I’ve been taking my car to Nicholson Tire & Auto for almost 20 years. They’ve never “oversold” any repairs or treated me like an invoice. They’ve always done a great job with my cars and made me feel like family. The fact that several of their mechanics have been there for such a long time also speaks volumes to their character. Very pleased with the. Care and concern my old car received at Nichelson. My car has appx..240,000 miles..it has damage to the exterior and interior as I sell real estate..land and it has seen more than its share of rough roads to say nothing of my horses and dogs.. Nicholson treated my car like it was a rare Lamborghini! Thoroughand professional that diligently deciphered myProblem..a clogged catalytic converter..who knew! I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. Dropped off my vehicle Monday night. Asked for an oil change, tire rotation and check coolant additive. I called at 1pm on Tuesday to pick up my truck. It wasn’t ready and they asked if I wanted a new air filter. I said yes but when would my truck be ready. They said 30 mins. I went to pick it up and they couldn’t find the paperwork, couldn’t find the air filter and never checked the coolant. So 1/2 a day for an oil change and tire rotation and didn’t do 2 out 4 things. Not a great impression of new ownership.

I read several of the previous reviews. They called me and told me exactly what the issue was with my vehicle. They told me exactly what it would cost and when it would be ready for pickup. When I arrived my vehicle was complete and the cost was exactly what they told me. The vehicle repair cost was extremely fair and everything is working great.

Most honest mechanic I ever met. He will never overcharge. Many times they have saved me from major expensive repairs at the dealerships. Ive been taking my cars to them for 12 years. They excel at US made cars especially. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Went in because the AC wasnt working in the rear of my wifes Expedition. They said it needed a new motor or blower and fixed it. Next day both the front and the rear dont blow. I take it back and they say Im out of freon. They fix it. Two days later its blowing hot air. I take it back a third time and now I have a leak but they cant find it so they need to put dye in the system. I now need to drive the car until it starts blowing warm air again. Next day it happens. Now they find a large leak in the freon line and it will take $500 to fix. 4 trips for one original problem that will cost me in all $1,000 to fix. Very nice people but they wont admit when theyve made a mistake. Needless to say I will take my car to someone who will fix the problem and charge me an appropriate price the first time.

Ive had a couple of quick visits here for pretty simple services and have had an excellent experience both times. Their prices are very good, and the service is quick. I would highly recommend for care car and will visit them again if I never more work done.

Had a nail in my tire. They pulled a car down to help me out (even though I’ve never been here before) fixed my tire in 10 minutes and refused to let me pay for it. Fantastic service, they just won all my future business.

Had a vibration in my drivetrain. They diagnosed it and recommended I take it to Marietta Drive Shaft. Didnt charge me a dime and I offered. They could have said nothing and I would have picked up the expense for transporting parts. Very nice people.

Prompt courteous service and fair pricing. Recently had an emergency and needed to go out of state. They scheduled me in same day and did a complete safety check belts, tires, coolant, brakes, & oil change. Was in & out in 45 min.

Came in for tire rotation and balance. Staff is very friendly. I liked that my seat was not moved to some funky position like at a dealership, for a 20 foot drive.I will be back for additional services.

I took my truck in to have the AC fixed and was told my tipm was bad. They charged me $100 for diagnosing it, and said the tipm would be $747 directly from the dealer. Jimmy told me he would cover the labor with the $100 for diagnosing it. They ordered the part and told me it would take a couple hours to install, and that it would be done for certain by the end of the day. Never received a call that day so I went to the shop before they closed and was told that the part was installed but needed to be programmed (which was never mentioned to me). They then said it would be ready Monday I then waited without my truck over the weekend. When I went to pick it up Monday they hit me with a bill of $1293. I told the owner jimmy that was not the price they quoted me, and also showed him my original price quote that he wrote out to me of $747 plus the $100 for labor. He then proceeded to rudely argue with me and blame his employee for quoting me the wrong price. I told him thats not the price I agreed to pay, so he then stated threatening to take the part back out and put my old one back in. I would not agree to pay his outrageous price that I was never informed about, so he gave me the gracious price of $932 that was still more than my original quote and told me that he will not do business with me in the future. He claimed to be trying to make a honest living

Excellent! They fixed my brakes on my work vehicle in 2 hours. I am a mobile sonographer and when I cant drive I lose money so they had my car repaired in no time! They even had to order parts! I did not have Appt. either. Awesome service! Thank you!

I bought 4 tires from Tire Buyer and had them shipped free to Nicholson Tire in Canton, GA...Tire Buyer delivered on time and Nicholson was very easy to work with, setting up my appointment. When I arrived for the install, my car was in the shop in 5 minutes and they were on it. 40 minutes later, done and ready to go. These are the nicest, most honest auto service dealer I have ever been to, and they really are down home, family folks. They actually charged me less for the install than what Tire Buyer said they would, and told me that they could beat Tire Buyers price for any tire I wanted in the future. I trust them and will definitely go back to Nicholson Tire for all of mt tire & car service needs. Thanks Jimmy & Craig! It was a pleasure to work with you!

Terrible, untrustworthy, unprofessional. I took my truck in to have the starter coil and plug wires replaced due to stuttering issues. They were going to do some diagnostics to make sure that was the issue, and I was told they would have to order the coil but would be ready in no longer than a day or two. Never received a call with an update after 3 days. I called them and they said it was almost done with diagnostics, would be ready for pick up by the end of the day, and they would call me back in the afternoon when it was ready to be picked up. They never called. I called again before they were closing, and then was told my truck was hit by an unknown person in the parking lot the night before. My front bumper was damaged and was already removed and taken to a local shop to have it repaired and painted, but it would be back and reinstalled by the next day. Uh, OK... They were going to take care of the price for that repair since it happened on their lot, but were still charging me full price for labor and parts for the coil and wires. I was obviously unhappy at the time, but agreed. I never received a call the next day.. I called them before they closed and they said oh, it should be ready by tomorrow. They never called the next day, so I called them again before they were closing. It was then ready to be picked up. When I went to pick it up, I stated I did not want to pay any labor for the work that I brought it in for. They agreed and I paid for the wires and coil. Everything seemed ok on the way home. When I got home and opened the hood, I noticed my hood was crooked a few bolts on the fenders had fresh marks where it looked like the fender had been shifted without the bolts being loosened. Those issues would not have been cause by a simple bump on the bumper. I think they may have dropped it from the lift or something.. My truck hasnt driven the same since. These people are dishonest and completely unprofessional.

On my way to Cumming for a BBQ Comp (very time sensitive), a spark plug blew out of the head of my truck on Hwy 20. We had never been to this area before and knew nothing about the area. We limped along the road and come up on Nichelsons. We were pulling our BBQ cooking rig also. I explained my situation to man at the counter. He told me he thought they could fix it, but everyone was at lunch. He said as soon as they start coming back in they would check it out. I made a call to some friends and they came and picked us and our trailer up. Before we could get to the cook site, Nichelsons called and said the truck was ready! We dove back and picked up the truck and was charged $139.....What an AWESOME experience. We have told this story to countless friends and anyone that will listen!Absolutely top notch and honest garage/mechanics/managed shop. To bad we live 2 hours away...Thanks again guys!!

Went to shop on recommendation of family members who have known the owners for years and felt they could be trusted. After diagnosing the problem an estimate for repair was given, based on this estimate I asked them to complete the repair. After waiting 4 days with no answer, a repair for a different part was done at double the cost. When confronting Jimmy with the fact that he never informed me of the change/difference, he got rude and said he could put my old part back in, charge me for his labor, and the car wont run. Not to mention, the cost for the part alone was 3 times higher than factory OEM at multiple sources online.Do not go here!!! They determine what will be repaired and how much you pay, without any input or approval from customer. WOULD NEVER HAVE AGREED TO REPAIR HAD I KNOWN THE REAL PRICE THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE! Double original estimate!

I shopped here because they gave me the best price, but when I had an issue with the tires 7 months later they said theres nothing they could do. I called the manufacturer who stated the tires have a two year warranty. After the claim, tires were mailed to me and installed at a different shop. Will not do business with these Jimmy Nichelson again.

Please do not support this back woods business. Scheduled an appointment for service 5 days in advance, showed up at the appointment time and told they could not get to me for at least 30 mins because they are a first come first serve business! Why answer the phone and give appointments or have a web site to schedule an appointment if you are not going to honor it?
