Fast unloading, friendly stuff. busy in the mornings. Thigh dock. Do not park on State street. Cops are around. Park behind the building and go check in.I think , you might stay there , if you’re short with your hours or you have to stay overnight.

People are great, getting into the dock sucks, especially if there is a truck in # 5

The place supplies Chicagos finest meat to the people for our consumption. I love a good T-bone and Linz provides Chicagos best. Plus they offer great pay for Indiana and pay weekly.

Didn’t know how to get there. I came from 94 to Calumet street/US 41. All the streets my GPS said turn left on had no trucks signs. After the 4th no truck sign I turned any damn way. I got there. Parked on side of building until my 6:00a appt.

I ordered the 4 16 oz. USDA Prime Ribeyes. I usually buy USDA Choice Beef Ribeyes. I would grade the LINZ Ribeyes on the the lower end of USDA Prime. My USDA Choice Ribeyes from my meat provider are excellent. The USDA Prime Ribeyes from Linz are just a little bet better. I cook my steaks to Medium rare and let them rest for 5 to 7 minutes. The difference in Price between the Choice Steaks and the USDA Prime Steaks from Linz was not worth what I paid. There was no wow factor in the Linz Steaks. Unless Linz can come up with a product that would make me a believer. I will stay with what I currently buy. The Linz steaks are great. My USDA Choice Steaks are Great. There is a great difference in the Price

1 hr unloading, dock 5 is easy to get in if you use your brain. Parking on the side of the train tracks.

Veeeeeeeryyyyyyyy slow unloading, expect to stay there minimum 5h. A bunch of lazy thugs listening 👂 to hip hop while working... No parking around, youll be lucky if you find a parking on the street. Will be very hard to backup into dock 4 if theres a truck ⛟ in 3 and 5.

If youre currently looking for a job that pays little to nothing and will leave you with a headache then this is the job for you. Talk about poor management.. Management promised more work space but all they did was create more space to overfill. Workers are constantly miserable on a daily basis. The raises they give you are a slap to the face. Half the time product isnt where its supposed to be. Supervisors get $5000.00 christmas bonuses while everybody else gets a HALF of a ham. I mean the list goes on and on. The manager mark has driven the hardest working employees ive ever seen away because he cant get through one day without yelling at you. Meats by linz is the definition of broken promises. No chance at advancement opportunity. Unless of course you manage to last 5 years and finally youll recieve a shift lead position which is a .50 cent bonus! Yay! Lmao what a joke. I hope people really read this before ever considering to work for this unorganized hellhole. #railroadsalotbetter ;) $$$
