Great local business! They have a nice selection of items in the showroom or can order for you. Dont let the small appearance of the street front their you. They are worth the stop. Harold was a great help, does not use the hard sell, and is truly friendly. He made me feel like he was on my side and tried to help me get the best value. His colleague, Jeff (sp?) was nice and helpful, too. They service everything they sell. Great local place to support!

This is a very friendly business. Because of Covid all retail stores have issues getting supplies and merchandise for customers. This family owned establishment goes above and beyond to satisfy clientele. Steve is very knowledgeable and has a great memory for detail in what is needed. Steve was my salesman at Carlisle electronics & appliance center first time ever knowing of this buissness as i am from hours away, i called and he was very polite, very well spoken, and had a great personality!! On the phone call i felt as i had knew Steve personally and had been a long time customer of Carlisle Electronics and Appliances!!! STEVE invited me to come in and look at their washer and dryers. Upon arriving he was very happy to stop what he was doing and welcome me and then listen to my concerns and needs he was VERY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE on every brand they had to offer and explained in detail all the positives and negatives of each 1 compared to the others!!! Carlisle Electronics is wonderful. I tried to order an appliance from a big box store and they couldn’t get it for three weeks. Tried Carlisle Electronics, and they got me the same model and installed it in one week - and the total price was less than I would have paid elsewhere. Installers were complete professionals and did an excellent job with an installation that turned out to be more challenging than anyone had planned. This will be my first stop for appliances from now on.

Youll note that Carlisle Electronics has terrible ratings on both Facebook and Angies list. We just found out why. We decided to give this local business our business instead of one of the big chains (Lowes and Home Depot are both in town), and what a huge, huge mistake that was. The (very expensive) dishwasher we bought has the worst smell you can imagine, and Carlisle Electronics says its the plumbing and not the dishwasher. We had a Kenmore hooked up for 15 years before this, and it never, NOT ONCE, smelled. Carlisle Electronics says were stuck with this dishwasher, and they seem to be in league with Bosch on that point. So please, support local businesses. But if you want to buy an appliance and not have to worry about the store honoring its sales and appreciating its customers, stick with Home Depot and Lowes and avoid Carlisle Electronics at all cost.

We recently purchased a new refrigerator from them and couldnt be happier with the service! Due to COVID appliances can be hard to come by, but they had exactly what we wanted in stock. It was on hold with another couple, but they called us right away when the couple decided on a different model. They even searched the warehouse stock to see if any other colors were available to choose from. The purchase process was easy and the delivery was made on time. They also took away our old fridge for free. Unlike the big box stores, they know their product and can also service them. I will definitely return when I need to make another appliance purchase.

After having a real bad experience with one of Box Stores in Carlisle and their 3rd party delivery, I had enough and decided to go check out Carlisle Appliances Center. If you want more bang for your money along with more personable - professional service, youll want to check these guys out. They are the REAL DEAL. Comparable prices and great service from start to finish.

My stepfather first recommended this place to me when I needed a new dehumidifier. His recommendations have always been spot on, and this one was no exception. Harold made sure I had the right size for my basement and even took the old one to recycle and dispose of. I really love their customer service and product knowledge. I now plan to shop there first for all my appliances needs. No more big box stores for me!

My Moms fridge stopped working last Saturday night. She spent Sunday contacting the box stores trying to get a replacement that was the right size and could be delivered asap. She had no luck. Monday she called Carlisle Electronics. They had what she needed in stock. She bought it at lunch time and they delivered it the same day. She is beyond thrilled! She said everyone that helped her were angels. Thank you Carlisle Electronics for taking good care of my parents!

Went with my daughter to look at washers and dryers. Staff was very knowledgeable of the products they sell along with an on staff repairman. Great prices and selection of top brand appliances. They also are flexible with install and the delivery installation charge is already included. We plan to come back for future appliance purchases.

Great service, pleasant to deal with. We’ll be buying our appliances here from now on. Bought a Napoleon 525 grill, quite possibly the “perfect grill.” Temp control is amazing. We’ve done steaks, smoked ribs, BBQ chicken, chops, and burgers. Cooks fast with even, high temp that sears the outside when you want, meat stays moist and juicy. Easy clean-up with removable drip-pan, grease trap, and burner guards. Best grill we’ve ever had. Not cheap, but well worth it.

What a great place to purchase appliances !! Harold was so knowledgeable and patient while I explained what I wanted and why. He explained all my options and helped me make great choices for my new kitchen. I ended up buying all my appliances from them as I got a better total price than the big box stores could offer. So happy I went there!!

Weve been dealing with these folks off and on since the early 1980s without ever having any problems. Weve purchased TVs, Grills, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, and home theater systems over that time and have only had the best customer service with all of them. Recently, my family needed a new gas range, the oven controller on the old one simply died of old age. Carlisle Electronics and Appliances was able to offer a suitable model from stock, delivering it the same day enabling dinner to be served. Highly recommended based on years of experience.

Over the years, we have purchased a number of appliances from Harold and Jeff. We have also been talked out of a purchase when they advised us that the trouble we were having with our TV ( purchased elsewhere years ago) was really a cable issue and could be and was easily resolved. Their products are top notch, and their prices compare well with the big box stores. The most important difference is their honesty and their highly competent and reliable service.

Really should change their name to Carlisle appliance center. They dont deal with anything electronic besides appliances. Cant buy fuses, cant buy cables, but you can buy appliances.
