The girl at the register was really cute, nice and funny. She had a cool newsprint t-shirt on and we had some laughs because I was buying identical outfits for my triplets.

Im going to miss this location. Perfect for the locals and wedding guests!

Cant try it on, once you but it its yours. Even at 50%off the original prices are very high. Did not buy a thing.

I try to find something positive but today was not the day. Im sure why people that are supposed to be customer service are so rude. This store is closing (again) & while you can not try on clothes (because of COVID)you also cant return anything if it doesnt fit. We all know that clothes fit different depending on who makes them, anyway my mom got something at this store a few weeks ago & she doesnt live around here. When she got it they told her she had until August 1st if she needed to return it & its even on the receipt as that date for returns. They dont have the same shirt & she was not aloud to exchange it for another. Unwilling to listen or comply w the policy on the receipt.

Very unclear where you pickup an order since the customer service desk is no longer available. Having more clear instructions on how to guide people who made an online purchase would be helpful. Staff was very friendly.

Its nice to have this JCP nearby instead of having to go to the mall to visit one. Seems like there are always great sales going and Ive always had pleasant experiences with the staff, as well. Smaller store so not HUGE selection, but I hardly ever walk out empty handed!

Great sales offered almost every time Im in there! Also easily accepted & returned items from an online order without any problems. Even let me exchange one online item for an in-store item! Love the ease of JCP!

Great deals going on right now! And a nice selection of clothing. They have a clearance sale going on with an extra 25% off, But it doesnt apply to all clearance! Even if its winter clothes!!!

They have good prices, very friendly staff, I drive from Geneva to shop there.

Got great help from an associate named Christine, who went to great lengths to get an answer to a question my wife had about a product that was out of stock online and in the store. She even took the time to call corporate to get an update. Remarkable dedication to her work.

Terrible. Selection fair. Will not honor coupons.

My son was able to find clothes that he agreed to, which is unusual as he is picky on lengths of shorts and the look of clothes. It was for a special event so he was somewhat pressured to get some new clothes, but appears to be happy with his choices. Lots of sales and q variety of styles.

I only shop there when they have a good sale.

Clean and well recovered. This JC Penney is in the corner of a small plaza. Good deals like any retail store.

Not much of a selection. I prefer Kohls personally. Kohls cash and yestoyouRewards. Cannot beat it! Just spent $540 and got over $1000 worth of clothes. But this place is decent.

Saved over $200 on their closing the sure sales. Sad to see them go.

We were looking for taller size slacks for my husband, it states big and tall but it is mainly big. We found nothing at all.

I signed up for a credit card and immediately cancelled. The sales women accuse me of wearing jewelry that I tried to return and I never had. Plus when theres a sale on the internet website they will not honor that price on store. Thats the most frustrating part is having to buy something online sending it back cuz you cant return it in store and get your money back. One time I purchase something and then I told me I had to come back Saturday to get the price they quoted because the sale hadnt started yet they should have never done that bad business.

I have gone in to many pennies stores in the past and I thought they were OK. Pennies still continues fat model here. I think Penny’s is just a OK store middle of the road Quillivant to a Walmart store but different. But don’t get me wrong they have some upscale thing that they have over the competition their shoes that you buy are generally really good and last a good time. The stores prices have come down in over a couple years but still very pricey for the governments that you pay for. The quality of the garments and everything is sub par too goodIn that category. But generally the customer service here is fantastic if you need help finding anything you can always go up to the counter and they will have somebody to help you out. I wish that they had more people more workers walking about to help serve their customers more though but either than that it’s a very good store to go to in Canandaigua.
