Skagit Arms has a great selection of both long guns and hand guns and will order items for you. Theres also a large variety of ammunition and reloading supplies as well. The really nice part is their gun counter is heavily staffed with knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you even when the store is busy. Plenty of parking and easy access.

Lets just say the waiting period is 10 days not 30 days.. How are they gonna tell me the law is different.. if its a store policy than just say that.. dont tell me the law has changed.. lost a customer for life.

The first time i tried to buy something they stopped helping me halfway through and went to go help someone looking as a more expensive optic. They came back a while later sayin they are now closed. And never go in after getting off work from a blue collar job. On two occasions I stopped in after work, in my line of work my clothes are usually muddy before i get home. The salesmen sit and stare at you for a long time before a manager walks by asks if you need help then make someone come help you. Then its quite obvious they feel like they have something better to do. This has happened to me twice the week and happened to my dad who waited for over an hour. And no they where not busy.

Should of read the reviews first. Had the exact same experience. Condending. Clerk: “I can’t help you” . Me: “you’re right, you can’t” walked out and bought the ammo I was looking for down the street.

Terrible customer service. Don’t expect any after-sale help on anything you purchase here, even if it’s defective. They don’t care at all: you bought it, it’s your problem.

If you need ammo this place had a decent supply compared to others but not everything I needed. Customer service was their weak point, old timers at the back counter talk to you like youre a child if you dont know everything about firearms and the cashier must just hate his job. I saw some of the other employees being helpful with other customers but we didnt get to experience that. Place just down the road got our business instead.

Stopped by first time,lots of inventory. All employees that I spoke with were helpful and nice. My favorite part was that they had a lot of different ammo at great prices and no purchase limits. Definitely will be a return customer from now on.

No one here will be very helpful or even kind, and dont ask for advice. But they have guns in stock and if youve done all your own research and know exactly what you want and they have that gun in stock then youll be fine. In the end after asking for a floor manager I was taken care of, with disdain, but none the less taken care of.

My experience was great when acquiring my firearms from Skagit Arms. I already knew what I wanted when I arrived so I just looked at the glass cases which are organized nicely by brands. Store is well laid out and the customer service I got was great, filling out the paperwork was smooth as well. They make sure to have another set of eyes double check the paperwork before submitting it as well so there is less likely any issues unless you fail the background check, Which then you shouldn’t be in this store to begin with.

Great selection and typically a great staff - I have found that there are a couple of guys who will try to make you feel like an idiot, but Ive been in there enough to know who to avoid. You will ALWAYS pay on the high end of retail here, but the service and selection makes up for it.

Walked into the store at 4:35 (store closes at 5)Guy at the door says if we havent started the paperwork 15 minutes prior to close we wont start.Ok I know what I am going to Buy.I walk over to the sig counter and wait for help while some dude ignores us. Then at 4:39 guy walks over, I say I want a p365 he says its too late to start paperwork. Best place to shop for your personal protection devices, including an amazing amount of selection in stock. The hunting and fishing gear are always a good sale price, and even after several visits theres always more to see. Shopping locally is necessary, small, private, independent locally-owned businesses are important in our community; that makes this the single best local store for supplying any outdoor activity fun. Forget about the craziness at Wa-llys World, where theres never enough employees to provide customer service, though the employees at Wa-llys World work as best they can and theyre cool, I have to be honest!Not only are the prices decent and the merchandise manufactured with better quality, another reason to choose Skagit Arms is the people; the staff at Skagit Arms are welcoming, nice, efficient, straightforward, professional, polite, honest, knowledgeable -and I mean really knowledgeable- I wish I could give this wonderful business a hundred stars!!!!I recommend shopping at Skagit Arms to anyone and everyone I know. I stopped in to get some general information about the store and the range on this visit. I didnt have time to wait to go into the store because at the time they only allowed a very few people in the store at a time. That may have changed by now, I dont know. However, I am considering putting in some range time with my handgun. Its a very nice store, and as I understand it, the range is quite nice as well. Once Ive had a chance to put in some trigger time there, Ill update this review with photos and more information.

Super big gun store. Very well staffed. They require you to allow them to check your gun at upon entry to make sure its not loaded, this is great and super safe thing to do.Everyone was helpful and informative.They didnt try to over sell or undersell me on the item I asked about.This store had some ammo when I was there a couple weeks ago.Ammo I saw was 12 gauge, 20 gauge and various rifle ammo.They were out of most of the common ammo like .45 , 9mm , 12 gauge buck shot and some types of common rifle ammo.This store also accepts FLL firearm transfers ($40 I think).All in all great store and Ill be back.

Worst customer service ive ever seen. Soon as i walked in i asked a question and got met with a blank stare for a solid 20 seconds before being answered with i dont know go ask one of them. After walking over to them i asked same question as before and was looked at as if i bothered the two employees having a conversation and should have waited for them to finish. Finally my question was very rudelyanswered and i left.

I get better service at Goodwill, ask to see something ( from some Asian looking employee ) after waiting , he showed me the first item, when I asked to see the second item, which was the same, but different color, he said he would only take it out if I purchased it.....So I had him grab it only to saw no thanks, as a point.Worst service ever.....if zero stars was an option, I would have left him -10.

Ive gotten a few firearms over the years here and last weekend I asked about the new 2000.00 CZ rifle and how do we go about ordering one today and the employee replied, I dont know and if its not here then thats that. First time there and it was an overwhelming experience in a good way sort of . They had what I was looking for which was great since many places were out of stock of what I was looking for. The interaction my wife had when asking a employee for some help was good they were not rude or short with her. I would drive back up there again to get what I need.🤙🏽

They have a good selection of firearms, reloading supplies, ammo, and cleaning supplies. Even a good selection of holsters and mags. Ive really only went in there once and they didnt have what I was looking for, but for the most part they have it every time. Its worth the 45 minute drive North for me.

Every time I have visited this store, I have always been treated with great customer service and respect. I saw a review where a person was ignored due to the color of their skin. Thats hard for me to believe, especially since Im Filipino and Punjabi (East Indian) with a big Indian beard. That has never stopped them from helping me and giving me great information.This more reflects 1 individual who works there so I dont hold it against the entire store. I went in to purchase a firearm and the guy behind the counter proceeded to basically tell me to not buy it based on his belief of things. So I walked out empty handed. Nonetheless, still great people. Still 5 stars.

Very good gun store for customer service

Wanted to peruse and possibly buy more stuff, but only one of the 5 or so employees was wearing a mask (props to the cashier for following state orders). I’m not gonna risk my life to support this business.

I assumed the reviews on here were either new buyers or old buyers who didnt want to change their ways. Wife and I walked in, up to the counter where a worker came up to ask if he could help us. I asked if they had what we were looking for in stocks but were told no and it had a waiting list due to the control-virus scare. OK. I ask about another firearm that I was interested in and same response. My wife made comments trying to lead the worker on to showing/ recommending us something else that was similar, but he didnt care to say much; he didnt seem to have any interest in making a sale.I honestly went in thinking these reviews were just flukes, but turns out that at least one of their workers really doesnt care to make a sale. There was another worker that was friendly when we came in and left.On a side note, the wife and I went to another store down the road where they had both firearms in stock and were took their time to help us out.

Decent customers service. Was able to chat with someone immediately. My complaint is in regards to their pricing. I brought in my shotgun (new it costs ~950) and was hoping to trade it in for store credit. I was expecting around 400 give or take a few. I understand they need to make a profit and it could very well just sit in their display for a while. They offered me 150. If you’re trying to trade/ sell of them, go to All American Armory. Skagit Arms will low ball you every time and not care. All American Arms has good people that care for their customers, Skagit Arms is the polar opposite.

Went into the store on an early Saturday and they werent too busy. Had a great ammo selection although it was marked up a bit but I diddnt find it unreasonable. They are in the business of guns and bullets so they dont get to markup boats and candy like big chain stores. Worked with a guy named gus who turned me onto a ratcheting belt that is comfy for my every day holster. All in all id say 9/10 customer service. 9/10 prices. And 10/10 selection.Note on reloading supplies being ample and the store being really well cleaned.

Everyone was really helpful. 3 of the 4 gents that helped were good humored and fun to talk to, one guy was a bit odd but still very helpful. I walked around for a few minutes before anyone helped me, but contrary to some 1 star reviews, I found this refreshing. I hate it when salesmen push you right away, I like to browse a bit.The store was well lit and had a pretty good inventory. They have two stores, one with used, one with new stuff.They had a new item that I was looking for thats pretty scarce right now. They had an extremely competitive price. I went home and priced all the things I bought and found that everything was the same or cheaper than online prices.In short; I would make the 20 minute drive for any purchase over shopping at a box store, online, or smaller sporting stores. No one is perfect, but these people are close enough for me.

First time in here and the last, hispanic salesman in his 50s with a beard was super rude and condescending (seems to be a reoccurring theme with this employee). Staff was not following proper guidelines when cleaning handguns and social distancing. Prices suck too, do yourself a favor and order online somewhere else and pay a cheap fee for a transfer. All the prior bad reviews are accurate, everyone had a know it all attitude.

Awesome store, professional people, large selection, knowledgeable, and just an all around nice crowd. They are definitely more geared toward the tactical side of the gun market more but that makes since as that is the majority of the gun community at the moment. That being said it was a little disappointing their lack of revolvers, both single and double action, but that could just not be their market. But I would 100 % recommend you check out this place. I haven’t purchased a firearm from this place but I get the impression it would be pretty painless and I also can’t speak to the ffl transfer prices.

Decent selection of muzzleloading supplies. Their reloading selection has a wide variety of powders, projectiles, and all other reloading needs. Ammo selection is all you could ever need. They carry a very large selection of handguns, tactical rifles, shotguns, and bolt action hunting and target rifles. Their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are a little better than Cabelas. Great gun store for all your firearm needs in northern Washington!

Staff probably know what theyre talking about, although they do it a, Im better then you attitude. I would like to support a local business, but truth is I can get the same ammo from Walmart, Cabelas, or Fred Meyer and ALSO receive good customer service, free of charge.

On November 17 at 2:15, I stopped by to purchase some items. I was greeted promptly by a gentleman behind the far counter (late 50s, beard). I described what I needed. He was able to find one item. I then asked about a front holster to carry my gun when hiking. He asked me what type of gun I had. When I said I had a Glock 26, he said, “oh, a girly gun.” He commented that the store only carries holsters for real guns. When I asked others in my shooting club about their experiences at Skagit Arms, they had similar stories of insulting comments. I am not likely to return. I tried to email the store hoping for a positive response, but the address advertised was not valid.

Fantastic store. Employees never rush you, and are more than willing to be patient with you and help you pick the perfect rifle, shotgun, or handgun. Never had a problem, and it is absolutely my favorite store. Plus its a local business!

I live 1 hour away from the store, so I called up to ensure that they have a particular handgun that I was looking to purchase. The guy that picked up the gun seems like he didnt even listen to me what I was asking and instead of answering my questions, he just blurted the price of the gun..Thank you, but next time I wont be even calling, I just deal with online shopping and pay the transfer fees...You lost customer for life.....

Nice store with nice selection. Been in there several times, even paid more because I want to support local business. But with some real good staff, you also have some real bad ones. One too many encounters with the later. Wanted to support local versus Cabelas or Amazon, but cant do business with such arrogance. Just purchased my precision rifle at Cabelas - YOUR LOSS SA - you better get your staff squared away or youll be out of business before you know it...real shame!

Ive been a lifelong customer here and will continue to purchase my firearms and gear here. As Ive learned about gun salesman I realized 50% are pretentious and rude. 25% are military nuts and 25% are just perfect. For someone who is new to the gun industry you need to remember that some of these people are vets or seasoned gun owners and can be pretty condecending. They all have a selection that is virtually unbeatable that even cabelas cant compete. They have average prices but typically its a bit overpriced but I know they need to make money too. I would suggest going into there multiple times and figure out what employee you like to work with the most and stick with them. As much as I agree with the negative customer service comments I would say take it with a grain of salt because that mentality is industry wide. Its like going to florida and realizing everyone is florida man.. noone can live in that heat forever. Just like a gun salesman cant be nice and informative every time someone wastes an hour of their time window shopping or looking for guns in call of duty. Id recommend this store to anyone. Just dont take it personally if people are blunt or rude to new gun owners.

Purchased two Harris bipods on 10/18/19 returned next day to exchange one because it was different leg extension than the other, they didnt anymore in stock and said it would be a few weeks before back in stock. I let them know I would need it before then and asked for a refund. Was told no refunds, only store credit., even though I had paid in cash.Will not step back in Skagit arms ever again. Poor customer service. As a business owner in the valley for over 20 years I am amazed a business would treat customers like that.All America Armory will get all my business from now on.

Went in here just looking at handguns. I cant legally buy a handgun yet because im only 20, so I was just looking at prices. I turn 21 in less than a month, also worth noting that I dont look my age.People at front counter were acting really condescending (mostly about my age) and just didnt like the way they were talking to me. If Im gonna spend $500+ on a handgun, Id rather go to Cabelas where the employees arent intimidating, they dont belittle you and they treat you with respect in a comfortable atmosphere

Outstanding prices on a lot of items, I ended up purchasing a firearm that was at an unbeatable price. Customer service was slightly slow but that may have been due to the day as well as time of day. Overall I am impressed and will be a returning customer

First off, very clean, very well laid out things are easy to find, but I become like a kid in a candy store!I am both a woman and LGBT very out and proud, I was treated no differently than any other customer in the store! That’s a biggie!!!Bought a CZ P-01 in grey. after looking at many other firearms. Not one ounce of pressure, even told me about used guns.With my Veterans discount paid less including tax than I found it on line for. Online there is tax on top of that, shipping add the FFL cost...by the way, CZ is about the most underated firearms made! have others!

This place is very unprofessional!!!! On a field trip making a quick stop for food for the kids (2.5 hour bus ride) and An older Hispanic man who claims the owners “do not allow parking for people going to McDonald’s! You have to move” this was three minutes after we parked. We then moved ahead to the gas station but the man again came to claim the owner owned the whole lot and we again had to move. Very rude to a kids and buses. If this is how the company talks to kids I can’t imagine how they talk to those walking into their doors

I bought a S&W M&P Sport II online as it was far cheaper than Cabelas ($200 less) and had it shipped to Skagit Arms. When I went to pick it up the employees processed my paperwork quickly and I was out the door with my new rifle in about 20 minutes. Granted Im a CPP holder so getting the background done is a lot easier than for most people however, the employees were helpful, fast and courteous.Ive had probably a dozen interactions with Skagit Arms over the years and never a negative experience. I can only think that people who are giving bad reviews either had a chip on their shoulder or got there at a very busy time.

These guys (actually it was the ladies there) were great to work with. Bought a S&W AR 5.56 for cheaper than anywhere online. Ammo was .40/rd for quality rounds. & They also ordered a specific shotgun for me which came quickly and even has enhanced iron sights on it. I would definitely buy from them again and was very happy with the service I received.

I have been in this store on 3 separate occasions. This last trip confirmed what I experienced the first 2 times. The service is horrible. Unless youre on fire they dont acknowledge you. I will happily spend my money somewhere else.

Excellent service from the moment I walked in. Ive been keeping my eye out for a CZ RAMI and came in without expectations because its a hard-to-find pistol. When I asked about it in the main location, they didnt have it but told me they just got a used one across the parking lot. I went over, and sure enough, they had exactly what I was looking for. The RAMI is in excellent condition for an excellent price, and the people at both shops were incredibly helpful. I think his name was Bob in the used shop- he was very welcoming and a pleasure to buy from. I dont know the older gentlemans name in the new shop today, but he recommended great defense ammo, and after getting home and doing some research, Im very glad I bought it. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all of my friends and family. Thank you!

I have bought over a dozen guns in this storeI have been in there 3 times in the past two weeks to purchase some new firearms and have been completely ignored on all 3 visits . People standing right behind me have gotten service but I keep getting ignored so my business will go somewhere else. Guess this is how they treat veterans.
