We stopped in for some ice cream today to celebrate a birthday. While I was in line ordering, I heard something spraying behind me. I turned around to see a woman spraying a black Raid canister all over the tables, chairs, and the surrounding area of the ice cream store -- the wind blowing the chemical onto us and our two children. She sprayed all around the area where we were standing. I asked if it was necessary to be doing that right now and the woman, who I later found out was the manager, told us she didnt want anyone to get stung. I understand the need to control pests, I also understand the need to ensure its done safely. Our family didnt belong in the direct area of where that spray was being applied -- its hazardous. My kids also have a diagnosis of asthma and aerosols can be a trigger. I told her that she should have at least asked us to step aside. She left the area and did not say anything further to our family. Mistakes happen and in my opinion, this was a mistake but her response to it was entirely inappropriate. I sincerely hope she does not do this to another family. We will not be visiting Scoops again.

Its my first time coming here and the ice cream was delicious, for the first time I tried cookie dough and it was so delicious.

Service and portions exceed expectations. The amount of ice cream you get for your money is well worth it! Tons of flavors and I highly recommend :)

Great ice cream at great prices. The staff was a little stand offish, but it is worth it for the delicious ice cream and a low cost.The portions are HUGE, we took my daughter and her friends for her birthday and we got 8 kiddie cones (which are huge) for $12.

The staff is always very kind and even though my orders take long for the milkshakes even busy. Tonight they gave me one while trying to close. I do get milkshakes that can be a pain. I do appreciate what they do. I only go there for my ice cream!!! There was one time my card didnt work and indidnt have cash ans had my kid they gave it to is anyways. I recommned this highly... Portions run big too love it!

I took my grandchildren there for ice cream and I haven’t been there in years. I stood at the window the left side of the building while three girls stood at the right window talking that were working there. They stood there for a while as if they were Ignoring me and I thought it was strange, when finally one walks over to me she says “is there something I can help you with” I said yeah I’d like to order she said “while you’re at the wrong window”. Not for nothing but there’s not one sign up anywhere on that building that says there’s a window and that’s for ordering or pick up. It was on a Monday night around between maybe 6:00 PM. My granddaughter ordered a twist and got vanilla, and as we were eating the ice cream at the tables I could see one of the girls hiding behind the machine on her phone on at least two occasions while I was there on numerous occasions. I think you’re wasting money to pay three because they only work one at a time so what’s the point. If they weren’t so busy being snobby they could’ve simply just told me that I had to come over to that window and order. It’s so upsetting to see these young girls thinking their ok to act this way for service. Not going back again for awhile.

The ice cream was good, but two employees were laughing at me and pointing and giving me dirty looks. Not very professional, or kind. All I wanted was ice cream but I also got bullied.

Cool place to have a treat. Bought a large shake and it was the size of a small at other shops.

The scoops truck was at my place of work and I was with my daughter and she dropped her spoon, the woman in the scoops truck refuse to give me a spoon for her. Absolutely ridiculous that they would not give me a extra 5 cent spoon for how much they change for ice cream! They lost a customer forever!

Was very disappointed by the size of the milkshake. We ordered large they came out small. We asked for chocolate and they still came out very white. Paid $13 dollars for what. Never again. They wouldnt make it right by us either.

I had an amazing experience with polite staff tonight at scoops! When you walk up you’re greeted by the (probably teenage) staff working there. Where I come from good service in younger workers is few and far between. But these guys, I was blown away. Super polite, kind, and warm. I wound up ordering and then realizing I didn’t have my card. They were very understanding and offered to put it in a freezer for me while I went and got my card a few minutes away. When I got back they rescooped the ice cream and made my shakes. Perfect service! They were just very friendly making conversation and just welcoming. Highly recommend. Kudos to whoever is running this joint. Your staff is top notch!

Long lines, but get through pretty quickly. The service was good: friendly young girls. Get delicious ice cream and a really good amount for the price. I paid less for 5 people to eat here than I would for 4 in the nearby town that I live in. Scoops is a great place for ice cream!! Cant wait to go again!

Amazing ice cream, great staff, only a few steps to the pier!!! 👌really cute seating (outside only.)definitely a great place to bring the family..... for some scoops and a walk!! Right across the street is Kershaw Park! Have fun swimming or just walking around stopping by the parks local playground. Bring your dog as well!! (as this is a dog friendly park as well as scoops!!!) Come try it out!

Best ice cream in the region! The sundaes are excellent. Perfect summer dessert spot steps away from the lake. No inside eating, but adorable outside seating that looks like ice cream cones. Very quick service, lines move very quickly, reasonable pricing.

Plus 4 stars because its a great location after a stroll around the park with good ice cream and friendly staff.Minus 1 star because what kind of ice cream stand doesnt serve plain ol chocolate ice cream?!? Come on guys!

Came and got two small waffle cones, but so much ice cream was crammed onto the cone they started melting immediately and got all over our clothes... dark chocolate on my brothers white shirt and shorts. Normally one wouldnt complain about too much ice cream but it wasnt enjoyable and we ended up throwing them away because of how messy they were... presentation matters.

Finna great ice cream but a bit over priced

So I normally always get milk shakes when I go to ice cream shops and I can honestly say theres tastes like a McDonalds shake they make with a mix and a good chocolate shake should be made with hard ice cream Hersheys chocolate syrup and milk its not hard but I guess it is for this shop.

I had a great time the employees were very polite and the ice cream was delicious.

They have so many flavors to choose from. My favorite thing to get is the hot fudge brownie sundae!! They use little bites of brownie to make it easier to eat!! Yum!

I just had a small soft vanilla in a waffle cone. The girl said they were trying a new flavor of French vanilla so it would look like chocolate. It was the worst tasting vanilla ice cream I have had, and the cone was stale tasting. Had to throw it out, waste of my 4.50

The Red Velvet ice cream was delish. I should have asked for a kid sized portion. The small scoop is huge.

My family and I love getting ice cream from Scoops! Great customer service and employees, not to mention they have such a wide variety of flavors!! If you’re in Canandaigua I definitely recommend stopping at their location along Lakeshore Drive or if you happen to be in Farmington they have a newer location on 332 connected to Flowers by Stella. Awesome place to go with family and friends!
