I like Harbor Freight. They have a good selection of tools and supplies but what kills it for me every time is the checkout. Never more than one cashier, always slow and rather ill trained. I just want to get my stuff and get out but I have to endure the same company line about extended warranties and coupons and membership every time I go there and this is after standing in line forever.

Always helpful. We had many questions on a home generator. They answered every question. They know their products. Clean store and well marked to find what you want.

Employees were great to the extent of showing my the item I was buying was $160 and there was one on the return rack that obviously someone bought, used for what they needed and returned. I was able to get what I needed for $181

The less expensive place to shop. But dont buy the cheap face mask..why buy a protection device when you cant see out of it..how safe is that when working with a grinder.

The staff is not very helpful. I spent over a half hour yesterday walking around trying to find things and even asked for help. They were not exactly helpful.

Went to the Cadillac store and they were great and helped me return the bent plane I got in traverse city store

Wow! Angie the Assistant Manager and Tammy were so very helpful. They answered the phone after closing and made it possible for us to get a gift to our son in Cadillac. We were out of state which made it even a bigger challenge. Never enough people for help. I did manage to get my 55lb anvel in my car, hold it for the cashier, and get it back in my cart. Also, didnt have many of my coupon items. Cashier was friendly. Prices were great!

This is by far my favorite Harbor Freight. Between here, Traverse and Ludington, Ill always make the extra hour drive to come here. And always make sure you put the extended service plans on the items. Ive had some items I never need it on, but its great when your item breaks and you go in, get a brand new one and all you have to do is pay for another plan. Then youre set for another few years. My tools get beat up, so I ALWAYS put warranties on all my stuff. 👍

This place has everything from pet food and supplies to tools, if you need it you can probably find it here! Not like Tractor Supply or Farm and Home. They also have coupons for free stuff, so everytime you shop, you can get something for free!! They also have an awesome clothing department! I love going there❣️

The workers are always very friendly when I go in. They have a ton of really good sales on there already cheap prices. This is my go to store when I need cheap tools that will last. Signing up for the mailing list is definitely worth it because you get coupons in the mail all the time.

Harbor freight has amazing prices on tools. They mostly work without issues, but you can expect to get what you pay for. Most of the time Im pleasantly surprised, others... Well, you never know.

I know some people will tell you that harbor freight tools has junk tools but Ive had pretty decent luck so far. If Im in need of a tool that has to be high quality for some reason then I would buy it. Otherwise the tools harbor freight have work great for me. Anytime Ive had an issue, I either return it with out any hassle or if its past the 90 days, I just chalk it up as something i got good use out of

I was a professional remodeling contractor and always bought top of the line tools because thats what I was taught. The tools at Harbor Freight were second rate was all I ever heard. I have saved a lot of money buying tools at Harbor Freight and the quality of the tools have been up to my standards.

Bought a floor jack. Didnt work. Leaked most of the fluid out of a place it shouldnt. Upon closer inspection it looks like this jack was returned once already. Cheaply taped and the styrofoam was busted and one of the pins that hold the handle slot down were missing.

As with all Harbor Freight stores, there is a serious lack of logic with their item placement within the store. With that said, I had to interact with 4 employees. All were extremely cordial and most helpful. All were good natured and with smiles on their faces. Because of these employees is why I gave my experience 5 stars!

Nice tools for right price but they won’t get all the colors for the 33 inch tool cart yet they have all on display and won’t even sell that one.... and when I asked a worker about getting me a green 33 inch tool cart since they are on sale and they told me they don’t have any so I asked when they would get next shipment of them or if they will order one and they won’t even do that or tell me when! And then when I asked about display they won’t sell that one but I’m very disappointed because they can display a cart that they don’t have and if I ordered it online it would be 100 dollars for shipping which isn’t right so they need to get more inventory of their carts if they are having a sale or if they don’t have the certain color cart then they shouldn’t display it either.....

I have been shopping at these stores before they even had one in my market area. Ive owned repair businesses, and have spent thousands. I had one cruddy plastic tool that broke. Even though they take your phone number, keep track of your purchases , they would not give me a refund because I couldnt find the receipt. I will never go back. Hello baines farm and fleet

Walked into this harbor freight and asked the cashier if the had any of the free flashlights they give away with an order. She very angrily, spastically says yeah but we dont just give them away to anyone that walks in off the street I said, yes I know, Im asking if you have them in stockVery rude and unprofessional way to treat a customer. Her attitude/outburst made her look like a drug addictOn another trip to the store, I was looking for an item and the shelf was empty. I asked an employee if they could see if they had any in back. The employee rudely responded nope

Its not a completely bad store sometimes you get what you pay for. So Id say a good 50-60% of the product is near useless, another 20 or so % has to be modified, the rest is decent. Some of the employees(specifically Cadillac) just seem to work there without knowing much about the tools. The store manager is least knowledgeable when it comes to any of the product, its use, or problem solving.

The merchandise is great. The associates are fantastic. Bargains galore. Cant complete projects without them. Thank you.

Horrible return/exchange policy.i bought a miter saw from these guys and went to use it a few days latter and realized I made a mistake by buying a cheaper brand saw because this one dose not cut square and parts are loosely falling off. Unfortunately I lost my receipt.Harbor fright will not even give me store credit or exchange this saw.so now I am out 155 $ and can not even use this saw😡
