembered me by name even though I met him once before. Brought my vehicle in for inspection, the mechanic was able to clearly explain what needed to get fixed (brakes and rotors) which I was able to do myself and bring back the next day. They checked everything out and gave me an inspection sticker. I should mention that they were extremely busy both days but managed to fit me in without an appointment within a reasonable time. Its rare to find such a customer-oriented mechanic.

Very disapointed got radiator leak fixed and then wiper fuse was blown when they said they were done with work. He did repair it but now its making another noise coming from the dash that was not there before they worked on it and had to add another container of antifreeze. He said make another appointment to get it fixed because they didnt work on any of that. But it wasnt doing it before it went into the shop so?

My 18 yr old daughter and 2 friends were traveling to WV on Friday night and they broke down in Carlisle. We live out of state and had never been there. We started looking online for someplace open at 6:30 Friday night and there wasnt anything. We could only find 1 place open on Saturday. Midas! We had the car towed there and called them at 7:00 am. They were completely booked yet they found time to look at our car. Matt was very nice and although never made us any promises he was able to diagnose it, find the part on a Saturday, and fix it. He told us he wont ask his guys to stay after closing, 1:00, so if they couldnt get it done it would have to wait until Monday. He called us 2 hours later and it was finished and he did it for less that what he had quoted us. Thank you Matt for turning this ruined weekend into just a delay and making 2 worried parents feel so much better and very grateful.

What a great experience. I visited Midas of Carlisle PA for standard brake service. The guys did a great job with appointment scheduling and the service of my truck. A few days later I noticed a loud squeal in my rear brakes. I immediately brought the truck back to Midas where Matt the owner did an awesome job with ensuring my customer status and helped me right away. The diagnosis was a bad set of new brake pads, occurring very seldom with this type of work. Matt fixed the problem immediately and had me on my way! This is truly amazing customer service! Took a vehicle to here to get a PA state inspection & emissions test. I had previously taken the vehicle into a different shop that didnt preform emissions testing in Perry county & was told that I only needed brakes replaced in the front to pass. I replaced the brakes & ended up at Midas just for the emissions test & Midas tells me I need $1000+ worth of work for the vehicle to pass state inspection. They told me that I needed parts that I know for a fact do not need to be replaced. Dishonest mechanics!!! Dont believe me? Take your car here for an Inspection & see for your self.
