Great store, for one great reason... They couldnt have a better employee than Chris. While at 41st laundromat, I also visited the liquor store. In the midst of Covid the atmosphere was gloomy everywhere. But walk into 41st liquor...people are friendly,laughing and happy thanks to Chris. Great professional, customer service!! Even tho its a little further from my home, I always shop there for the great service. Thank you Chris!!

I was looking for Pisco and they carry four options. The owner immediately pointed me to them and we had a pleasant though brief conversation. It looked to be a decently stocked liquor store. The brick front of the store is dated and, in my view, ugly, but I went to get the foundation ingredient to make Pisco sours, not for the view. Club Bev (seemingly always out of Pisco) referred me - class move.

Knowledgeable staff, friendly, safe ( pandemic safety compliant ) and fast. Even if I dont know what Im looking for Im in and out in less than 5 minutes.Im rarely on this side of town, and it has been at least a month since my last visit but the clerk rememered my and told me what I got last was in stock and on sale.Fantastic, and sold ( Knob Creek Whiskey 2 pack, Bourbon and Rye ).Worth the trip when I have to go to Santa Cruz!

Ive been here a handful of times over the years. Recently, however, theyre under new ownership and the people Ive encountered at the register are very cool! This place has a massive selection and they sell lotto, which is my gig. Always open parking spots, and its fairly easy to get to.

This place has awesome an awesome inventory of selections and hard to find drinks. The people that work in there are very nice and helpful.

OK... the shop keeper is a little elitist, but he really does know his stuff. Need a good bottle of wine to go with that special dish? He can pick out the perfect match! Also - he has some low cost great finds (my favorite $8.99 Rose was recommended by him). I am a huge fan!

This business does not support local charities, I have been a regular customer here for many years and was treated so rudely that I will never come back in. I even bought a bottle of nice wine before asking if they would be willing to help a local family fighting child cancer. I understand that as a business you can’t help everyone all the time, but you don’t have to be a total douche bag about it ...Don’t shop here in less you want to help a bunch of jerks

Excellent selection of wine and beer here. Extremely knowledgeable people. Its my go to spot to get odd liqueurs etc. Its a really nice high end liquor store.

As a french native, this store is far my best reference (in whole Santa Cruz) in quality and diversity ; i know i will find what i want as well discover new things with always helpful advice from the owner who really knows a lot. This kind of store is more like those with quality customer service we find in Europe where the purpose is for an excellent product to satisfy the client, versus....what we find to often around here!

I enjoy coming to this liquor store. They always have such personable attitudes, wanting to broaden your horizons. They have a huge selection and have non-alcoholic novelty sodas as well.

A really nice selection of IPAs and pale ales. Parking is not my favorite, but the store its self is a 5 star.

They have a nice selection of spirits, but there is nothing to buy here that is not alcoholic, which isnt bad I guess.

This store is not huge like many boast to be, but what they dont have in size they more than make up for in selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and be it beers wine or the hard stuff, they have incredible selection, especially considering the alternatives.I have never walked away empty handed from this place
