An incredibly pleasant experience. The patience bestowed was remarkable. Generally, while taking an eye exam most doctors become impatient, asking is this better than the first or is it this one . Dr. Buyon never wavered away from being patient. When deciding upon which frame I desired, the staff ensured me to take as long as necessary while helping in the process. Both the doctor and staff explained every detail thoroughly--quite informative in regards to my eye health, costs and procedures to follow. I would highly recommend this business.

He did not push me buying frames in his office. The staff was very friendly.Only wish they would’ve called or texted with a reminder the day prior. Plenty of parking in the building and an elevator for access.

Was in search of a new eye doctor and found Special Eye Care. Filled out an appointment request and within MINUTES, I received a call for a same day appointment. Upon arrival in the office, the entire staff was kind and accommodating. Dr. Bunyon was both professional and down to earth. I’m glad to have found a new practice that provides outstanding service. Can’t wait to recommend this lovely family practice to others.

Employees extremely polite and very knowledgeable. However, I went because I lost y glasses and couldn’t get an appointment with my doctor for new glasses for a month. I informed the young lady of the problem. Told her I wanted an exam to get glasses. All went well until I was turned over to the young man selling glasses. I think at this point patient should be informed you can get a prescription or you can buy glasses here. Not introduced to someone as a member of the staff rather than a salesperson. The rest is my vulnerability. Ended up with a bill for $688.

Amazing office. My last eye doctor gave me the wrong prescription caused me to have bad migraines, and blurred vision, kept telling me “ I just needed to get use to it” there was nothing wrong with my prescription. Came here the doctor adjusted/corrected my prescription I no longer have headaches or blurred vision. The staff is very pleasant and nice! I will continuing coming here.

Been coming for the past 8-10 years and trust Dr. Bunyon and his wife Mrs Dr. Bunyon very much. They don’t upsell me on anything. They provide my script if I want to buy items elsewhere. Most of the time I purchased from them because I trust then. They are excellent for emergencies as well. My daughter scratched her eye using tweezers and Dr. Bunyon made time to see her ASAP. I love that. I’m a patient forever.

I have been a customer of this establishment for maybe 2 years now. I called and emailed them numerous times (called over 4 times, emailed 3 times) to get a copy of my prescription and on multiple occasions, I was promised that it would be sent to me but that was never done.Im so disappointed, because of this I had to go to another optometrist, take another exam and spend over $100 just so I could have my prescription. I have noticed in the past that if you do not buy your contacts from them directly its like they are more reluctant to give your prescription to you.I have had several other minor issues with this establishment (here are two):*sending my contacts to the wrong address still after telling the lady numerous times my updated address and begging her not to put the old one in.*sending numerous emails before to get a copy of my RX prescriptionthe doctor himself is great at what he does, I just wish he would hire more adequate employees as they are a reflection of his business. I will no longer be a client at this establishment and do not recommend.

Everybody was professional and courteous everybody seem to know just exactly what they should be doing I was dumbfounded about finding out that I had cataracts on both eyes but everybody was helpful as to let me know where I could go to get the cataracts removed and who I should see so I give Special Eye Care five stars.

Ive been working on making sure all of my healthcare providers are Black. So I received a referral for SEC. The team at SEC were awesome and courteous. They made sure they had protocols in place to protect everyone during this pandemic. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or rushed. I plan to refer my family members to this location.

I’m attempting to make an appointment. The office is listed as opening at 9am but haven’t had an answer yet. My son goes to a different eye doctor which opens at 9am as well, called 9am on the dot and was able to make an appointment in under 2 minutes for him. I wish my insurance was accepted there.

Great service. I bought my eye glasses and my kids’ glasses from here.

I purchased some new glasses about 4 months ago I spent $400 on the glasses that was just glasses. Not what I spent on the exam and contacts. The screws fell out of one side of the glasses. I had to come back to the store to get my glasses fixed. When I had spoken to someone on the phone they informed me that all I had to do was bring the glasses back in the store to have them repaired. When I came in they must have been really busy because they couldnt repair my glasses. Dr. Bunyon wanted me to schedule an appointment to have my glasses repaired. There was no way that could come back. In addition why wasnt that explained to me during the phone call. Dr. Bunyon then tried to send me to another company to repair my glasses were I would have to pay for the repairs. I already paid for the glasses so that means the business doesnt have to stand by their products? If Im spending good money for something I want a good quality especially glasses. Dr. Bunyon became frustrated with me since I wasnt willing to leave my glasses in the store until he could fix them. Or whenever someone else could repair them, he couldnt even give me a date when they could be done. Im very dissatisfied with the customer service and the attitude and the way Dr. Bunyon was talking to me. I am a customer, just because Im not spending money now doesnt mean you can treat me like anything. In the end they couldnt even repair the glasses and wanted to sell me another pair. No thanks. Ill take my business somewhere else. Dr. Bunyon looked at the glasses and didnt even know they couldnt be repaired. Never again.
