These guys are the real deal! I’m so gratefulfor them. I stopped in with a trunk that wouldnot open. Even though they were busy, they made time for me! Hosea persisted in spite of great difficulty and figured out where the jam was. He spent a good hour helping me and when I went to ask what I owed them, I was told just to “pass the kindness along”. These guys could have easily charged me a great deal. Their level of kindness and integrity is above and beyond what I would have expected. I highly recommend them and their services.

Do no take your car for inspection, SCAM!They failed me because of my rear brakes (which I changed 5000mi ago) and then my mechanic confirmed they were good and looked new. I Didnt change them , came back to the same place and passed inspection...They want to fool you so they get the bussiness to fix your car for no reason.

DO NOT use this place for inspections. They failed the two people in front of us and then they failed us for our tires being cracked. Three of them. Our Honda CR-V is 4.5 years old and has less than 25k miles on it.Took it to a tire place and the guy tells us, Your tires are fine. Theres some tiny cracks, but these are still drivable and in good shape. We replaced all four in any case, but could have avoided this by going to a reputable inspection garage.When we went back for re-inspection, they failed the woman three cars in front of us AND the man two cars ahead of us (also for his four tires). The woman directly in front of us had a red R on her car. We talked to her and she said they failed her brakes the day before, but she took it to her mechanic who told her, Your brakes are completely fine.All of their 1-star reviews here on Google and on Yelp are for, you guessed it, shady inspection services. Ill be reporting them for this and hope theyre stripped of this service.AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I had a very positive experience here today. I brought my car over because one of the windows would only go halfway up. They told me it would be something like $125 to open it up and take a look at it. I left my car there for a few hours and then received a call that it was ready to be picked up. They wound up being able to fix the issue without opening the door up and didnt charge me anything. They very easily could have still charged me that money. Ill be bringing business here in the future. Thanks!

It was great customer service by the gentleman up front. I got my car in a timely manner and there was good communication. However, I received my car back and the drivers area was extremely dirty. There was oil dirt marks on my door handle, steering wheel, the mat had an oily substance that I could not remove with the whips I had and so therefore I had to come back and ask the mechanic to please use their cleaning products to remove the mess left behind. Otherwise service was great.

Ran in for a quick vehicle inspection. These guys move the process along quickly. This was my first MA inspection having just moved to the area. Everyone was helpful and answered my questions. In and out under an hour. Full service repair shop.

My family and I was traveling to Boston and when we arrived we lost our brakes on our car! We called AAA for a tow and the driver recommended Broadway Gas. I called them and spoke to Nick and explained my car was on route to his garage. Nick and the team were very quick to call us and update us on the car. Within 3 days the team at Broadway Gas was able to get the parts needed to get us on the road to head home!!!

Came here for inspection, the person helping me told me he was tired when I asked him if he could put on my front license plate during the inspection and he didn’t speak to me at all otherwise- no paperwork detailing what needed to be done, even though I was assured by the front desk guy that there was paperwork in the car. They gave me a rejection and didn’t give me any info on what needed to be fixed, and I was rushed out - really awful customer service and poor communication.

This is a fantastic place to get your car checked if needed. They saw me the day I called and the moment I got there, there was someone ready to inspect the issue. They diagnosed the problem and were very honest about pricing and the quality of my car. Both the boss and the mechanic that worked with me were so kind, welcoming, helpful and genuine.

Nick and his team provide exceptional service. They work around the clock to fit their customers schedules, have always made time to squeeze me in, and are very fair and honest when it comes to diagnosing/repairing. I had the same experience as others -- DO NOT use this place for state inspections. They failed my 2016 Mazda 3 with 25K miles for too much break wear. Believing them, but unwilling to have them work on my car, I took it to the mechanic that Ive been going to for 20+ years, and who I trust entirely. When he heard the story, without knowing where I went, he asked if I went to Broadway Gas -- theyve developed a reputation for doing crooked inspections, presumably to drum up business. My guy did a careful inspection, and told me that I have something like 20K miles left on my brakes before they need to be replaced. This, despite the fact that he would have stood to collect $1K for the job that he refusted.At my guys advice, I went to Mass Inspections on Mystic River Parkway, and they agreed -- the brakes are fine.FWIW, my only bad experience here was for the inspection, but I would never consider giving any business at all to a place that behaves this way. Not even gas.

I love these guys! Nick the owner is very professional and does whatever he can to make my experience a pleasant one. The car is always finished on time and fixed right the first time.Wendall is very knowledgeable and a great mechanic he listens to the customer and diagnosed my brake problem and fixed it without replacing anything.He fixed the exhaust on my 911 which I struggled to get right myself.I highly recommend these guys.

Incredible service! went in for a state inspection and they were super speedy and helpful. put in two new lights for me and put on my front plate. great experience, would definitely recommend!

They quoted me $65 for an oil change and charge $80. They also left my car idling for 45 minutes while I was coming to pick it up. I found it running with the A/C blasting and the window open. Some rain got in as well, though it luckily does not seem to have damaged the electronics.

I came here for my state inspection and Dennis was extremely helpful and nice. He alleviated any concerns I had and ensured me they would be thorough. Andy did my inspection and was meticulous. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Will come back here for anything else I need.

Havent gotten any repairs here but this is my go to place for annual inspection. Convenient, quick. Im usually in and out of there in 15-20 minutes depending on how many cars are ahead of me in line for inspection. Highly recommend.Used to be cash only but not sure if still the case given the pandemic

Went for gas and left amazed. Nick and Jose helped me remove rusted bolts from my license plate. Then helped me out with an inspection. All within 20 mins in the middle of the day. Real helpful.

Ive been here twice and both times, everyone was extremely friendly, fast, and professional. I never worried that I was being over-priced--they were patient with my questions and went above and beyond to fix my car without pressuring me to make fixes that werent urgently needed.

I found out about this place through a friend. Great service! I don’t know much about cars and they took the time to educate me about everything. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I could feel the difference within seconds of driving my car how much better it was. Never thought I would say this but looking forward to the next time I need something fixed.

Very good service including last minute repairs!

I took my car here for its yearly inspection, which it unfortunately failed due to the brakes needing to be replaced. I called around the area to obtain a few quotes and they also ended up being the least expensive (not by a lot, but might as well save some money). I was able to bring my car back the same day I called, and it took around 2.5 hours to get the brakes changed. Afterwards, they performed a re-inspection and passed my car for the year. Unfortunately, a few days later the brakes were making noises, so I called the shop again and brought it in same-day. They took a quick look and fixed a minor issue without trying to charge me for anything further, which I was worried about. I’m not deducting a star for this because I do think it’s something that could have happened anywhere and they were very nice and quick about fixing it. I will plan to go here again next year for my inspection.

Nick has provided me with the best customer care, and the work he puts into his job is unmatched. I came in to fix my brakes and tires, and both times my car was in and out in no time. My car has had no issues since, so I fully trust the work these guys do and are capable of. Nick and his fellow employees are extremely friendly and nice to work with. We first had our inspection done here, and it went quickly and smoothly! We called in the morning and they said we could come right in (we actually went somewhere else first, and they mistakenly told us that we couldnt get our car inspected until we had our license plates even though the RMV told us we needed to get our car inspected with our temporary license plates.) We really appreciated how professional and knowledgeable Dennis & the staff were, especially with changing COVID-related RMV rules. We came by a week after, when we got our license plates, about 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday, and Dennis and someone else helped us get around some stripped rusty screws we had in our car to screw in our license plates at no cost. All in all, a great experience. Their easy availability, friendliness, and professionalism have made us return customers!

I chose Broadway Gas and Auto because of the excellent reviews on Google, and I wasnt disappointed. I had been putting off maintenance on my car due to the pandemic and of course $$$. I knew Id have a bit of work Id need done so I wasnt surprised when I had a list of suggestions from the mechanic and owner. They werent pushy about the repairs at all, but I went ahead and had them quote me. Yes, it was a lot but yet, it was still cheaper than what the dealership wanted to charge me. Of course, all the repairs came with a 2 year warranty so I felt good about going through with it. I got everything I needed done and now I can feel a positive difference with how my car drives. I feel like I put new life into it! Everyone I encountered at the shop was great to talk to; engaging in conversation with my fiancé and I (who are both pretty chatty). I felt like this was a place that appreciated my business and that they wanted me to feel like I could have a trustworthy place to return to. I know Ill be back- but hopefully not too soon.

I had a broken temperature gauge and a completely dead car. I called in and they were able to take me right away for service. By 6pm, my car was completely fixed and good as new. Dennis and team were incredibly friendly and prompt. They took the time to go through the issues with my vehicle and explain the services needed. Their prices were very fair as well. Would definitely recommend.

I went there for the inspection and I failed which was totally understandable while I had leak on the exhaust and have had dry out tires. The person who was working on the front desk gave me a paper which was explaining the issue of the car. It was saying that I need to fix “exhaust, change tires and NO DUCK TAPE ON THE CAR”. ( By the way, I have had duck tape on my right mirror since I got the car and I went thru 4 inspections with that but I could understand if they would fail me because of that which I think it would be better if I could change the entire mirror.) So, I asked the person that what exactly I need to do now and he said; “ all you need to worry about is the exhaust and tires” while the report was saying NO DUCK TAPE ON THE CAR. I asked him again if I need to do anything about that and he said once more “all you need to worry about is the exhaust and tires”. It got fixed somewhere else and I came back today. 1st; the mechanic didn’t even care to listen what I was saying and he just turn his back and go inside the garage while I was asking him a question and then front desk person whom said he was part of the ownership of this place told me that nobody said anything like it would be ok to come back with a mirror with a duck tape.I went there on Wednesday on the first time and it appears that who told me that all I need to worry about would be exhaust and tires only is the owner of that place and he says he doesn’t remember if he said anything like that to anyone.I mean, I understand if it’s not safe to use duck tape but what they did was obviously lying about things. They are just wasting your time for no reason. I could have get the mirror fixed at the same time with other issues but I will have to wait 2 more days to fix the mirror while I can’t use the car because they put RED R sticker on it. Also their staff is pretty rude unless you are one of their long term customer which I can’t understand how they got those customers at all.

I came here for an alternator replacement and the car was ready within the day. The explanations about the car were very clear. I will return here if I need anything else for my BMW.

Fastest state inspection Ive ever had! I was worried that there would be a wait since we went during the afternoon on the last Saturday of the month, but my car got inspected right away. We were in and out in only 10 minutes.

I frequently go to Broadway Gas and they always have quick service, I will not go to any other place for my inspection sticker, gas and some of their other services they are definitely honest and will also help you get the service you need. Everyone that works here is amazing. They’re usually pretty busy but for good reason-theyre very organized, professional, and can provide any car service you need in a timely manner. I came in for an inspection missing a side mirror and Dennis was on the phone within 30 seconds with someone to order me a new one. By the next day I had a new mirror and it cost me significantly less than what others quoted me. Every experience I have had here has been nothing short of fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

Dennis was great. Very straightforward and helpful. They changed my battery for a reasonable price, and also diagnosed and fixed my horn (broken wire) for free! Will be glad to go back in the future.

Happy to have met Dennis at Broadway gas. My car is my freedom and he BOTH understood that I needed repairs and in a timely manner but also wanted to practice Covid protocols as I am at risk. He took the time to Lysol the whole car for me after repair as well as wearing gloves and mask and allowing me to watch at a safe distance . I have gotten gas here many times but never serviced my car here.......shame on me for never seeking service here prior to that day but we have found a new home for all our families car needs.

My car was towed to Broadway on my tow drivers recommendation. The car had totally died. I figured it was the alternator, which it was, along with some other things. The car was ready on time and was running beautifully, but I heard another noise so I took it back to them and I needed control arms replaced. And then on top of that my computer in the car died! Long story short Broadway fixed everything and also got me a refurbished computer for my car as one from Ford would have taken two weeks to get and cost $1,400. I needed my car back to go to an appointment and Broadway had it back to me on time. The staff there explained everything to me that was being done and I would happily recommend them if you need your car repaired.

They wanna charged me 60 dollars for a state inspection, which should be 35 set by the government.

First, I was able to drop in for a state inspection during covid - thats huge as some places have to take customers by appointment because of too many people needed work done now. The staff are all extremely nice and friendly yet professional. I am definitely considering this my go-to car servicing place.

I think the mechanical work done at this garage is of good quality. I was unfortunately made very uncomfortable by the behavior of the person running the front desk. He did not seem to treat all customers with the same level of respect, dignity. It was super awkward, and I was left with a sickening feeling. In the brief time I was in the office he was rude to 2 different older customers who happened to be people of color. My own head was spinning from the giant bill I had been presented with, so I could not react well myself. But I am uncertain about using their services again.

I came to fix my car after my brakes started making noise. Dennis took all the info and told me he will be in touch. After 30 minutes I got a phone call telling me the diagnostics and suggestions how (and if) to proceed. The car was ready within 2 hours. I don’t understand where all the good reviews were coming from. This is definitely THE MOST UNETHICAL AND UNREASONABLE garage I’ve ever been. We went there for an inspection last week. They purposefully found excuses to fail us on parts that we have just fixed the week before to give us a safety failure. After that, they charged us over thousand dollars to fix these parts where the garages where we went only asked for a fifth of the cost. On our way out, there were 4-5 cars on the line all got their inspection failed. This is just a scam. They used inspection to rip you off and gain money. We want to warn anyone who plan to come to this place for inspection.

Dennis is an honest and great person who goes the extra mile to make sure you and your car are well taken care of. Car service and customer service deserve a 5-star rating. Highly recommended.

My vehicle started to run poorly and I was running late for an appointment . Pulled into Broadway Gas and met a professional man by the name of Dennis whom listened to my concerns took my number and told me to head to my meeting and not to worry about it he’d have one of his techs look at the car for me and get back to me. My experience is the complete opposite of the previous review. I must admit I was shocked that I failed in my 2016 Subaru. The employee Dennis took the time to show me the defects on my brakes and after I explained I had them repaired at Subaru advised that I go back as there must have been a defect in the repair. I took his advise and yes Subaru gave me the same assessment except for one thing. The price was 40% higher at the dealer then Broadway Gas. Unsure what to do and a little embarrassed because I didn’t believe him I called Dennis and he couldn’t have been more understanding. Broadway Gas did the repairs quickly for less money and double the warranty then the local Subaru dealer. Thank you to Dennis and his staff for their services

Have come here for a few repairs, including a new compressor, an exhaust issue, new brakes, inspections, and oil changes. Service is typically fast - drop off in the morning, have the issue diagnosed by 10am or so, and can have the repair completed by that evening. I havent done enough repairs to know how their prices compare with other places, but Nick, the front-man of the operation, is straightforward and approachable. Will keep coming here as long as I live in the area.

They were fantastic! I got my MA state inspection done and failed one safety check because my windshield wiper fluid tube was clogged. They fixed the problem right away and didn’t even charge me for the additional work! They re-did the test and I drove away with my new sticker.
