I had an absolutely great experience at Cambridge Hyundai! My husband and I were greeted by Mateo when we arrived and he was very helpful and had great customer service. Mateo sold us a 2022 Hyundai Tuscan and took his time explaining everything to us and helped us find the best SUV for us. We also had a great experience with Ahmad who helped us with the finance of our vehicle. All around everyone was very helpful and I cant say enough good things about it.- Brooke

Just picked up my car from service (first time using this dealer) and I was very impressed! My car was nice and clean but better yet the inside wasn’t messed up with greasy finger prints etc. They kept me up to date and had the car done in a reasonable time. Fair pricing too. Christian and Tyler who I dealt with where friendly and informative! Great facility too! Very impressed and would highly recommend!

Matteo was super helpful and spent a LOT of time with us going back and forth working on getting us the best deal for our trade-in as well as a really good interest rate for a used vehicle. We will recommend the Cambridge Hyundai team to all of our friends that are car searching. This has been a nearly 5 month process of deciding which vehicle was for us and Loki (our salesman) was patient, kind and informative every step of the way. When we finally decided to make a firm decision on our vehicles we went back to Loki, and we know it’s his job but he remembered every detail about what we wanted, why we were looking and what would be the best options for us! We ended up trading in our current vehicle and decided to purchase 2 vehicles but wanted to test out a few other cars at other dealerships to be sure. We went to a number of other dealerships in Cambridge and we’re not met with nearly as much care, respect and kindness as we had experienced at the Cambridge Hyundai. From the second we started searching for cars to the moment we decided which ones were for us, Loki was there at our beck and call for any question concern or thought we had. Following Loki we had Ahmad as our financial manager, if there was ever a person to make the hours of paperwork and waiting for approval and signatures enjoyable, Ahmad is that guy. Kind, generous, conversational and incredibly wise, we would go back to the dealership just to spend time with him that’s how great he was. All of this made our purchasing process enjoyable and exciting. And on top of it, they gave us a deal that simply couldn’t have been matched elsewhere. I purchased a used 2016 vehicle from Cambridge Hyundai recently. I have purchased a few used vehicles from other places in the past, and hands down this has been my best experience. Steve is an excellent salesman, and his customer service was top notch from prior to sale, to closing, and even after the sale and car pickup.Kylee from the Finance department was knowledgeable and friendly.The car did have a small issue within 30 days and Steve called me back right away and their service department fixed the issue quickly.Here is a quick overview of things done exceptionally well:Steve let me take my time to test drive the car, and any issues I wanted corrected, were fixed.The pick up was easy, the car was clean and detailed well.When calling Cambridge Hyundai voice-mails or messages are responded to quickly.Now here is where this company stands out. After purchasing the car, about a week later I received a credit for a future service. I received a birthday email as well, thank you! It is very appreciated that after the sale, Cambridge Hyundai reached out this way. This type of customer service is truly hard to find. Because of this extra effort, when I am ready to buy a used or new vehicle I will be coming back to Cambridge Hyundai!Great job, and thank you.

An excellent service team here at this dealership. Had a couple of issues that the team here stepped up and helped me get resolved. Very friendly and knowledgeable and trustworthy. Renovations on the building give a nice and comfortable place to wait while you get looked after. You can feel the focus on customer service and it shows. I took my mom car shopping last week, and lets be honest, there are a lot of horror stories of the car shopping experience. Well, this isnt one of them.I have to say a big thanks to Gerardo Santos and Cambridge Hyundai. The patience and respect shown to my mom by Gerardo was great. It put us both at ease and let her enjoy looking for a car. He was concerned with whether the car was too low for her to get in and out of, and he spoke directly to her, not me. That is a huge thing. I was there as an observer, but not the purchaser. The fact that I was included in the conversation was great, but hearing how Gerardo was talking, and explaining in detail with my mom, is what sets him apart from other salespeople.I definitely recommend people get in touch with Gerardo Santos if you are in the market for a Hyundai.Businesses are built on reputation, and I believe that things start at the top with owners and managers. Whether there is good culture or bad, it is management that creates it. I think Mark Erwin has done a great job of creating a positive culture. I had a very bad experience.I made all inquiries via email before driving down to Cambridge from Brantford.I test drove couple of BMW 3 series (2020) both had done just about 30k… they were priced $1000 apart. I was test driven for the expensive one and not the cheaper one and was told that it was pending sale. Upon insistence they finally agreed to have me test drive it … I finally liked the cheaper one and agreed to pay $500 as the booking fee.A day ago, I was told in the email by their Sales Manager - that interest rates vary between 3.99% to 6.99%. I also made it clear I am happy to book it provided I get the lowest rate of (3.99 or 4.99) for having the excellent credit rating… but their Salesman immediately declined to even run a credit check on the application and turned me back, stating that they can only approve for 5.99%.They do false advertising on their AutoTrader ads quoting 0.99% interest rates. Only to realize that it’s a lot higher than they claim. I have attached pictures of their false interest advertising and emails quoting 3.99% to 6.99%.I found them to be truly unprofessional , unethical and very shady with their business deals they are not worthy of the business.I have full records of the communications I have had with their manager on the interest rates.Basically, they list their vehicle couple thousand lower than others , so that you turn up at the place and then they rob you with their higher interest rates.I challenge the owner of this place to give a honest reply to my review…I hope they mend their ways.STAY AWAY PLEASE.

Just had a full brake job done front and rear, going home and the brakes had vibration. Thought it was perhaps a one off but it occurred 4 more times . I called in and took the car back in. The problem is intermittent so I understand it would be hard to find. However they said they couldn’t see anything wrong and then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee of $150?? Right after I just spent 1000 bucks on brakes?So are they calling me a liar ? I’ve never brought the car in for frivolous issues. And I’ve never come back complaining about this or that. And I keep up with the maintenance.I refused to pay it and they took it off the bill but my confidence in this dealership after 10 years is 100% done. What other kinds of stunts are they pulling ? Because the brakes feel slightly different now. Hmmm.Now that the shock has worn off I’m furious.

I had a very enjoyable experience at Cambridge Hyundai! Ive had a 2007 Santa Fe for 6+ years and was ready for an update. I was greeted in a friendly manner when I arrived; the whole team was very personable. Gerry was outstanding to work with: he really knows the stock, was very informative, and matched my enthusiasm during test drives. I also worked with Andy and Ahmad who guided me through the paperwork; they were also great to work with and made the seemingly tedious process painless. When I arrived to pick-up my new Tucson, the team was ready for me and were almost as excited as I was. They were prepped for pick-up: ownership and paperwork at the ready; a shiny, clean car that was heated and ready to go - my plates and covers were even cleaned before the transfer. The team at Cambridge Hyundai made me feel very comfortable; they answered all of my questions and had great attention to detail. AAA!Adam, Andrew, and Ace - the fellows who work in the repair bay. Wonderful and polite gentlemen.Adam in particular is very helpful in trying to keep repairs within my budget. He also states when something is a safety concern or just annoying to drive.Basically, Im not being taken for a ride and my wallet doesnt cry every time I bring my car in. Yes, some of the repairs are expensive, but thats what happens when cars age.The free variety of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and WiFi are a definite bonus too.Highly recommended for Hyundai car repairs & maintenance. No idea about new or used car sales - I bought my car elsewhere.

Ive owned two Hyundais over the last 10 plus years. One bought from the Cambridge dealership and second from the KW dealership. The second vehicle is 2016 Santa Fe with 150k.Ive a hard shifting problem with the Santa fe when going from first to second gear when the vehicle is cold. Took the vehicle to Cambridge Hyundai to diagnose the issue. Advisor said the differential coupler needed replacing. Cost for parts, labour and tax would be $1400. I asked the advisor if hes positive this will resolve the issue, was absolutely sure this would fix the issue.I proceeded with the repair. After getting the vehicle back, same hard shifting experienced again. Took the vehicle back to Cambridge. Advisor now states the differential unit needs replacing. This would cost $2400.Asked how could they could have missed diagnose the issue? Got the this could have been one of the causes. Why I wasnt advised this was fishing expedition to see what the real issue was. I could have chosen what options to proceed with.The fact that a diffential unit and coupler could fail at 150k on vehicle thats not used for towing or going off road speaks to inferior quality of the parts. The miss diagnose of the issue that will now cost be $3800 to fix in total. However Cambridge Hyundai were generous enough to offer a 10% discount! Wow $300, guess beggers cant be choosersBottom line, this is last Hyundai Ill be purchasing, last visit to Cambridge Hyundai for any service work on my Santa Fe.

Had an appointment. Drove for 2 hours there and back. The dealer I had an appointment with with another client and continued to talk to said client for a whole hour before we left. He was aware of where we were coming from. Waste of time and gas. -- Was later called by the general manager who apologized for the incident. Hopefully it will stay as an isolated incident

We had to come back a second time to do a lease return. We called earlier in the week and they had told us to come Friday at 12pm but when we showed up, nothing was booked and no one was available. We rescheduled to the following week where we ended up waiting 20 minutes for a scheduled appointment. Seems like this dealership is not very organized. With that being said I will say the people are very kind and friendly. Its a good group with great people skills but they just need to tighten up the booking/scheduling process.

This location is by far, the absolute WORST dealership I’ve ever stepped foot in. The financial advisor that works at this location, Ahmed, is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, and disrespectful. His words to me were, “You’re the one that needs the help, I don’t get paid to help you.”When I spoke to the manager about the situation, he didn’t acknowledge it whatsoever, nor addressed it with Ahmed. DO NOT waste your time here, I took my business to the Kitchener Hyundai location, and they are PHENOMENAL there. I don’t recommend this location, take your business elsewhere!

After my last experience here, I talked to my wife and not wanting to drive way up into Kitchener to look at another Hyundai we decided to give this place another chance. I am glad we did. Gerry is an awesome guy who works super hard to find what you are looking for. He is patient and understanding and explains everything well. Kylee is just as awesome. Always checking up on us, if she could get us anything, explaining coverage and warranty. The receptionists even went and put Paw Patrol on the TV for my kids and got them markers and Paw Patrol coloring pages, and even blew up balloons for them. Always a great experience at the dealers. After the reno that was done, the place looks amazing. At times the wait times for tire change/service is long, but usually its a sufficient time. Especially sanitary and clean this time around with COVID - chairs always sanitized after it had been used, floors clean (saw an associate pick up garbage off the floor and didnt think twice!), the atmosphere was bright and vibrant which was visually appealing. Overall, a great experience!

🛑 🛑Never go here, ‼️⚠️⚠️They will definitely get you a car, but they will make profit out of your pocket by adding unnecessary charges, which no one ever charges, and worry free insurance which is completely unnecessary. They made me to buy this worry free insurance with my car, they said if I wanna get approved I must buy it otherwise they can’t do anything but when I rechecked the documents with my insurance agent he showed me that it was written there the worry free insurance is not mandatory to get an approval.🛑If you’re facing any trouble with your car do not call these guys they won’t pick up your call, I’ve been calling this store since two weeks they never picked up my call.#kitchener#waterloo

Had a terrific professional experience yesterday morning while waiting for my oil change here at Cambridge Hyundai .I dealt with Adam Perry , as soon as I entered the service bay and got out , I explained to Adam I couldnt wear a mask , due to health reasons and I was going to wait outside till my car was ready .Adam came out to see if I wanted a wash , and also brought debit machine out for me to pay .Adam went over and above for me during these times and was very appreciative to his service .Thank you once again Cambridge Hyundai and particular Adam Perry .

I bought a 2021 Hyundai Kona. My salesman name was Asad. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and got the color I wanted. Asad also was very attentive to my needs and didn’t try to push me to buy something I didn’t want. He was patient with us, explained everything we needed to know about the process and was happy to make sure the car we test drove was disinfected before we got in.
