Great, quick service from Rock Hard Landscape. I had ordered delivery of top soil by a competitor of theirs for today, and they called me this morning to say that they couldnt deliver for the next several days because of the recent and expected rain. I needed the soil for a lawn project that must be done this weekend. I contacted RHL immediately to see if they could accommodate me. I spoke with Kevin and he said theyd be able to deliver the needed soil by noon time today. They just left my home a few minutes ago. The driver (I didnt catch her name) was friendly and professional.I didnt expect to have delivery same day. I was just hoping theyd be able to do it by EOD on Friday. Im very happy with the rapid response to my request. The pricing was actually a bit better too. Very reasonable. Ill definitely keep them in mind for any future landscape material needs.

The process to order landscape rock online is so easy and I received a call back promptly to finalize payment and delivery details. The delivery was also completed quickly and as promised.

I LOVE this place!!! We discovered Rock Hard landscape last year during the pandemic. Our contractor didn’t finish the job and we were left to figure out how to complete it in our own. Pricing is way more favorable than big box stores. Selection is everything you would expect and absolutely exceeds a home DIYer’s needs. I’ve had such a great experience with this location and their team. They treat me as a valued customer even though I’m a home owner and not a high volume contractor. The staff is knowledgeable and patient while they are answering all my questions. Yes, sometimes you’re put on hold when calling, sometimes it takes them some time to get back with you via email, but it’s because they’re busy! I’ve never been ignored if there are no other customers being helped. Purchasing custom cut stones are a breeze and they sometimes can sneak smaller jobs in between big ones. So, your order might be done sooner than projected. Home deliveries are painless and they will work closely with you on where to place the material. We have had such a positive experience, we only use them for our landscape rocks. Highly recommend Rock Hard Landscape Supply in Burnsville!

Excellent experience with Rock Hard Landscape. We built our house 4 years ago and used them for all our rock landscaping needs. They were recommended by a friend and we found them very easy to work with and we were happy with the rocks they provided. Yesterday I called in last minute to see if I could get 4 rocks for a Girl Scouts project. I asked Chad if they had about 20 available and he said they had about 20 tons of it. Haha! We chuckled about it and I asked if I could come in 15-20 mins before closing to pick them out and he said hed have someone ready for me. When I got there Chad was waiting for me at the door, greeted me in a friendly manner, and pointed out the different rock for clarification on what I needed. He radioed back and someone met me in their back lot so they could dig up the rock under the snow. I picked out what I needed from the bucket on their yellow machine thingy (I dont know construction equipment so yellow machine thingy is the best I got) and left one happy customer. I was there under 10 minutes! I felt like I mattered as a customer, even though I was only getting 20 rocks. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Their receptionist needs to work on her customer service skills. I called for a price on a product, not to schedule a delivery, simply a price on a product. She showed little to no knowledge of the items they carry and was unwilling to provide the price without scheduling a delivery. When I asked what the price would she was rather curt, Ill shop elsewhere.

They told me the product I ordered was their premium limestone. I received 2 loads and the product cost $4,000 more than I was quoted. Come to find out the product was actually EW Gold and they told me it was the wrong product. Product was already installed so I couldnt return it. I DO NOT recommend this company due to the way they handled this incident. Had they called me with a total and for my credit card before delivering I would have caught the mistake and not ordered it, but they had my credit card saved from a former delivery and ran it without my permission so there was nothing I could do. Absolute terrible management of the situation and I will never shop there again

Started at another nearby shop. Spent 10 minutes having young teenagers tell me “they don’t know” to every question I had. Googled for alternatives and ended up here. Amazing service and people that actually know about their products.

The customer service was wonderful (Chad), along with the other staff. I had went to a different company and they were trying to rip me off money wise. Im so glad that I decided to call somewhere else and since Rock Hard has a 4.9 star rating I went with them. I even got a cheaper price from them than what they quoted me over the phone for delivery of a Boulder Rock. GREAT service especially when you are not that familiar of what you want. ROCK HARD really believes in providing GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We visited on 5/9/2020 (during Covid-19). We tried calling first to place an order but the person who answered told us to hold on but never came back to the phone. Knowing they were probably busy we drove there to find one person was ahead of us. Due to Covid-19 all transactions were handled outside in front of the store. We waited, and waited and waited only to see the customer ahead of us treated with rude customer service. When he was almost finished he asked for a receipt (after spending $2,000). The girl assisting him looked at him, rolled her eyes then walked back in the store. Three minutes later another girl came out and handed (more like threw it) him a receipt . We were shocked. We watched his entire transaction take place and he was never rude or disrespectful to the staff. After seeing this we left. We went across the street to give our business to another landscaping company. I gave 2 stars because their prices were slightly cheaper but not enough to persuade us to come back.

Sent here by a friend who is a professional landscaper. This is a Mom-and-Pop owned store. Personal service, friendly service, helpful and professional advice. Interested in my project, and gave me tips to make it even easier and better. Have dealt directly with Adam and Krista, but everyone I have spoken with has been great. Prices are definitely fair, and the quality of the product is what you want.I always try to frequent smaller family-owned businesses because the care and follow-up are usually better. This is no exception. They understand customer service.

I do my best to bring all my business to Rock Hard. Ive called multiple times for delivery and received it that same day. When Im picking out boulders for a waterfall they let me take my time and load us carefully. Theyre knowledgeable about the industry and industry standards. They also have the best prices in town! I greatly appreciate that they have the same employees year to year. I prefer to support businesses that take care of their employees and keep them happy. I highly recommend using Rock Hard Landscape Supplies!

We ordered a bulk 50/50 compost/black dirt order from them and they dumped it in the middle of our driveway, not by the side of the driveway like we asked. Apparently this is standard policy when... it rains? The driveway isnt where they expect it to be? We werent informed of this, and the driver who confirmed the delivery to us over the phone didnt tell us he had dropped it in the driveway. Im pregnant and now my husband has to move all of the dirt out of the driveway tonight so that we can get our cars in or out. We will never use this company again.
