Ive been a Sailfish owner for 20 years. I started with a 236CC and moved my way up to a 290CC. These boats offer an amazing ride in the choppy waters or New England. The high freeboard and deep V hull make for a dry and smooth ride.I love the amount of room behind the leaning post. plenty of space to maneuver when fighting a big fish.Appreciated by hard-core fisherman and families alike, these boats never fail to please. Ive been in all the major boat brands and Id put my sailfish up against any of them.

I am the owner of a Sailfish 245 DC bought new 5/2020. The boat is beautiful and I love the layout and the way it rides. Unfortunately, the attention to detail in the construction of the boat and customer service after the sale have been lacking, both from Sailfish and the dealership where it was purchased. This is the third boat boat I have purchased new and never have I had so many warranty items to deal with. A technician at the dealership confirmed that of all the boat brands they sell, Sailfish boats return with the most defects. Considering the price they are charging, you would think they could provide a higher quality product and much better customer service.

I bought a 2006 2360 CC brand new. It has been a great boat, no real issues and it has held up well...I have only two complaints, the wiring from the factory was VERY sloppy but no wiring failures after 14 years. My boat also had a ventilation issue at the props and was very wet riding. I put 4 bladed props on my engines and the boat rides a little higher on plane and they solved almost all of any ventilation issues... Very happy owner..

Boats are beautiful customer service not so good. If you want a company that will provide great award winning customer service after you spend thousands this is not it. Unfortunately my next boat will not be a Sailfish and I own one now.

Went to a dealership about a month ago..I purchased a 27 walk around.. but nothing but a nightmare... And the dealership admitted they never sold that boat before so they have no idea what theyre doing..Between the dealership and shellfish.. I spent a lot of money for a boat .. we used 3 trips. Anchor did not work.. and other things the first trip out.. then I plugged it into check the air and the water heater . And the boat almost sunk... apparently it was never checked buy selfish or the dealership... He promised me parts would be in on the 14th and of course the parts never showed up at the dealership they blamed it on selfish .... I have a $200,000 boat I cant use I will never recommend selfish to anybody......

Own a 290CC and the boat is great. Have spoken with the staff including Paul Hoppes III and they were terrific. They provided answers to my questions and provided excellent customer service. This my second Sailfish boat and I am very satisfied.

We recently upgraded our Sailfish 2005 218cc with a single 150 Yamaha to a 2020 270cc with twin 150 Yamahas. We did our first short fishing trip yesterday in 4-5 seas and this boat ride like a dream with minimal spray. Admittedly there are some glitches with the windlass and also Yamaha information system, but our salesman is helping us through them. All my husband keeps saying is WOW, what a boat.. He has been boating 60+ years and its his first brand new boat. We will enjoy all the advances and technology Sailfish has included.

We bought a brand new Sailfish 5 years ago. The boat is detailed at least 2 times a year and is always kept on a lift. The port side back section on the outside of the boat started looking discolored, and spider cracks have developed in just that area. We had it picked up by our local dealer to have it looked at, and was told that it looked like something happened at the factory or at the dealership where we bought it. The dealership told us that the boat had never been on the water before we bought it, and nothing had happened to the boat while it was there. Sailfish has refused to do anything about it so we are at a loss as to what is wrong with the boat. We are very disappointed with Sailfish and will never buy another one. We also live in a very big fishing community, so we will make sure to tell everyone we know about how Sailfish doesnt stand behind their product.

Recently downsized boats into a 290 Sailfish Center Console with twin 300 Yamahas. This has to be the best riding boat in its size category. Great boat! not a single squeak or creak. Love it!

Sailfish provided excellent customer service and assistance in getting a replacement windshield for my 22 center console boat. This is the best boat,and customer service by far. I will never look at any other boat , sailfish is the best on the market

No customer service after your warranty runs out. I made contact with them concerning some issues on my boat and they replied asking for specifics. I sent them an email with the list of items and photos and they have gone silent.

I would never ever recommend buying a sailfish boat. They do not stand behind the boats. You have to fight to get anything fixed. Customer service sucks. Buyer beware!

I am President of CareFree Boat Club of Virginia Beach and we have many Sailfish and Southwind boats in ouir fleet. We have found that these vessels out performe many of their top name cometitors in their class they apear to be a notch above the rest.This is a company that takes pride in their workand the proof of that is in the product.

Company provides ZERO assistance in helping you get a part for your boat if it is over 10 years old. I expected some sort of effort and received none. First and last Sailfish product for me.

Really nice boat, but the company is run by a bunch of idiots. They have burned through factory sales representative, throwing them to the curb, every 4 months for the past several years.The founder, Paul Hoppes, sold out to Georgia Oakwood Partners and if they every find out how he is running the business, and what he seems to be doing to keep them happy, with his sidekick Howard Libin, they both will be removed, if not worse. Its a shame, but anybody seeking employment, keep your distance from this operation.
