I use Forklift in a pinch. The employees are nice, but the prices are too high now that it owned by Nugget Markets.When it was Food 4 Less, it was pretty good prices because it was closer by.I will stick with Winco, Walmart, or Grocery Outlet. You cant beat their prices and their quality of food is just fine, if you take the extra time to carefully select the fresh vegetables and meats.

Love their shinny floors! Appearance, always clean, nice and white. The produce dept is brilliant with set-ups & displays.Bakery variety is a wonderland!The isles are separated by products that actually belong together. I really look forward to grocery shopping. An extra smile for the day.🤓

Fork lift always has the freshest foods. No matter what your need is on your grocery list you will find it here and then some! They have a awesome selection of fine cheeses and breads, they have there own kitchen where you could even get a bite to eat while shopping! Every meat product I purchase here is so fresh its last my family and I along time. They have organic products as well so if youre a health guru they got you covered! I will continue to shop here for its great prices and availability of the most fresh groceries

What a great store! Many things available in bulk with good prices. The bakery is amazing. So much great prepared food! Salad bar, many other salads. I tried the Mediterranean salad which was amazing! Lots of cakes that look so good! The meat department here is great. Many great steaks all for good affordable prices!The staff here is all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning about would recommend them anytime!

This is a Nugget Market on steroids. All of the exclusive, fresh, and diverse products of a Nugget but somehow at a lower price. The quality of the service cannot be overstated. These people want you to leave happy. I wish we had one in Sacramento.

We always stop here on our way camping. Always quality brands that we can quickly grab to make meals with. The staff are always really nice as well.

I was a loyal customer here for many years, but they would rather virtue signal and play politics than keep me as a customer. We have a year of data, proving beyond any shred of doubt, that masks dont effect transmission, yet this store forces grocery store clerks to enforce a policy that the County Sheriff wont even enforce. This is clearly a political stance to punish those who are willing to go against the program, and punishing people with legitimate exemptions at the same time.

This was my second time shopping here and I absolutely love it. The grocery carts have space for two kids to sit, the staff is friendly and helpful and lastly they have such great produce!

One of the most cleanly grocery stores Ive been to in the time of COVID-19. They clean the conveyor belts after each customer, provide masks if you dont have one, and theres hand sanitizer at the door. The produce is delicious and theres a wide variety of specialty goods. Fork Lift has a good variety of gluten free goods, the most Ive seen in the area. If youre ever craving a GF cake or other baked good head to their bakery. Doesnt even taste gluten free.

We love shopping at Forklift. Really great food choices and BEST customer service. Today we needed jalapeno peppers but there were none to be found. Asked Mike in produce and he cheerfully went in and found a fresh box!! Then I asked about shallots...again he went back and brought out a box of fresh beautiful shallots all with a smile and cheerful attitude. Felt like I had a personal shopper.

If I dont see what I want in the meat department, Ill ask and my order is filled... 2 thick ribeye steaks! People who see this attempt to invite themselves to your BBQ. Imagine that!

Nugget ownership are hypocrites. No masks required in Forklift Cameron Park but 4 exits down at The Nugget in EDH there is security at the door requiring masks. Forklift has a so-so layout and most things on sale are expired or close to it.

Fresh herbs in the Produce section are disgusting. There is no excuse for the growth of bacteria I found there. The brussel sprouts were infested and pretty much a waste of money.Well well, they ask up to wear a mask so we can come buy their produce that has been rained on by the funky mold growing and even hanging above it. :( My original post regarding this was 3 years ago. Now they are grossly missing key points when sanitizing again. It makes one wonder what goes on out of site?Fork Lift... get it together. 😷

This is a great store. There is ample parking, a friendly staff, and a nice selection of fresh food. They carry organic and CA grown. They have a wonderful butcher counter and carry delicious prime grade meat. Take a trip, you wont be disappointed.

Nugget has great markets, and Fork Lift is the perfect concept. It is a combination of of the great service gourmet market that Nugget is famous for and a bulk market with reasonable pricing. No other markets are quite like it, but they should be. I love Fork Lift, and I hope that it spreads.

If you are looking for the absolute best prices this may not be the best choice. The prices on the basics are fair, but what makes this my favorite is the variaty and selection. They just have so much fun stuff.

Easy & no issue

Update to a prior 1 star review (on Yelp only). It got worse. Against all judgment I went back to this place. I was making homemade lasagna for a special occasion so I needed bulk sausage, which Nugget does a great job with.Here I am, cart loaded up, looking for my last item, ricotta cheese. They only had the large container, for $7. The smaller container is what I needed for the recipe, and it was on sale for $2.50, great! But there werent any on the shelf. I didnt really want to spend $5 extra for something I didnt need, especially since this dinner was already costing me about $40.I tracked down a nice lady employee, but she didnt know so she grabbed a guy from the meat department. A total jerk from the very beginning, explaining how if they had more in the back they would be out on the shelf. Surprised by his immediate passive aggressive attitude, I explained I only needed the smaller container and didnt want to pay $5 for something I didnt need. I asked if I could get the larger container for the same price, and he literally laughed. Fed up with his attitude, I immediately replied, is this funny to you? He laughed again and said yeah actually it is!Completely disgusted by this man as a human being, I said something along the lines of, well have fun putting all my items back on the shelves, and left without buying anything. I feel bad leaving the cart behind, but hopefully he was tasked with putting everything back and not somebody else.I actually called corporate on this one, since last time I called the store management (about them forgetting to bag an item and then later for food poisoning) they didnt seem to care either. Corporate was appalled. The lady was incredibly nice and understood how Id never shop there again. I think Nugget is a great company, I love their stores in EDH and Sacramento, but this Fork Lift branch is just horrible. Ive since only shopped at the nearby Bel Air, and absolutely love it! I actually went the same day to get all my lasagna items, and paid less for the smaller thing of ricotta.

I absolutely love shopping at forklift. Everyone is friendly everyone is helpful. The produce is fresh they have a great selection of everyday items as well as specialty items. but by far my most favorite part is the deli and meats counter. they will help you with any cut of meat you want they have special order items they have specialty ready-made entrees under the glass. One time I requested they modified a flank steak with Parmesan cheese and spinach wrap with feta and bell pepper spinach and they were happy to accommodate my request. they even commented on it and made one for themselves to share because they thought it was so different. The girls at the checkstand are always sweet to my two-year-old and offer her stickers and talk to her while theyre checking us out. I couldnt ask for a better local grocery store.

Update: I originally gave a 1 star rating based on poor customer service on more than one occasion. Management promptly reached out to me. After a few months I started shopping at Forklift again and noticed huge positive changes. Its now been about a year since my original review, and Ive had zero negative experiences. I personally have more than 10 years working in the grocery business, and Forklift is by far the best grocery store in the area in all aspects.

Dropped of my married daughter so she could pick up a few needed things being she was entertaining company. That would be us. I asked her why she liked shopping there. She said it was easy to get to, they have most everything she needs and the prices are reasonable. Seldom has to wait long for service. It was well set up and organized, easy shopping.
