EM is the real deal!!! I bought my first guitar and amp from Educators Music in May of 2019 - Chris D. was super helpful. I take lessons every week from Tim - awesome instructor. I cant say enough good things about Educators Music....and I can now play Hair Metal that my wife recognizes and sings to! Its never too late to start playing guitar.

Educators Music has got to be the best place with the best prices in SW Florida ! Ive been purchasing guitar equipment form Educators for over 20 years now. Ive never had any problems and if I did, Educators Music fixed the problem in a timely fashion with a professional business type attitude and approach.They also rent and service school instruments. In fact, they provide lessons for instruments of all kinds.Educators Music has also opened a coffee and pastry cafe that connects to the music store. Its a great place for parents that may want a cup of coffee while waiting for their child to finish up a music lesson. The cafe features open mic nights and jam nights that accommodates people of all ages.I highly recommend Educators Music for any of your musical needs!

At first I thought it was a decent little store. It does not have much of a selection, but it had guitar strings, which is what I needed at the time... then I tried talking to the sales person. He wasnt much help, and seemed like he had better things to do.It got worse when I was talking with the owner. I was trying to make small talk with him, but he was a bit standoffish. He Became rude when I was telling him that it was an interesting little place, but Id come back I like it. After that he acted like I should just buy the strings and get out... which is what I did.After that experience I have decided that I will not be buying anything from them.

Sad to say one of the worst experiences as a consumer Ive ever had. Im a 47 year old new drummer (less than a year) who bought a Simmons electronic kit from a private sale. My ride cymbal stopped working and I went here for help with troubleshooting the problem, remember Im new! The employee that initially helped me was AWESOME! I explained the problem, he offered a possible solution that I hadnt thought of, and even pulled up Simmons site to offer more help. The owner very impatiently and abruptly interuppted, told his employee he can wait, as the owner motioned my direction, and instructed him to handle a phone call!!! Since when do you interrupt a customer in your store, standing right in front of you, who may end up purchasing something to handle a phone call!?!?!?!?!? The owner very impatiently and disinterested listened to my story, looked at his computer, ran the cursor over the 800 number for Simmons and said I dont carry or service Simmons products, youll have to call customer support. I was half way out the door as he was saying this!!! Kudos to the employee for attempting to help a new musician!!! But PATHETIC service from the owner. So what they dont carry simmons?! Maybe someday Ill be ready to upgrade to a fancy electronic or acoustic kit and need a good store. NOT THIS PLACE EVER!!! I LOVE to support local business instead of big box stores, but Educators will never get a dime from me.
