They had everything we needed to start playing a saxophone. And my son is taking lessons there. They are so helpful with all of our questions.

Ive known Luke since 1984, and hes been honest and knowledgeable since before. My high school band director was learning instrument repair from him, and that saved me quite a bit of money. Luke taught this even though it was a business-reducing shoot myself in the foot move, probably so he could do more serious work, like to refinish my 1937 Selmer Balanced Action professional alto saxophone; he did a great job.

Wonderful people giving personal attention and really caring about individual needs and how well the instrument in need plays for you. After 4 years of use and mild repairs, my daughters Clarinet came back like new! We paid a little extra for convenience and precision care, and it was well worth it!!

As a seasoned musician, I have certainly seen my share of decent and even fine repairs. However, I can easily say that the quality of their craftsmanship is nothing short of impeccable. They are sort of in a class all by themselves, especially for this region of the state (or state as a whole).

Weve been working with The Wind Works folks for nearly 15 years. Weve purchased multiple instruments and had our childrens musical instruments serviced. When I was in band in middle school about in 1995, I had rented my instruments there. Now Im taking my daughter to get her clarinet there. What a great place and friendly and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable of the variety of instruments. Definitely a great place, and Recommended to any one whose serious about getting an instrument, or taking lessons!

Ive had Luke and Misty work on my (many) instruments for almost 25 years. They have worked on my sopranino sax, two (2) alto saxophones, two (2) tenor saxophones, three (3) baritone saxophones, a flute, and a piccolo. I have even done some consignment sales with them. They do top quality work and charge very reasonable prices. You can not find two more qualified and reputable people in the business world. I know many members of the Genesee Wind Symphony, the Flint Concert Band, the Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and the Genesee Valley Concert Band, and their reputation, workmanship, professionalism, and honesty are second to none among Flint area musicians. I highly recommend The Wind Works for any instrumental music needs you may have.

I usually shop at the music store in Grand Blanc but was passing through and stopped here at the Wind Works. I was very disappointed to see that all of their accessories are overpriced. Some of the stuff was double in price. Needless to stay I wont be going back there.
