We had an amazing experience with American Marble and Granite! We truly cannot sing their praises enough to all our friends and family. We had marble installed in the bathroom and granite in the kitchen and a large island. We loved their slab quality and the amount of choices we had to select from. But really what stood out for us was the customer service provided by every staff member we interacted with throughout the process. EVERY interaction with EVERY staff member was friendly, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. We are building and we had delays as well as my changing my mind several times. We had a very positive and professional experience working with American Marble & Granite. All of their staff and installers we encountered throughout the process were helpful, prompt in their response, and personable. Brian, the person that came to template was knowledge, incredibly thorough and gave us great advice on the project. The installers were also very skilled and were patient in answering any questions we had about the upkeep and care of the quartzite. We are very happy with their work, which exceeded our expectations.

From the selection of our natural stone countertops to the fabrication and installation, American Marble and Granite was wonderful and professional throughout the process. We searched for a couple weeks throughout the greater Portland area before finding this diamond of a shop.They have a beautiful selection of natural and manufactured stone in a very comfortable show room where they are able to help you see what they can do with the stone and counter materials.They are a high tech fabrication shop too. This made the whole process so streamlined for us. Once we chose the stone, Guy and his team took the measurements of our kitchen counters directly to the stone. We were able to see the stone and how they were able to bookend the slabs to get them to match. The whole process was brilliant and quite impressive.The installation team was professional and true artist as they made the seams disappear. This group takes care to provide an exceptional experience from start to finish. They worked with us and our team on timing and solving those unique issues that pop up when remodeling.Highly recommend American Marble and Granite. We were so thrilled with what they did we went down and hired them to another countertop project right after they installed the kitchen island and countertops.

Had my old marble tile removed and replaced with a new quartz counter top. American marble did a fantastic job, very professional great service. It took 2 days for the project and when I came home after the first day they cleaned up any mess they made. I was so impressed I hired them to install my bar counter top in the man cave. Highly recommend, Paul and Ellen will take care of any need you have.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms and had the most positive experience using AMG. Clearly a very knowledgeable and hardworking staff, we were very pleased with our experience overall. Every person we dealt with at American Marble and Granite was top notch-knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating. They have a wide selection of stone and were super nice to hold my pieces for an extended period of time.From the sales people (Jennifer was our rep), to the person who templated (Brian) to the layout preview person (Ilyam) to the installers (Nick and Alberto), EVERYONE did such a great job to ensure our kitchen remodel turned out perfectly. I also have to acknowledge Guy, he even knew my voice on the phone when I called with timing updates!Our quartzite needed to have continuity of pattern over two waterfall edges matching an 86 long countertop. They did such a good job it looks like it was fabricated from one piece!Did I mention they were all prompt and courteous? None of the typical nightmares folks often experience with remodel projects, thanks to the fine folks at AMG!Kudos to this group of hardworking professionals. We purchased a new kitchen countertop from AG&M and were impressed by the courteous and professional manner in which the staff handled our ordering, measuring, and installation. The stone we were interested in was on backorder, but the staff was great at keeping us up to date on availability and dates. Were thrilled with our beautiful new countertop and would recommend AG&M to others!

After a significantly frustrating search for both granite and a granite fabricator - we finally found salvation in American Marble and Granite.Working with Susie was a breeze. She understood that we were on the tail end of a full house renovation and while we very much just wanted it done we were not willing to skimp on quality, nor was I willing to drop 3-5K on counters for a quite small kitchen.My wife and I were able to find a two pieces of remnant granite deep into their remnant piles (ie pretty old stuff). Susie knew that keeping costs down was important to us so we did the template and the installation ourselves. She came back with a quote half the price of any other company (for reference, we priced out 6 other companies).Susie was in constant contact with both me and my wife during the process (easier said than done most times!). While our fabrication date was moved back (aug 26th to aug 29th), Susie was more than apologetic about it. I cant say enough wonderful things this company.In a Portland housing market that seems like prices are outrageous and customer service has gone the ways of the Dinosaur; American Marble and Granite are the true exception. A family owned company that I would highly recommend to anyone.
