The Carbondale Plaza Tire managed to get me in, and valve stem fixed without an appointment in under 1.5 hours after the Murphy location was booked. Very quick and professional, especially during Covid times.

Got my oil changed. The customer waiting with me had asked for a service on their car that they actually didn’t need yet. The mechanic totally helped out by explaining that and not just selling them an unnecessarily expensive piece! I was very impressed by that, will definitely come again!

It was recommended that I come here after experiencing problems after a 2 1/2 road trip for a wedding. The customer service and the timeliness of my repair could not have been better. From the woman who registered me to James who explained the process it made for a pleasant experience . If I lived in the same state I would be a regular customer .

I highly recommend this place for college students and anyone else. They have great prices and friendly staff. They even have a female technician, which I thought was great. Overall, a great place to go especially if you’re a girl. They won’t scam you out of your money like other places. Will definitely be coming back.

Plaza Tire always treats me with respect. Their estimates are always what they say they are. I had used another tire store for several years because their prices were less but in the long run they were more expensive because the mechanics were not as experienced or as knoweldgeable as plaza mechanics are.Dont be deceived by lower prices because lower prices are not always what they seem.Go with plaza

Great and fast. I don’t know much about cars or tires in general. They explained exactly what I needed and what would be best. They close at 1 on Saturdays and I got there around noon. They were quick and supper friendly!

I had a nail in my tire and road side assistance came and changed and put my little spare on. The gentlemen recommend the Plaza Tire in Carbondale to get my tire fixed and changed back. I was greeted by a young lady and she said they would be glad to fix it. Since this was my first visit she took my personal information- name, address, telephone number etc. it didn’t take long at all and the waiting room was quite comfortable. The repair fee was very reasonable and I will remember the quality of service I received if I am ever in need of this type of service.

One of the best plaza service centers around. The staff is very responsive. You won’t have to just stand there and wait forever for an employee to help you. I always had great luck with the quality of work. I never had to go back and have to have something fixed. The mechanic there really knows what he is doing.

Had a 4:00 appointment for tires. They were so backlogged that it was 4:45 before they brought my car back. They were finally done at 5:30. They staff was friendly and the waiting room was clean but freezing cold. When I got in my car to leave I noticed that the low tire pressure light was still on. I went back in and talked to the service tech, and he assured me that the light would go off once I started driving my vehicle. I proceeded to drive home and the light never went off, and my car is still notifying me over and over of low tire pressure. So I just checked and all four of my tires are low, ranging between 20 and 25 PSI. My tires should be at 34 PSI. Im sorry but after waiting an hour and a half and paying over $650, I expect them to fill up the tires with the right amount of air. I know thats not something huge but it is totally annoying. Now Ive got to haul out my air compressor and finish the job that I paid them to do.

The guys here in Carbondale were awesome. I brought them a truck that has been sitting for 5 years and they knocked out the brakes and tires for me. I was on a tight deadline to get this vehicle home and they made it possible. I didn’t have an appointment and they still worked it out. Great attitudes make all the difference and they all had that. After having an eventful morning of finding out we had a tire going flat, me and my husband called and spoke to Kendall. He answered every question we had over the phone, which led us to show up shortly after. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and begun the paperwork process. The Assistant Manager Jim and Kendall were both prompt, respectful and helped us with everything we had questions with. The work on our car was done by Taylor and was done quickly, and efficiently. They had us on our way in 30 minutes, and gave us copies of our paperwork and instructed us on everything we needed to know for after our appointment today. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. We will definitely return and use Plaza Tire service from now on. We highly recommend!

Around 11:15 I blew a tire several blocks from Plaza, drove there on rim. Talked to Jim, left car there, he called me hour later reccomend 4 new tires I said yes. By 3 oclock I had new tires. He was very busy but fit me in, I am impressed! Very nice man very good service.

James, who took care of me up front, I asked at the last minute if Jerry would have time to change my oil after a major break line repair. He said hed have to see because they were short handed today and had a lot of oil changes scheduled. Well #1, they both expected me to be pretty well most of the day, only do to the severity of my truck. But I arrived at a little before 8am and Jerry took it in on time and I was out at 11:29am with my oil changed as well. I will tell you this, they are a very busy store, but they are honest and do great work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I will continue to go to the Carbondale store. And I want to say a big thank you them.

I had got tires elsewhere and was told I needed an alignment. I made and appointment with Plaza Tire. They were super friendly when I called and worked around my work schedule to get me in. When I got there they were extremely busy but still welcomed everyone as they walked in the door. When they took my vehicle back they looked over it and came back to let me know my vehicle did not need an alignment that everything was good on it. Not only were they very friendly, they are also honest!

The repair person took great detail to examine the tire not only for the leak but overall condition. The tire was removed from the rim, patched then care was taken to properly reinstall and rebalance.

I have been using Plaza for over 20 years. Its the only place I take all my vehicles. Prompt professional service every time!

I don’t live in Southern Illinois anymore, but I love this business and was glad to get tires here today. The techs are professional and trustworthy. I feel like you get a better quality of care and personal touch here than you do at some of the national chains or department stores that have tire and auto centers; plus the techs at Plaza Tire don’t seem miserable.

Yesterday, 5-7-21, I went to my usual Marion store due to a tire warning icon on my 09 Smart Cabrio. Ive bought multiple set of tires & protection plans for my family cars & service all the way back into the middle late 90s for my business fleet. The service tech vas right on the job equalizing the nitrogen pressures & noticed my right front valve was cracked, could leak, & needed fixed. Within the hour I called asking to be worked in Saturday as I had no spare. I was told I had to take the tire off & leave it with them was the ONLY WAY. Ive been disabled for 12 years & couldnt possibly remove & replace a tire when repaired. I immediately called the Carbondale store that I also use with a warm welcome to bring it in any time before 1pm closing & they would take care of me & they did this morning. I told them they earned my future family tire business for their kindness & fast fix I needed today..

Called on a Saturday morning to see if they had any appointments left that day to repair a tire that had a slow leak. Jim said no, but that they could fit me in if I was ok with hanging out with them for a bit. When I arrived he said it would be about an hour. His estimate was very accurate, which was fine with me, I was thrilled they could work me in. I was very impressed with Jims customer service skills, he was very friendly with everyone but also super efficient. I didnt ask about price, because it needed to be fixed, I was pleasantly surprised by the final cost. I will certainly continue to take my tire needs to Plaza Tire Service! Great service and fast too! Not only did they fix the problems with my tires but, as a one stop shop, I got my oil changed at the same time. They even topped off my fluids at no additional charge just for good measure! My truck runs great and I was back on the road in no time -- no more shimmy and no more leaky tires!

I get all my tires at Plaza, and recommend them to anyone else. Their prices are good and they are quick, with super friendly service.You can get cheaper tires at wally world, but only on the bargain basement stuff. For decent tires, they are really close on price.The only thing I can think I would want is a lift to work in the morning, but seeing as they usually get it done in an hour or so, I guess most folks wait there.

I just picked my car up from here . I got in and started driving and my alignment is definitely messed up . Just looks like they threw a new tire on and didn’t check anything else . I will be calling in the morning .

Quick service fixed my dads car quick

Very busy and had to wait over an hour for a tire rotation. Manager was apologetic and Compton my service. I would give higher rating but his staff were not wearing masks and I had to stand out in the hot parking lot for protection. I usually love this place. I hope they can do better.
