Our garage door was not closing properly, while still under warranty from having our rollers and springs replaced earlier in the year. Gerald came out to assess our garage door. Micah came out to replace a broken torsion spring at our residence. He was very professional and looked over both garage doors. They were able to stop by the same day, provide a free estimate, and fix the issues in under two hours. Gerald was my technician and he was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We had an issue with a broken spring on our garage door. I called just after 8am and a technician was able to be out before 10 am. Weve used Reliable Garage Door at both our previous house and this one--always felt like they took the time to explain what they recommended and why, and did good work. I especially want to provide kudos to the last tech that came out, Justin C, who declined the opportunity to upsell us on an opener we really didnt need, and instead worked through a cheaper way to fix the actual cause of our problem. This past week, our spring broke upon closing the garage door for the evening. Next morning called to see if any available appointments were to be had and told that a tech could be sent out by mid-afternoon.Justin, our tech, came onsite and introduced himself and the steps to be done prior to the repair at hand. I feel like I hit pay dirt because I randomly called Reliable after running a Google search for garage door repair in my area while standing in a frigid garage unable to open the door. They were the first and only call I made. From the woman who took my frustrated call this morning to the man who came by shortly after to repair the door in the bitter, bitter cold, this company is top notch.I dont recall the womans name who scheduled the service call but she was fantastic. The door failing to open was the tip of the iceberg for me in an already very long morning. It was refreshing to make a call for repair help and have a live person answer the call who also sounded so kind and helpful, despite the fact that she fields those same calls all day long.Chuck was my service tech and he was great. He called before he arrived and was able to get to my home earlier than the window I originally scheduled for the repair. He patiently explained why the door would not open, showed me what needed to be repaired now, and what could be repaired at a later date. He then gave me a fair estimate for the work. He completed the job in out in my ice cold garage and now my garage door operates with stealth like silence. I could not be more pleased with the service. Call them. They are good people.

I was very pleased with the service. Our tech was Chuck Nichols and he was very pleasant to work with and did excellent and timely work. The temp was about 10 degrees but Chuck didnt complain at all. Our door broke on a Friday evening and it was fixed by Saturday noon. The operation of the door is improved and very smooth. I recommend Reliable to anyone needing garage door repair or replacement.

They were able to send someone out within a few hours of me calling. The person was there right at the start of the window given and inspected our garage door to let us know what was causing our current issue as well as other things we would want to fix in the future and why. He was not pushy at all and wrote up an itemized quote with everything wed discussed. We chose what we wanted to do that day and he immediately got to work and finished everything up in about an hour. He also wore a mask and kept a safe distance when going over everything which was very appreciated. I definitely will be calling them in the future to work on some of the other items on our list he emailed us.

I needed torsion springs replaced on my 2-car garage door. The tech, Dalton, came out and gave a free estimate to replace the springs. He also advised on replacing other parts as part of general/preventative maintenance. He was not pushy when I decided not to replace any additional parts. Tech gave advice on how to get the best longevity out of the door hardware. Pricing was the lowest compared to 3 other companies. Total time from arrival at the home to departure was 50 min. Tech made sure all my questions were answered and the door worked properly before leaving my home. I highly recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Reliable Garage Door, and highly recommend them. Our garage door opener inconsistently opened our garage door. Reliable came out, inspected the situation, and walked us through a few options to fix our issue. They were thorough in their explanation and didnt oversell us on anything. We ended up going with a new Liftmaster 8550 and some new wheels, and now our garage door is so quiet I can barely hear it run when Im in the garage. I will definitely use them again.

He was easy to communicate with, considerate and personable even in the face of COVID-19 awkwardness. He was also helpful with setting-up financing, even coming out another day to set that up. The day of the installation Cody Scott and John came to replace the garage door. They were ON TIME, SUPER FAST, VERY QUIET and left NO MESS. I was told installation would take 5 hours they were done in about two. When I went to check on the progress, I was surprised to see that they were wrapping-up. Before leaving they walked me through all the intricacies of the installation and made sure I had no questions before they left. The work looked awesome! The seal was tight and draft-proof and they even hooked up my garage door opener for NO extra cost. Another quote I got mentioned that major alterations would have to be made to the space, but Cody and John found a way to work with the raised wood floor in the garage and ceiling mounted shelving. I have an aging garage door opener and wont hesitate to call them to replace it when it bites the dust. I highly recommend calling the BURNSVILLE, MN location for your garage door needs. We worked with Dalton & Justin.They replaced an aging chain drive garage door opener that you could hear down the street, and also tuned up and replaced several worn our components on the garage doors themselves. I woke up (Sunday at 8:00) to let the dogs out and my garage door would not open due to what turned out to be a broken spring. I placed a call to Reliable Garage door (I had put in two new doors and openers back in 2013) and reached a person immediately. They told me they could have someone over soon to replace the spring. The technician showed up in about twenty minutes and had the repair done within another twenty minutes, remember this is a Sunday morning around 8:00). I cannot believe how great this companys customer service is. Last time I had an issue they were also very prompt. It has taken many a restaurant longer to serve me food than it took a Reliable GD to get to my house. Can you imagine any other contractor responding this fast?Another pleasant surprise is I purchased the new garage doors and openers back in 2013 and the grand total for two to three service calls since has been ZERO$. That is because I have a ten year warranty from the date of the new install.I would highly recommend this company. They put their service where their advertising is. We purchased a new garage door opener yesterday and it was installed by Justin. Everything went perfectly!!!!!!!!! Justin was so professional to work with and did a great job on the installation. I highly recommend Reliable Garage Door! We have had them install a new opener, springs and cables over the last ten years and every time they did an outstanding job! Recently our spring broke and because we had purchase a life time warranty back in 2014 the entire cost was $0. Our service rep, Justin Christensen, was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. Definitely a great company!

Justin came out to inspect our garage door and replaced the seal on the bottom of the door. He also installed a 877 LM opener with MyQ. He answered all our questions patiently. It was the most professional, efficient, and cleanest installation we have ever expeireinced. Justin is easy to work with, personable and is attentive to the details. Great product and service. My garage door wasnt opening. Called and setup an appointment- technician (Derek) came within 1 week of calling and went through my options- only $40 for a service call. Super low pressure and seemed honest and genuine. Very happy with the service- he even programmed my remote for my 3rd stall door after I paid. Highly recommend.

Our garage door had broken suddenly and we just happened across this company. They corresponded with us so quickly and got the doors installed only days after they received the shipment. The technician, named Cody S., arrived right at the time he promised and was wonderful. He called when he arrived, installed them quickly, and also cleaned up after himself, which was especially important for us. The doors, of course, look great. He also had such a strong consideration for customer service. Wed recommend and use this company again solely because of Cody.
