The best place to go for appliances. I purchased a refrigerator and was very pleased with the price. I missed getting it delivered by the service they use. My godson rented a truck and came to get it. They closed at 5 but they waited for him to get there and loaded it. Everyone was extremely courteous from Gabriel the sales person, Lisha the loader and even had the opportunity to meet Mr. Allen himself. The prices are excellent and they have a large variety of whatever you are looking for. I had never heard of them but am so glad they were recommended to me by Thomas Appliances and then my sister. Check them out I think you will agree.

I went in to purchase a new/refurbished refrigerator approximately 5 years ago because ours suddenly stopped working. Not only did I get excellent service from Mr. Allen himself but I decided to finance it so I didnt have to use my savings. I was approved for enough to get more than the refrigerator I actually needed so I decided to buy a new washing machine since ours was getting extremely old. Mr. Allen took the time to explain why some of the washers were better than others, as well as taking the time to talk to me in great detail about what my needs were in a refrigerator and helped me pick out the best refrigerator based on those needs. After I picked out my appliances with the help of Mr. Allen I was referred to an excellent delivery company that went above and beyond.Unfortunately about a week later my new refrigerator stopped working. They were sincerely apologetic and dispatched a service man as quickly as possible (I believe his name was Gary) he came out and fixed what he thought was the issue quickly. Unfortunately it worked for a week or so just to resume the same issue. We struggled to get it fixed throughout the warranty and they continued to try and fix it beyond the 30 day warranty since the problem arose during the warranty period. After 3 or 4 times in less than 2 months of the same part breaking it became clear to me that this refrigerator was going to be an issue. I asked if I could exchange it since the problem arose during the warranty and it continued to break the same part over and over, Mr. Allen was very kind and courteous and agreed to exchange the refrigerator for something else he had in stock. I picked out something and havent had a problem since.I have referred many people to Allen appliances and everyone has been extremely happy with them. Over 5 years later both of the refurbished appliances are still going strong with no signs that they are going to stop anytime soon. I will definitely go back to Allen appliances for all my appliance needs in the future and will continue to refer folks in need of a appliance without breaking the bank.

My friend Mike D bought a Maytag 5 Burner Gas Range. It was a great deal as they have many factory returns but it still has full factory warranty. Shannon was extremely helpful and made the transaction smooth. They offer easy financing but know its very high interest similar to a Rent A Center but not quite as bad. Name brand appliances with very fair prices.

We got a dryer from there got it home and couldn’t get it to work, we called them back and they had us bring it right in to see what the issue was and they exchange it with another one with no problem at all.We will start going there from now on for any appliances, and will recommend family or friends to go there too.

Loved the fact you can get major discounts just got a dent or scratch or even just an open box. Plus they have an awesome financing option which can be a life saver. Was able to get both my stainless steel stove and stainless refrigerator for under $900 both new! Plus came with a year warranty. They also have refurbished used stuff for even cheaper options. And they offer an out side agency if you need the stuff delivered. Definately recommend. Was able to take all my stuff home for only $40.

Last summer we purchased a Kenmore stackable washer and dryer from Allen Appliance. The salesperson was knowledgeable, gave us a very fair price and good advice on detergent, etc. The set has worked out great for us. Here we are 6 months later and I couldnt find our copy of the sales receipt. I called the store on the outside chance they might be able to provide me with another copy. Gabrielle answered the phone, asked me a question or two, and has the receipt in less than 5 minutes. I asked if she could email it to me and it was in my inbox shortly thereafter. Im not easily impressed but I will tell you Im very impressed with Allen Appliance.... with their merchandise, their prices and their customer care. We would not hesitate to shop there again!

Very close to Thanksgiving my stove went out on me. Didnt know how I would afford something new around the holidays when a coworker suggested Allen Appliance. I was in and out and on my home with a new (well used, but new to me) glass top stove! Prices were awesome, and the service provided was exceptional. Even my 8 year old son mentioned how nice they were. Overall I was more than pleased with my purchase. Its seems others feel mislead, but all rules warranties and repairs were explained in depth at the time of purchase. Great Place!

Initially speaking with Shannon to schedule my repair was a nice experience. Gary came out to fix my washer at 4:23pm. Appointment was at 4-5:30. He turned water off and disconnected the hose with no issue, fixed washer. Turned hot water back on, leaking all over my floor. He suggested since its not used much to leave it off. I was able to use it prior but he didnt want me to be able to use hot water for washing going forward? It was not leaking prior to him touching it. He informed me he couldnt fix it and to call the office. Requested payment for fixing the washer and left. He left with water leaking all over my floor. I had to pay a plumber $150.00 to come after hours and fix what was left broken. The company refused to fix it. Carly at the office suggested I call consumers to fix it or someone who does regular maintenance on my water. I informed her consumers does not fix water pipes and I had no one who performs regular maintenance on my water pipes. She stated all managers were gone and there was nothing she could do. I asked for a call back from a manager same day and was denied. The next day I had to call the office, Shannon informed me Carly was only 24 and still lived with her parents. I was told Mr. Allen was going to be called and I would hear back. No resolution as of yet. Very disappointed I was left with leaking water all over my kitchen floor to deal with on my own. So unprofessional....Finally obtained a response from the company. The tech that they say is not a plumber deemed the part was old and he couldnt fix it. So I get the bill from my plumber and the company. I will never recommend anyone do business with this company for fear of further uncovered damage to your home created by the technicians hired by them. I will be informing Maytag about the service received.Shannon,Thank you so much for the admittance of the act. I find it interesting in both complaints in 24 hours Gary was the technician both times. The valve was not leaking upon arrival, it was not leaking when he disconnected the hose for shut off either. It started leaking after he was wrenching on it. If he is not a plumber he should have stated he was not authorized to disconnect hoses or touch anything to do with the plumbing. Your technician left my home with damage done and it looks to be a pattern given the other reviews. Thank you for your time. I will be in touch.

BEWARE-Terrible customer service and they do NOT stand behind their work! My dishwasher was under warranty and had an issue, whirlpool contracts with them, I did not choose to use them. Initially they were very pleasant and professional. The technician came to my house and fixed the issue back the beginning of August, everything was great. THAT VERY SAME night the springs on the door busted. I contacted Allen Appliance immediately to have it rectified. They sent their technician back out and determined the springs on the door busted. He assured me he would order the parts and would have it fixed. I explained that I was going back to work the middle of September and would like it fixed before that and that my warranty was going to expire. He assured me it would be taken care of. Fast forward to September 25, and I still have YET to hear from them about the part and getting the issue fixed. My warranty has since expired. I then contacted Shannon at Allen Appliance, such a peach that one is , who proceeded to tell me she has tried calling me several times and kept getting an error when calling. She checked to see if they still had the part and they did. I explained my warranty was expired and she said if we broke it, we will fix it. She then checked with the part specialist and then told me he would make sure it was covered under warranty (just a few words prior, it was their fault it broke). I asked her why they didnt send a letter or anything, but that is not their policy. She just kept insisting she tried calling me several times and that she kept getting the error message. I explained Ive had the same phone number for several years and that they have contacted me on that same number several times in the past. Subsequently, I told her that she likely didnt try to contact me and she interrupted me and spoke over me and eventually hung up on me, even though she INSISTS she is a customer service specialist. I called her back and asked her to call my number while on the phone with me and SHOCKER, it went through! She said well your phone could have been disconnected, which is impossible since its a business phone. She proceeded to tell me that I had to now take my issue up with Whirlpool because the warranty expired, even though the dishwasher door worked completely fine until the night their technician came to fix the other issue. How is this not their issue to fix? Terrible customer service, terrible experience. Would never recommend. Buyer beware if you have a whirlpool product as well.EDIT: In response to Shannon. Now you want to fix my dishwasher, yet 8 hours ago you told me I had to take it up with whirlpool now. Changing your tune now that you are getting a bad review. You did say if we broke it we will fix it. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the springs or door until after he left and I called immediately the next day to report it. This is also not a whirlpool issue, its yours.Yes, I did tell you that you would listen to me because you continued to talk over me and interrupt me. Which is terrible customer service and if you dont want to be treated like a child dont act like one.Youll also see the error you were receiving when you supposedly called was based on what you were dialing not an issue with my phone. Still shocks me it worked when we were on the phone but didnt for weeks prior. 🤔I also want to add I asked to speak to the owner and was denied. As he supposedly lives in South Carolina.I will take my business elsewhere. To someone who will appreciate my business and treat me with respect. Whirlpool has also been notified .

This place sold a stove. It didnt work when we came home (except the burners) so we called them. They said bring it back and exchanged it for a new and better one. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a new appliance.

Alright place to buy a used appliance. Lots of inventory,All freshly painted. Dont buy the extended 90 day warranty though as you have to load the appliance back up and take it there for service. They wont come to your house to service it. And they make you pay the transaction fee if you pay with a credit card. Youd think a business wouldnt pass the transaction fee on to the customer if your spending hundreds of dollars.

Two days ago I had a washer, which I had purchase from their line of products, late December last year, recently break down. Naturally we called Allens Appliance and a very friendly employee had answered, telling me to bring it in and they would check it out. Earlier today, I had to pick up my newly fixed washer from Allens Aplliance, which works great! My overall experience with this service/repair shop was a very good one! I rated it five stars because the service/repair was fast, effective, of good quality and being greeted with kindness and honesty really help devlope a loyalty to the place. If anything was to occur in the far future, I will be going back. :)

After a few months purchasing a fridge, the fridge completely quit working. Then the company was not willing to help with anything. On top of it, it took them a week to locate my receipt after 3 calls and finally coming in to the location. The office stated I purchased a washer, for $150 less than the total of my fridge. Extremely unorganized, and awful service. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Hats off to the staff at Allen Appliance. Excellent service for slightly used products. All items are fully tested, like new at lower cost, and come with a 30 day warranty. Ill be a repeat customer!
