Automotive Services is honest, trustworthy and very dependable. It’s fun to have service on my car by this company because I know they will do the work correct and stand behind the work!

This place is one of those places you hear about and everything you hear is true. The owner, Mike, is one of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever meet. Every person who works here I would trust with my vehicles.The only complaint I have is that this place is so busy that it is hard to find the time to drop off my car for work and repairs during my busy schedule.

Weve been taking our vehicles here for a few years now. They have great prices, no nonsense like trying to get you to pay for things you dont need. The service is excellent and they know what theyre doing! We will continue to take our vehicles here as long as they are open. Great business!

Great service, they were easy to used, brought my HD truck to them in for a second opinion to make sure my engine was blown. They charged me a quarter the amount to diagnose compared to the place I had gone originally, and only took a day to let me know what was up, (it took five days of my truck just sitting to get the other dealership to even look at it), They also do Jasper engines which is what got me interested in the first place, I got a quote for a new engine replacement with a 3yr/100k warranty, and ASU was OVER $3500 LESS than the quote I received from the first place I took it to. Very happy with the service given. Will use them in the future, trust them as a no BS auto repair shop.

I went into this shop because my van was making a loud sound occasionally while driving, its an older vehicle and I figured something must be wrong with it. The sound didnt happen when I put on the brakes so I knew it must be something else. The mechanic suggested I replace the brakes, so I agreed. After I paid $560 for new brakes, the mechanic then explained that the vehicle is at the end of its life and I shouldnt put anymore money into it. A week later the van completely broke down and I cant use it anymore. I called the company to get a partial refund, and the woman was very rude and refused to give any refund. This company is completely unethical.

I appreciate the honesty, the triaging of what services need to be and what to plan for in the future, and the prompt customer service.

Great place to take your cars to get fixed. No issue is too big or too small. Im selling a car and need to fix it up a bit and Hank helped me to figure out important vs not so much which I really appreciate.

Took our sons old truck in for clutch and check engine light issues. Mike and Hank gave the truck a thorough going over and identified the problems that had eluded us and others. They gently advised us it might be time to retire the old truck (repairs would exceed the value of the vehicle) and were very helpful in suggesting car makes with best repair records from their direct experience. Im a shade tree mechanic and dont like anyone else touching my vehicles but there are some things you just cant do yourself. In those instances, I go see Hank and Mike and Automotive Services Unlimited. Ive tried many mechanics through the years but none come close to the honesty, integrity, workmanship and friendliness you get here. I trust them completly and recommend them to anyone that needs a shop. They do smog checks as well and Ive found their service is unmatched.

Excellent service. Friendly & professional. My sons adapted van was towed into their garage and they began assessment immediately. Communication was frequent and informative. They worked to keep the price down, while doing a full repair and advised on some safety precautions that we could take.This shop will be getting my 2002 Handa next for a full inspection and what ever maintenance is required, and will be servicing any family cars in the future.Highly recommended.

I have had a great experience with this company.... Ive previously been to Big O tires before in the area to make repairs, but Automotive Services Unlimited Inc does offer much cheaper services, theyre so close, and they dont try to do any repair that isnt completely necessary for the well-being of your car. Incredibly friendly staff, and if youre lucky, you might see the cute little dog thats in there sometimes!

Update September 6th, 2018 - I took my Mini countryman in for regular maintenance. Service was fantastic, full safety check. I take all my cars to Mike and his team. I always get excellent service with a smile.I took my daughters SUV in for maintenance. It was leaking oil from somewhere and almost started a fire at a stop light. Mike did through diagnostics, applied the charge to my final bill and made several suggestions of other repairs he could do since he already had the car apart. This kept the labor charges down. The SUV runs great I was able to drive it down to bay area and back to bring my daughter back from college for the summer. Thanks to Mike and the fine people at Automotive Services Unlimited my daughter can drive her SUV in safety.Since I found out they are also certified for Mini and even my Smart Car I have a great place to take my other vehicles.Thank you Mike and company for the great service!August 18, 2016After the great experience I received with our SUV I brought my wifes Mini in for its 60,000 mile service. Mike and company did a fantastic job running through everything on the car top to bottom. They found it needed brakes front and back. I wasnt expecting to both at the same time but Mike did a great explaining the need and showing me how much of the existing brakes I had left.Automotive Services Unlimited has kind and courteous people who take time to explain everything in detail to your satisfaction.

Been there once and Im going back for my second time today. I had a great first experience. The owner and crew seemed very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a used truck and I brought it in to get smogged. the owner himself put the truck on a lift and looked at everything underneath the truck , as well as under the hood it was a complimentary service I told him that I thought I needed a certain service done and he advised me that I did not need to and he was right I have not had any issues. He could have easily said sure Ill do it and taken my money. Pretty sure I found a new mechanic

They did an excellent job on the work performed, time it took to do it, and did a courtesy check on the condition of my car. Mike took my car for a test drive to see about my concerns. He gave me his recommendations as to what needed to be done to fix it the problem, without pressure to do it that day. I received a quote and was on my way. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. Mike understood the unique requirements of this particular car, which is street and track-driven. He also did a thorough enough job to notice where another shop that installed some of the cars suspension components did a downright dangerously bad job, and he remedied those issues, indicating he cared about a job done right. My only negative is Mike indicated the car couldnt achieve any more camber up front than what he had it at, but when I took a look after the fact, I found both camber plates were set at their most conservative setting (albeit as inboard as possible at that setting). All in all though, pricing was very reasonable. and Ill continue to use ASU for all the jobs that are beyond my DIY skill set.

I have a Vintage 1977 Chevy that alot of people do not know how to work on. It is really well taken care of because I only bring it to very good mechanics. I moved into this area and was very happy to find ASU. They are very honest and capable. I really will not bring my autos to anyone else.I need to be sure that it is done right and these guys are the ones that do it right.

I have been going to see Automotive Unlimited for over 10 years. I only go when i really need something I cant do myself, done right. The mechanics and owners are very hands on and have been a part of my community since I decided to move here. Prices are good but, the work is better. I had my starter go out a few days before Christmas, and I was still able to get the car repaired and back on the road quickly. All of Mikes Techs are highly qualified and certified and have been with him for years.They also provided me with a full diagnostic of my CRV which showed I needed to replace the fluid in my tran. I cant afford it now but after the holiodays are done with me I am taking it back in.

I have known Mike since I was 16 years old, I will be turning 31 on Feb 19th. He fixed my very first car, 84 Camaro. I remember my first impression of him was I knew he was a car guy first and foremost. My cars have always been done right the first time. Mike is the type of guy who is not only honest, but he has a passion for what he does, and you can feel it as a customer. Being the owner you might think you would never meet him. Fact is I see and talk with Mike more than anyone else there, he makes it a point to make you feel like family. Today I got my car smogged and as usual I was impressed with the service and wait time. I have not seen Mike in a long time, but not much has changed. To me thats a good thing, you can tell he cares more than ever and has a life long dedication to his customers and business, again, because its passion that drives him. I assure you that if you just make one visit there you will be hooked for life, and wanting to tell all your friends and family about him. Oh, his wife is now the manager and runs the office. Mike and his folks have worked on my entire families cars over the years and we have always been happy. Now he needs to post a new picture of himself on his web page.

Usually, automotive shops take advantage of my worry about keeping my kids safe, and add more automotive work than needs to be done. l was refered by a friend to ASU. I knew by my first call, when Hank answed the phone, that I was in good hands. He listened to my horror stories with compassion, and was very patient when I was explaing my needs and goals for taking care of preventative maintenance. My car was inspected on all points, and a more than reasonable plan was made at a reasonable estimate. I felt so comfortable with how serious I was taken, and that I was explained everything in detail.I also, like that I was treated like a human being, and not some dumb female customer. I even learned a few things. I am so excited to get on the road in a vehicle that I know will be safe.

I have been going to these folks for 20 years, and now my three kids take their cars there too! I wouldnt trust my vehicle to anyone else. I even take my brand new cars there for non warranty work - no dealers for me!
