Delicious, good service. Other customers very friendly as well. Mint-To-Be was on expensive side for $13, but it was good for first time for sure

My family and I wanted to visit here for some time. We finally made it down last night and order these milkshakes. For starters, the employees seemed rather annoyed to have to make them. I think the quality of the shake reflected that attitude. It took around 15 minutes to make the 3 shakes. By the time they were ready and handed to us, they’d already begun to melt. I don’t usually complain, but I have to be honest here. We spent $44 on 3 milkshakes that tasted like $3 milkshakes. The presentation is obviously wonderful, but the service was not great and the quality was very underwhelming.I wish I was wrong. I expected to be blown away but I wasn’t.

So disappointing... after wanting to go here for sometime we went last night about 9 pm. Probably one of the worst and most expensive shakes I have ever had. Dont mind spending the money for a quality product but what we were served was basically flavored milk! The was no thickness to the drink what so ever basically 2 glasses of liquid. I could tell when they poured them into the glass how thin they were and I should have said something being that the shakes alone were $26 ! The employees were less than friendly I get we came in later in the night but you do close at 10 on the weekends so you should expect traffic to be coming until close time and be happy that you still have the business in the world we live in right now ! And the bathrooms.. Wow thats all I can say besides they need to be cleaned along with the place as a whole. Overall a very disappointing experience and certainly not what I expected for the price !

Best fudge and the sweetest owners! Since moving from Florida, I was so excited to see that they have now opened treats for shipping. I’ve sent the dark chocolate sea salt caramel gift boxes to several of my friends and family, and they absolutely love them!! Will definitely be ordering more for the holidays!

We visited the Shell Factory and were drawn by the smells of the fudge. We were fascinated as we watched the fudge being made. Can honestly say it is the best fudge weve ever eaten. It literally melts in your mouth. So many different flavors to choose from. Absolutely the best fudge ever!

We came for ice cream on Monday October 26,2020 it was 1:50 and the sign said they open at 2:00 so we waited. Then 2:10 came, finally a girl showed up. So we waited to get in and she never opened the door. So I called at 2:20 and asked what time they open and she said 2:00. She still did not let us in. We waited til 2:30 and still did not open the door. Very disappointing that these young kids do not have any sense of ethics. My kids were very disappointed that we did not get ice cream after waiting 40 minutes.

As a consumer, the ice cream is fresh and creamy, the servings are generous and the service is enjoyable (dont get me started on how good the fudge and soft pretzels are!!!)...as a neighbor, we feel lucky that such a well respected and delightful shop is part of the draw for our Tarpon Point Marina shops!

I was visiting from Hollywood, California. I had a sweet tooth so I asked a friend if there was a good place to get fudge around here. She pointed me in the direction of Gulf Coast Fudge. I went to the shell factory location, which prompted me to take a tour because what is a shell factory?? After buying a few shell necklaces and sand dollars I finally went to the fudge shop. WOW. They make the fudge right there in front of you. I had never seen that before. There was a man with a finely groomed beard and a ball cap working this huge stick as he was guiding the fudge back and forth on the slab. He was indeed an artist. Then I saw his portrait on the wall from a USA Today article. I thought I’d recognized him. After sampling a few flavors, I decided to get them all. Great price and great homemade quality. I wish they had more shops....wait it turns out THEY DO. I talked to the man with the well-oiled beard and he said this is the family’s original shop and they have one in Downtown Fort Myers next to the new luxurious Luminaire Hotel. That’s actually where I’m staying. So, fast forward to the near future, this shop is in the quaint little downtown section of Fort Myers next to Capones Pizza. It’s adorable. This time I had I had the Mint to be Freak Shake. YUMMM. Best milkshake ever. Period. Their third shop is in the adjacent town of Cape Coral at a place called Tarpon Pointe. Sounds pretty cool, maybe I’ll head out there too for some paddle boarding or kayaking. I love family owned businesses, especially during a time like this!

This shop was a little hard to find - GPS put it squarely in the Westins lobby. After poking around a bit, we discovered all the little shops on the dock-side of the hotel, and there was Gold Coast Fudge, at #110. There was a nice young man with a friendly smile behind the counter, who gave us a couple humongous dips. Mine was pumpkin, hubbys was Almond Joy. Hubbys was the hands-down favorite, with lots of coconut flavor, nice chunks of dark chocolate, and whole, roasted almonds...like a cold candy bar. I wish I could say the pumpkin was delish - full of sweet pumpkin-spice flavor thats so popular in - everything - this time of year, but it wasnt. There was just about no pumpkin flavor, and very little spice. Im not quite sure what the flavor was, actually. Hubby was kind enough to trade me for the last few bites. I gobbled up the Almond Joy. He took one taste of the pumpkin and left the rest. Sorry, nice boy behind the counter. One great thing about our time there: we took a stroll down along the promenade while we ate our ice cream, on this gorgeous fall day, and looked at all the yachts.

Super exspensive, but the taffy is fabulous. $7 for an ice cream cone and $9 for a slab of fudge is pretty ridiculous, although it was good. If anything I reccomend getting a pound of taffy ( I think its $9/10 ) because it is unique and made directly in house.

The selection is great and the ice cream tastes delicious. There are also chocolates and some other sweets. The service is really very friendly. I think that there is also ice cream for dogs here as unnecessary frills, but I found it funny anyway.
