Even though its mostly a paper store for making your own stuff, this is my go-to card store. Its convenient to stop at on the Red Line (Porter stop). The staff are always nice here and at any location. The only annoying thing is that they try to get you on their mailing list.

The two women that work there, when I believe was the manager were amazing and so helpful. The merchandise was a dream for arts and crafts people and I need to get back there because I was just doing a walk 5 but shopping there will be even more fun

I love this place as a paper crafter. They have beautiful sheets of paper here for every occasion. There is a little ramp that takes you to the other side of the store where you can do all of your custom stationery and invitation orders or DIY.Decent selection of tasteful, fun, seasonal novelty gifts. Nice selection of greeting cards that you arent going to find other places. What they lack is a true scrapbooking section. They dont sell cardstock or most scrapbooking kitsch.

Although Paper Source is a chain store and internet retailer it has the vibe of a little paper boutique. If you want an alternative to Hallmark, this place has plenty of quirky cards for any occasion. They also stock lots of fun gift items along with some crafting materials and supplies. Worth a browse.

Paper Source is my go to location to purchase wrapping paper and cards for the holiday, as well as year round gifts. Their selection is fabulous, the hardest part being what paper to choose! Their cards are unique as well, so you know you wont be showing up to an occasion with the same trite card as 10 other people. Staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Staff not too friendly/knowledgeable, my impression is high turnover due to low wages...the papers are fantastic, pricey. Great gifty things in addition to arts and crafts supplies. Pay your workers better wages!

My fiancé and I visited the store today to pick out some stationery for DIY wedding cards. The store associate Nick helped us immensely by showing us the various paper options, recommending color schemes, paper sizes, and also the stamps we could use to bring an element of fun to the handwritten cards. Ive also attended the crafting workshops at a couple different Paper Source locations and I recommend them highly.

They have a great selection of unique, beautiful paper, but the real thing I love Paper Source for is their gifts. They have never failed me when I needed a last minute cute but individual gift - from a shoe shine kit for my husband, to flamingo or sugar skull themed items for my mom and bf respectively. Pricey, but worth it when you need it! Their card selection is only ok, IMO. They also have stationary, albums, and scrapbooking materials, which Ive never used so cant speak to quality or price, but theyre there.

If you are reading a review of a paper retailer... I like you. Paper Source makes an effort to influence your feelings about using various forms of pulped media upon which to add ink, carbon, charcoal, pastel pigment, or paint to convey text or images to a fairly limited and specific audience. In this store, it becomes clear the message I need to send is too good for an email or plain paper stock. But then I hesitate and think that maybe my message isnt that great but by imprinting it on a rough-hewn, tangible pressing with visible natural fibers- the recipient will be moved. I prefer a certain type of personalized hand-writing which I cannot seem to produce. I find myself wishing I could dash off a note of intensity and need with a script that says, I must communicate with you so urgently and with import that I can barely manage to spare the moments needed to close my os... and Im writing it on this paper because I love you. Dont settle for crummy paper if youve got something worth writing. Unless all you have is something like a napkin or a scrap of receipt and using it shows that if you dont express yourself immediately you will just die. For printer-stock... its about being formal and respecting that youre probably softening some lousy news... Open 11-5 or by appointment only. Closed Sunday and Monday. If reading this matters to the reader, hes irritated. But in the back of his mind hes saying, But... at least the bad news came on fine paper-stock... and I love the font.

Papersources point-of-sale system seems to be defective. I tried paying with a debit card, and it declined the card. I was asked to key in the card numbers and it was declined again. I was worried that my card was compromised because it should not have been rejected. I paid with a different credit card, which the system accepted. The end result is that I was charged three times for the same purchase. Not good. If I could give zero stars I would.
