Great place to save money 💰! Many items to choose from!

This Dollar Tree is nice, neat and small. It dosent have any refrigerated or frozen food. The checker was polite and friendly. I was easily found the Tyme I was looking for, along with some snacks. They have plenty of parking and of course wheelchair and handicapped access.

Like the $1.00 kleenx. Never buy their cleaning products. Nasty junk! Customers are usually polite except a few once ln awhile. Employees work hard and are very courteous.

This is my favorite Dollar Tree. The store is clean and well organized (for a $store), and they have a great Craft and holiday section. I can get most of what I need here- I just bought a bunch of fluffy socks and theyre awesome. If you need kitchen stuff, toiletries or need party supplies, come here first! Theres no reason to pay more than a dollar...esp these days. Thanks dollar store for making my life pop on my budget!

Im not a big fan of buying foreign products, but I do what I have to do to survive and for the most part its a good value and even more importantly the young lady from Salinas working the cash register was super nice

DT is where I go for arts and craft supplies. Today it was stuff for tye dyeing.

Definitely not as good as the dollar store on Mt. Hermon . Less than half the size.

Very unpleasant experience!The staff is really rude, esp Kendra ! She let me in with a face shield and then half an hour later she asked me to leave the store because my face shield isn’t good enough and when I asked to talk to the manager she said there’s not one ! It was embarrassingI’m wondering if you’ve put people there to throw customers out or they’re supposed to do actual customer service ! In thereI asked if they had an extra mask and she said leave and kept repeating that !

They one cashier and the line is all the way back to the freezer case. Forget it!

The location is small to begin with and there were boxes in several spots making it even more difficult to navigate. Also, if need to rely on a cart to hold you steady while shopping, dont go to this one...THEY DONT HAVE CARTS!

Covid-19 is taking a toll on both Dollar trees in Santa Cruz stock in the store is low lines are long unfortunately 🥺

Theres always a long wait here because the company pays so low and for as little time as possible that the cashiers cant handle the high demand for cheap product.While this branch is cleaner some people ruin it because they leave things everywhere.

Need decorations for the next holiday that wont break your bank? How bout reader glasses, toothbrushes, birthday cards, toilet paper or toys for your kids while your driving in the car on vacation? All $1. Amazing to think how much money you can save by shopping here and getting brand name stuff you would get anywhere else and pay triple the cost. I love the $1 store. Stop in and you will always find something you need! Always $1!!

The Dollar tree is a great store with great prices at $1

One of the cleanest and organized stores. The line gets long but the cashiers are very pleasant. Because its on a main trough way from the boardwalk, You have tobe on the lookout for the entrance to the parking lot.

Its a busy place, but it offers acceptable pricing...Im pleased, that the $ store is available to all...its worth, YOUR time! Id recommend it to anyone, who wants to save money, for the bigger items in life.

Always have a fast in and out of the dollar store

The one on 41st is always neater. The one on Portola always looks like a cyclone went through it.They seem short staffed too. Still,sometimes you fine the coolest stuff.Its just not always duplicated in each store.

Small store, packed with all the goodies that Ive come to rely on Dollar Tree for! Unfortunately for Santa Cruz patrons, it means standing in one very long line. This store has been understaffed for months! My advice to the owner: if you cant get people at minimum wage, then raise the pay. Why? Because for every 3 customers that are willing to wait in line, one customer walks out the door. I did.

Need more cashiers. Aisles were in disarray.

This particular Dollar Tree location just CANNOT seem to get themselves together!!! The store is ALWAYS in absolute shambles, rarely ever more than 1 open register, and NOT ONCE have I ever had a cashier that wasnt rude. Le sigh...

They dont have shopping carts only baskets that you carry and the lines are long when checking out. So hopefully youre only shopping for what you can carry because the wait when youre checking out is slow.

Cashier was great and the store was stocked

This is a dollar store, so its granted that there are good deals here. But at this particular venue, they often run out of products i like. Also, the lines are long, and the employees are kind of rude. I like the dollar store on the east side, or in scotts valley much more!

I realize that Dollar Tree is a really down scale retailer but common good manners are free, right? I had the misfortune of shopping there this morning and I was checked out by the rudest woman, named Kat on her badge. I had to tell her 3 times that I didn’t have change smaller than a twenty dollar bill. Now, I know she had change, because I had to wait while she and her manager weighed out her drawer. Perhaps every cashier in this store needs to be schooled that the customer may not always be right but we do deserve curtesy and we are the basis for their jobs.

The dollar tree in capitola on 41st ave is a great little store. It is smaller then the other dollar trees and they dont have everything that the bigger stores have. That said they are always stocked, they have friendly staff/ cashiers.

Shelves are pretty stocked on a normal basis. The employees that work there also friendly and helpful, yet theyre completely abused by some people that just have no patience in those lines. I mean come on people are going to spend $50 on Dollar Store items, youre going to be waiting in line a little. Lol

Store was nearly empty, it was not well-maintained and everything was scattered about or still on pallets. Huge lines waiting to checkout

Always have the cleaners and toiletries i need, cant beat the power of the dollar tree. Fu conglomerates.

They sell stuff for a dollar, and they keep the isles clear, unlike other locations. What else could you ask? Parking could be better.

Dollar per smile every time the shopping is the surreal of shopping because you can everything needed for supplies including everything my favorite store i lik portola drive because of the many refidgerators of items plus frozen food then one on main one off of main in watsonville both filled huge for the shopping then of course 41st Ave across directly the capitola mall the things this dollar smile i like i find this store best for me so i can combine my visits of this store they got canned food ice cream candy shampoo from wall to wall it is shopping perfect for me signed gregory matthew ackerson

There is usually a line but the staff is nice and get the job done fast.

For the amount of traffic they get I can tell they run this place really well I would recommend shopping here

Cashier Kathlyeen was rude. I noticed she was extreamly friendliy with other customers and once my dad and i walked up to the cash register her mood changed completly. Not sure if it was because we are hispanic. Since I had cough she asked me why was I in the store, that I just went there to get everybody sick.
