I have ordered items twice to be delivered to the River Oaks store and both times the service has been horrible. The first pickup the associates were too busy on their phones to assist me, the second pick up they only had 2 associates in the store a week before Christmas. After waiting for over 30 minutes I went back to work. I will have to try again .

3 stars because I had repairs and when they came in no email or call. I call the store and the lady said yes they are here. Says someone entered my phone number wrong. I find that very surprising when this isnt my 1st time in this store or 1st repair. I have been with Kays for 6 yrs same #...the manager seems very nice but the rest has never greeted me in the hand full of times Ive been there.

They sell watches here but has no employee that works there that can remove links from the watch for you. Then customer service tells you to travel to another location (when the next location is 25-30 minutes away) OR send the watch in for service just to remove a link! This place is a joke!

Not once have or do they ever answere their phone. My jewelry was supposed to be done in two weeks and it is now going on 3 weeks. I havent gotten an email nor have anyone ansered a phone.

The women were so bougie and when I told them how much my fiance was spending.The lady said you need to go all the way over there and asked another employee to help me.And proceeded to help another couple who they thought was spending more .I dont believe a 20,000 dollar ring is going to make my engagement better.They obviously put a price on rather you are worth helping or not.Worst experience ever ...

#LongPostAlert‼️ “Kay Jewelers: NOT OKAY...!!” Where do I begin...?? There are so many layers to this. July 2nd, 2018 - I take my wedding ring (both the engagement ring and band) to Kay Jewelers In River Oaks Mall to have it serviced. My ring is white gold, which needs to be dipped in rhodium to keep it from yellowing. Anyway, I take it in, the employee is supposed to check the diamonds before sending it out to have it dipped. Oddly enough, the diamond checkers aren’t working. She looks at the ring under a microscope and says that the diamonds look fine. Sends the ring out and says that the repair will take about 2 weeks to complete. I receive a call from an employee at the store about 2 weeks later. My ring is back, but apparently I have two chipped diamonds in my center stone that need to be replaced. (Isn’t that what was supposed to be checked before the ring was sent out in the first place??” FYI: There are NO chipped diamonds indicated on the receipt I received on July 2nd.) She asks if its ok to go ahead and send the ring to corporate for repairs. Of course it is. So she sends it back. She tells me that it will take about 8-10 weeks for repair. Fast forward 8-10 weeks... I receive a call on a Friday from Kays, “Hello Mrs. East, your repair is back in the store.” I get to the store only to find that the ring that was returned is NOT MINE. I explain to the employee (who happens to be the store manager) that the ring is not mine and proceed to show her pictures. She looks at both rings and agrees that the ring is not mine. She tells me that she will call corporate on Monday to figure out what happened. Fast forward to Thursday of the next week. I give them some time because clearly this is just a mixup and it will be taken care of soon. I receive a call from the assistant manager. This is the conversation.Asst. Manager: Hello Mrs. East, was your ring engraved??Me: Yes ma’am.Asst. Manager: What did it say??Me: My initials. RDE. Did you guys find my ring??Asst. Manager: I’m not sure, I don’t know. I have corporate on the other line and they told me to call you and find out.Me: Ummm... Ok. Fast forward to Thursday of the NEXT week. (By the way, it is now SEPTEMBER 6th, I get an email from Kay Jewelers at 11:46PM, “The repair you requested is back in the store and ready for pickup.” The next morning I head to the mall expecting to pick up my ring. I get there and not one employee in the entire store has a clue what I am there for. There is no jewelry pickup ready for me. I even gave them the order number and still NOTHING. I call corporate while standing there in the store. The young lady at the corporate office ensures me that she will do whatever she can to figure out what is going on. Fast forward to MONDAY of the next week. I have to call corporate again because I have not received any calls about the status of my case and the whereabouts of my wedding ring. The young lady from corporate places me on hold while she calls the store. She comes back to the line and ensures me that my ring is at the store ready for pickup.Are you ready for this?? I make my way to the store only to find that the ring is.... (you guessed it) NOT MINE. Not only is the ring not mine, but it is the exact same ring that I went to pickup the first time, only now its engraved...!!So now, not only am I angry, I am deeply offended and extremely insulted!!In my opinion, there is a way to rectify any and every situation. Kay Jewelers has failed miserably to do so. This is NOT OKAY. And they keep insisting that the rings were NOT stolen!! SO where are they!?!?!!?! What really happened?!?!?! Please share this article, and while you’re at it, google “Kay Jewelers Steals Diamonds.” This is a practice that is WAY more common than one would think. “Every Kiss” does not begin with Kay. Agony begins with Kay. Suffering begins with Kay. Stolen Diamonds begin with Kay. And lastly, lies begin with Kay. To add insult to injury, the rep called me this morning and offered me the cost of the ring plus and additional $650. ABSOLUTELY NOT ENOUGH!!

Completely unprofessional. They skipped over me 3 times on the sign in sheet. Took 2 additional work-ins even after I told them Ive been skipped over. Waited 20 min to be helped and still nothing. 2 staff folks just walking around talking and not helping anyone.
