My car battery completely died unexpectedly. I contacted my salesman, Tabb Garner, about the issue. He returned my call immediately and was able to get my car in for service that day. He watched for me to arrive and escorted me himself to the service department. The service department manager assisted me right away (even though her schedule was completely booked) and resolved the issue within a few hours. Very impressed with the service!Tabb Garner has been an absolute outstanding salesman from the moment we walked onto the lot two years. He has routinely contacted me to ask how the vehicle was doing, has gotten me in for service immediately when needed, and has even picked up my car and returned it from my work parking lot so that I did not have to leave my job. My husband and I can be pretty hard to please in the area of service, but Tabb has exceeded our expectations time and time again. He is personable and goes above and beyond for his customers. He is a true example of what a car salesman should be!

Had motor problems and used an aftermarket warranty that was pathetic. Dont buy Car Shield Warranty! James in service was top notch and rose above any expectations to get job done. Wow...great guy. Ive always serviced vehicle here as well and fast and through. Great dealership!

I did not buy my car at this dealership they could not have treated me better. I received an email from OnStar for our 2020 Sierra. It said something with the airbags needed to be checked & to get it looked at within the next day. I already knew what it was from because we had the same thing happen to our 2019 Encore. I scheduled an appointment & took it in. I told them that even though a light doesn’t come up, the dash still needed to be taken off & checked because I could tell them exactly where it was. They said they couldn’t do anything because there wasn’t a light. Again I told them that the exact same thing had happened to my car from something we had installed & another dealership had taken care of it, even though there wasn’t a light on. They refused. I told them if it was due to taking time & possibly not finding anything that I would gladly pay their labor for the time taken. They still refused. We needed up having to drive an hour and a half away to have another dealership fix it. Not okay.

I would give zero stars if I could. We clearly have not had the same experience a lot of others have had. We took our car in for a warranty repair. They damaged something in the repair and then tried to charge us for a repair that did not fix the damage they did. Then quoted us $500 to put new brakes on when the part is only $60 and takes a half hour for the repair. I would not recommend.

I dropped my GMC truck off the night before and filled out a card that I needed an oil change. I also wanted someone to check a tire for low psi and to look at my brakes because they were making excessive noise. I clearly checked a box on the card at the night drop that I would prefer to be contacted with an estimate before authorizing any work to be done.I did receive a call for the tire because it had a nail and that would be $25 to repair. When I called later that day to see if the truck was done, I was informed that I had a $135 bill. When I asked for the itemized breakdown, that was the first time that I was told that I was being charged $70 for a brake inspection. When I asked for the results of the brake inspection, I was told that the noise my brakes were making was within normal limits. So my first question was why didnt you call me to tell me you were charging me $70 for the inspection? and the second question was if I asked you to look at the brakes because they were making excessive noise, and you said that they werent...then what in the hell did I pay you for?The only explanation I was given (repeatedly) was that GM sets our prices. So by that logic, if GM is to blame for my dissatisfaction, then I guess GM is the one that just lost my business.And I guess just to add to the overall GM experience, I came in with one faulty tire pressure sensor and now none of them work.

We were traveling from WI to MS last November, Thanksgiving week, when our check engine light came on and after calling Onstar for a diagnosis we called VanMatre Cadillac to make an appointment for the following day. The service dept was very friendly and they told us to have our vehicle at the dealership first thing the next morning. We spent the night at a hotel and we were at the dealership when they opened, our car was taken back immediately and fixed within an hour! I would just like to thank the service dept for helping us and thank them for such wonderful customer service.

My one hour air bag change out turned into 2hrs. At one hour and 20 min. The service director said 20 more minutes. Problems arise. Understandably. But people who children getting off buses in rural areas count on the time they were told a job would be done. Now I have an airbag light on and was told I will have to return. Also the airbags wont work.

I just want to make a PSA that if anyone is looking for a car do not go to Van Matre Buick GMC in Cape. I went to the dealership earlier today because I saw a car online that fit my needs. I had talked to the dealership about a week ago about this car and they said their maintenance guy had to check it out to make sure all was good. They called me today after apparently checking it and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and all was good. So I went in today, signed the papers, took the car off the lot, and then my check engine light comes on... so he told me to bring it back in, I waited for more than an hour for them to tell me what was going on. He pulled me into his office and said all sales were final, and that I would have to pay for whatever needs to be fixed “once they find out what it is”. Mind you, there is a 30 Day, 1000 mile dealer warranty on the car. Obviously I don’t want a broken car, so I took my Jeep back. He was trying to get me to keep this car and didn’t tell me the engine needed to be replaced until after I told him I was keeping my Jeep.And here’s a picture showing what was in the window:We took it in to show him and he said “Oh.... I don’t think that was supposed to be in there..”

I have a 2007 Yukon that I take to Van Matre Service department for everything. I recently had my vehicle inspected so that I could renew my tags. The staff, as usual, was amazing !!!! Always friendly and they always take good care of me. I will never go anywhere else as long as they continue to provide the kind of service I have come to expect from them. I have been going there for years and dont plan to change a good thing !!!

We bought Our Gmc 1500 Sierra Feb./2008 and from the start when we needed service we went back Van Matte now over 5yrs. and using Mobil 1 oil from the 1st. oil change and later right at 100,000 miles the truck rides and drives like it did when We drove it home New, last service we had befor this one was the first replacement of plugs and plug wires and the brakes were still only 50% wore ,Wow! Great Service,and as well a Great Truck, Good year tires that came with the truck were replace w/the same tire at 94,0000 miles .Neeless to say My Spouse Brenda and I, John Edwards will continue to bring our Sierra and our Gxp for service and when the time come again you will be the first to get the chance to get our buz. My husband is active duty military and stationed at Fort Riley, Ks. We had been searching for about a year for a Duramax and werent having any luck. We made a trip to southern Illinois to visit my family. We went to Cape Girardeau one evening and was browsing car lots and after doing through a Ford and Chevy dealership we were ready to give up. We seen Van Matre GMC and figured we would give it a shot then go home. They ended up having 3 Durmaxs. We were shocked. One was in our price range and bluebooked for a few thousand more than they were selling it. We purchased it the next day and drove back home to Kansas.
