Jon was very pleasant and his patience was ABOVE average! He was well informed with all the items that was and wasnt in stock and managed to help me find the right pieces for my home. Im about to just cancel my contract for a bed I financed because they are causing me so many issues with just having it delivered. I paid to have my bed delivered this weekend and I am STILL missing my box springs. I couldve went someplace else had I known I would have this much of a problem and hassle just getting what I paid for. I have put off getting groceries even just waiting on them to deliver my box springs. I am not sure I will be continuing doing business here again. I am very dissatisfied given the level of customer service they offer.

Prices are excellent and the salesman is very helpful. The delivery was couple days early but they called ahead which was awesome.

Salespeople do not hover over you during your shopping experience, which was nice, but at the same time they are quick to assist you when needed. We bought a couch today, and ordered a kitchen table that we’ll pick up next weekend. Thanks for not making this a terrible experience, and for coming across as friendly customer service, rather than pushy salespeople. I would definitely come back here.

We didn’t get what we ordered, we were told it would be here in two weeks, 4 weeks later and nothing. Still deserves 5 stars due to their customer service experience. They were able to rectify the situation, we did end up with something that was equally loved and was able to take it home that day! I do not place blame on the original order, we are in the middle of a pandemic, and instead of them telling me to just get a refund and go somewhere else, they offered much help in solving the problem! I would still recommend and continue to shop with American Freight, just keep in mind that anywhere you go, there is going to be a wait time, so at this point it’s all on how well the establishment tries to make it right, they handled it!

I was really skeptical of this place since we always shopped art van. Its more of a warehouse atmosphere however im so happy with the furniture purchased. Johns customer service is above and beyond and made everything super comfortable while buying. The delivery people were awesome they set up twice as fast as our past art van deliveries they were in and out polite, called before hand giving us enough time to get ready. It was all around a great experience from start to finish. Who ever owns this place should be super proud of all their employees. We defiantly will be back.

If you enjoy waiting 2 and a half months for your furniture then this is the store for you. Customer service also has no problem not giving you any updates or feedback on your order, but theyre quick to take your money!After two and a half months of patiently waiting on my order I decide to give the store a call for an update. Only for them to tell me they have no estimated delivery date for my $800 sofa but to even claim the sofa I originally had to make the payment in full? I would be surprised if this business wasnt a front for some sort of illegal activity because their business practices are simply unprofessional. While the customer service is lazy, slow, and uninformed. Please shop elsewhere for your furniture and appliance needs.

I just went to American Freight furniture today and I have put a nice lovely sectional in the layaway and everybody was friendly places clean all the associates will smash stuff which thats a beautiful thing I had a beautiful associate that took care of everything for me and she is a wonderful person love to shop there I have not been in American Freight furniture since the last 15 years they are still good people to do so if anybody like to go there they do give you deals so give it a try

I bought an electric laundry station from the Livonia location on 04/03. I got a delivery date for the same week but somehow they missed it so I spoke to store managers John, Ed, and Ali. All three of them assured me that the station will be dropped off the next day. Well that never happened. I called them again and this time they took down my name, number and I even verified the address to make sure it was going to the right address. Long story short, after talking to all three of these blithering idiots for two weeks I finally got the wrong product delivered to the wrong house. These absolutely useless. I even paid for installation too. The delivery guys did not take the product back, I can’t get a refund and they won’t fix this situation.

I went there on 12/16/20 and received professional service. My beautiful sectional was delivered on 12/18/20 earlier than expected, which is awesome. The delivery guy’s were professional and assembled our sectional fast and efficiently. I’m highly satisfied.

I love this store John was very helpful. I had to measure the width of the furniture because I have abnormally small doorways. He had no problem doing the measuring. This place is very unprofessional!!!!! I placed an order with this company March 19, 2021 and was told my order will be here the second week of April ! No one called to let me know any updates with my furniture but instead I had to call them! When I called they said my furniture will be here May 2nd ! May 2nd get here, no one still haven’t called me or updated me on what’s going on with my order. So I called again and spoke with a lady who said call back at the end of the week it should be here, I called and now John the assistant manager who was the person who sold me my furniture in March says it won’t be here until the 21st and lied saying it was never coming on May 2 because he didn’t know I spoke to 3 people who have already confirmed this date while he was on vacation, so now I am mad and asked to speak to the manager, they left me on hold for 25 minutes and then hung up the phone on me ! So I went up there and spoke to another associate and this associate says they are no longer bringing my order to the store ! So John the assistant manager lied just to get me off the phone and said my furniture was going to be here on the 21st and they have him as an assistant manager !!! I would not recommend this unprofessional place to no one !! They are rude and get mad at you for calling about your furniture you paid your money for ! Please look somewhere else this place is not worth the headache !

Took my mom to buy a new mattress set. Mike was our salesperson and he started out ok but then he went south. He gave her a sheet set instead of the mattress protector she paid for then preceded to argue with me about it. Then the first guy that was tying the mattress on the car only put two ties around the mattresses and gave me attitude when I questioned him about the wind which was blowing about 23 mpr. Thank goodness for Matt coming along. He got the mattress protector straightened out and put two more ties on the mattress. One star is for mike 3 stars are for Matt. Thank you Matt so much we made it home intact.

We have bought furniture for $3,000..and we agreed with them that they build all the furniture and deliver it to the house..and we were surprised on the second day that they sent it in the boxes and no one built it and they asked us for $200 for that..

Nice furniture at low cost. Really appreciated Mike at the docks being patient and carefully cutting open the wrapping so I could fully inspect my furniture and verify it was in good condition. (It was.)HOWEVER. After I paid in full, I was told approximately 3 weeks for my couch to come in, and they would call me when it arrived. Two and a half months later, it finally came in, and I only found out because I kept calling then to check in. It was extremely frustrating. Id but them at 3.5 stars if I could.
