Very nice little shop; very friendly too. She has supplies for many different fiber arts - knitting, crochet, weaving, embroidery, tatting, beading, cross stitch, and probably some others too! Very fun & definitely worth a stop.

Delightful yarn shop in historic downtown area. Beautiful yarns and accessories in a really lovely shop. Shop also has local crafts and products to support other artisans. The owner was exceptionally helpful in finding me items I needed to complete a project.

I went to this store for the first and only time looking for gift ideas for my grandmother who loves sewing, knitting, needlepoint, etc.First, I was watched, every move I made, every time I touched something, as if I was a potential thief. (I know some people do that when certain types enter stores.)I was never asked if I needed or wanted help, but I heard the woman (owner or worker?) tell someone I am keeping an eye on that one.Then, when I asked questions, I was talked down to as if I were a child or someone not able to have a simple conversation. I admit I know nothing about any of this stuff, I was there because I had an idea for a gift bag for my grandmothers birthday. I was treated like I was some type of idiot and finally just turned and left the store.Walking out, I heard I knew she wasnt here to BUY anything.

I absolutely love Expressions in NeedleArt. I am a regular customer - I travel 1-1/2 hours each way to shop here - this is my local needlework shop. Whenever I have a bad day at work, I take vacation time and go there; Lori (the shop owner) spends hours helping me pick out projects, threads, yarns, etc. I frequently see items online I want, message her and she orders whatever I request. My husband buys me gift certificates from the shop (my very favorite gift!) and within hours, off I go to Canandaigua! If I could give this shop 10 stars, I would. I LOVE it!!!

Very unfriendly place. She should stop having customers helping customers (see a review below) because my experience was similar. Treated very badly, nasty helper.I also had to wait to be helped even though I made it clear that I was in a hurry and wanted my questions answered immediately.
